Based on…read moreConcord Auto Body Shop's reputation we took our Jeep Grand Cherokee for an estimate last summer and were hoping to have it scheduled for repair while we were away for a 2 week summer vacation out west. Concord Auto Body was extremely busy, but Pete was very accomodating and said he could fit us in while we were away on vacation. We were kept informed on the progress and any additional potential work while we were gone. While still away we were informed that the car was ready and we could pick it up when we returned. The Jeep looked perfect when we arrived to pick it up. The car was also immaculately cleaned which was a bit unexpected. Considering we have two young kids it was a very nice sight to see the car look brand new on the inside and out! In June of this year we had to take my BMW 3 series in for a minor scrape on the front left fender/bumper area. I was dreading the potential cost of this one because a family member had scraped the car with his car and we were not handling through insurance. I feared the worst in terms of damage cost even though the damage didn't look "that bad". Again, we arrived at Concord Auto Body on the verge of a trip to the Delaware coast for a week and were hoping we could get fit in while we were gone. Pete, again was extremely accomodating and said they would fit us in. He gave us an extensive review of what would need to be done to fix the damage including several potential addtional significant costs that might be incurred depending on what was found underneath the bumper and the various sensor for park distance, etc. We were again kept informed throughout from the call a week in advance of our drop off as a friendly reminder and during our trip to inform us what was done and when the car would be ready for pick up. Upon our return yesterday, the car was sitting there waiting for us. The car looked perfect like it just came off the show room floor of the dealership. Pete and the crew inside were extremely friendly and we joked around about how my Dad still wouldn't be invited over for Thanksgiving for damaging my car. As I got into the car, I was again floored by how clean the car was on the inside as well as the perfect fix on the outside. I genuinely felt like I was driving a brand new car again! Had my 2018 Honda Civic Si to the dealership for inspection, front end alignment and LOF back in…read moreAugust. Honda Gold certified tech Michael Seddon over at Reidman Toll did everything for me and suggested replacing the 2 rear tires before first snow since treads passed but were getting low. My son (who drives this car on a 2 hr round trip to work each day) noticed that the "H" Honda logo on the steering wheel was still crooked when tires were straight. Took it back for Mike to recheck. He said that something was definitely off, but recommended having it looked at at a body shop before he randomly starting replacing parts, since there was no obvious reason for it and he wanted to r/o a possible issue with the sub-frame. He double-checked the alignment and test drove it again, then rechecked again. Alignment was holding straight. Car acted fine so we did not rush to the body shop. Then during heavy rains for a few days in a row a few weeks ago, my son was complaining that the Si was hydroplaning, even on roads that were "just wet" (not even puddles) at only 35 mph on the turnpike (scary, but I thought he was just being overly dramatic maybe). I had him stop in at Mavis Tire in Frazer / Malvern area, as they typically do a great job when we need new tires. Manager Bobby said they were too busy that Thursday and asked him to bring it back on Friday at 5 pm. My son did that. Bobby checked out the tires and said the same thing Mike had said; the treads are getting low on the 2 rear tires, so rx replacing them before winter. The following week, my son was driving the turnpike to work. Fortunately, his company is just off the turnpike exit and he made it to work ok. But soon after, one of his co-workers walking through the parking lot noticed that the left rear tire was flat. They took it off and were horrified to find that the tire was completely bald on the inside, with giant bubbles in it, and completely blown out. How he ever survived going down the turnpike at 70+ mph is beyond me. Looking at the tire, (and as we later found out, the right one as well was almost as bad) it was a miracle he escaped tragic death that could have also killed others around him. They had to put a donut on to drive it about 2 miles down the road to the Mavis Tire in Bristol, PA. Manager Kenny there was horrified to know that the other Mavis in Frazer did not catch this, even though they had just supposedly checked the tires not even 5 days before. (I called and Bobby admitted to "not having much time" (even though my son made an appt and special trip back, just to have them checked out thoroughly) and to only looking at the outer edges of the tires and didn't check them out completely. Kenny at Bristol Mavis was great! They had the tires in stock and hooked us up with a great deal on them and also did another alignment. We pointed out the issue with the "H" not straight on the steering wheel, so they brought in a master mechanic to check and found the camber off, so he adjusted that. They test drove it, and found the car to still be pulling hard to the right, so they also made the suggestion that we should have it checked out at a body shop to rule out sub-frame damage before jumping into replacing suspension parts, since there was no obvious issues with the suspension. So we brought the car back to Chester County. A friend of mine recommended we reach out to Lance over at West Chester Calliber Collison. Lance was great! We dropped the car off at night, and by 9 am the next morning, they had accessed the car and determined that the sub-frame was in fact ok (whew!) The issue was just one side lower control arm. So they sent it out to an automotive shop they partner with, and had my car done the next day after replacing it (and doing the THIRD alignment in 3 months!) Lance and staff and partners were extremely fast and efficient, provided excellent customer service, all at a very reasponalbe cost. My Si now drives perfectly! Hopefully no more unevenly worn, unsafe tires in our future. They even detailed the Si, inside and out and gave it back to us in immaculate condition. We are so grateful to Caliber for getting to the bottom of things and fixing us up. Thank you Lance and staff! And please give our thanks to your partner automotive shop techs as well. And on a side note; damage was almost definitely caused by one of our wonderful PA potholes. Anyone want to join me in a protest against Penn-Dot? For the amt of taxes we pay, we should not have to worry about road damage to our cars!

Not only did they properly diagnose and repair my 2018 Honda Civic, Si quickly and efficiently, they even returned it to us fully detailed inside and out! Thank you so much Lance and crew. I stopped by for a quote, and from the start, J.T. was very transparent with us and told us that pricing would depend on how perfect we wanted the damage to look after the fix. He gave us a very fair price for an intermediate fix, which we decided to go with. Later on, we got a phone call that the fix was quicker than they thought, and they were knocking the price down even further. It's hard to come by this kind of honesty. Also, had a great conversation with the owner of the business about a modified Jeep he gave me a ride in to a rental car place. Would definitely love to give more business to this place. They sold me a diagnostic check costing $209. After that was done, I was informed that it needed to go to stage 2, costing an untold amount, and it was unclear. They told me I would need to leave the car overnight, when over the phone Ty had made it sound like what I needed would take a few hours at most. The saving grace was the mechanic who told me, moments before I took their custom-wrapped shuttle vehicle to my apartment, who shot straight and told me it would cost more than the car to have what they intended to do for stage 2 diagnostics. I was not made aware of the potential costs before being ushered to the shuttle to my apartment. I only found out because I had to retrieve things from my car and spoke with the man doing the actual work. I verbally chewed out Brown, and to his credit, he accepted the ire with a calm manner and spoke kindly, which I really respect, but to be fair, he never made it clear what the stage 2 diagnostics comprised of and what the projected cost would be, allowing me to assume things were still heading in a clear direction. The reality was that the mechanic had never done this sort of computer work before and would need to build a custom reader. I did not find out until I spoke with the mechanic about what was actually happening. What made this so frustrating was that I told Brown I was down to my last dollar and borrowing money. I do not feel as if the best effort was made toward transparency of cost when it really mattered. I'm used to speaking with an honest, hardworking mechanic.
