I am so disappointed and frustrated with the repair from Caliber Collision in West Chester. My 2018 Volvo was rear ended & we took it there to be repaired at the recommendation of my Volvo dealership. At the start, the employees at Caliber seemed wonderful and knowledgeable. Our car was finished ahead of schedule, and we were pleasantly surprised. That is where the positive experience stopped. When we got there on Friday to pick up the car, we noticed that one of the AWD badges was missing and a chrome accent on the bumper was scuffed. They told us they would order a new decal & we could stop back when it arrived. They also buffed the scuff, so we left satisfied. Over the weekend, we noticed that a back hatch in the cargo area was stuck shut and the sunroof no longer opened properly. Both of these features worked perfectly, prior to the accident. My husband called on Saturday & left a voicemail. No one responded, so we called again on Tuesday and were told to bring it in. I brought it back, and was treated with skepticism and one employee took a condescending tone. They declared both issues as "Warranty Related" and not an effect of the accident. They told me I had to take it to the Volvo dealer, and acted like I completely wasted their time. I accepted this, but was frustrated since these parts worked perfectly fine before the accident. Now, another week has passed, and I found a rear panel in the cargo area that was never properly re-attached & is loose, and my rear hatch keeps registering as open, sending off warnings while I'm driving, when in fact its securely closed. I've even pulled over to check, but the door is always shut. NOW, it won't even open properly. This is so frustrating and unacceptable. So, I once again, have to call them, and take it back AGAIN! I'm so sad. I truly wish I would have gone to the collision place the insurance company suggested. I am a working mom with three kids in activities. I.DO.NOT.HAVE.TIME to keep taking my car back into the shop to hopefully convince them to repair my car correctly. I do not recommend them at all. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere to have your car repaired. read more
