Sixto said a bumper replacement would cost about $3,000 or more and said he would take it into the shop for a look. The repair work went smoothly; however, there were a few minor delays due to some replacement parts not being usable. Pete kept me informed about the delays and the revised completion dates, which were minor. When the job was completed, I could not believe how good my car looked. It looked brand new. They had our truck for 6 weeks and because my son was without a vehicle for so long, TJ the manager, allowed us to pick up the truck before it was completely done, just waiting to get the fog lights finished but was told everything else was done. My son and I went to pick it up and could see the gaps were inconsistent with all the panels they replaced. I could see the new radiator was all bent up, led bar not correctly installed, it was a mess. If all that wasn't bad enough, the inside was dirty, like someone literally rolled around in dirt and got in the truck. They also put 30 miles on the truck. Because of what we could see that was wrong, I didn't have confidence in the things we couldn't see. We took the truck to Ford and they directed us to a place they use. The new place confirmed all that we saw and through talking to the general manager we decided to leave the truck there and have them do the work right. Everything on the truck was supposed to be OEM parts, we found out they were not. Panels weren't connected correctly, and some hardware was just completely missing. There was also a chip in the brand-new paint job that Caliber had done. The workmanship (?) was sloppy at best. Because of how poorly Caliber's work was, they had to pay the other company, who did a fantastic job, to do the work right. I think that says it all right there. The other company was professional, asked my kid if he needed a rental, which Caliber did not; it was just an all-around much better experience with the end result of the truck not only looking new, but done correctly. ** Not sure how it has me in CA when I'm here in PA**

They're tenacious advocates when it comes to dealing with insurance companies -- fighting for OEM parts and thoroughly inspecting every inch of the vehicle once it's disassembled to ensure all hidden damage gets properly documented and covered. They also do an excellent job of keeping you updated throughout the process and setting realistic expectations on turnaround time, so there are no surprises.
