(I asked: 1950's I believe) Based on the 5 star reviews I chose to take my Tahoe there after I had been hit on the freeway and had all of my driver's side panels affected. My hood needed repainting so after talking to Vince I decided to have that fixed as well. I spoke with the other driver's insurance, since the accident was not my fault, and secured a rental. After that Vince handled everything: dealing with the insurance company for the damage costs to having Enterprise pick up the vehicle when I came to pick up my Tahoe when the work was complete. As you can see from my photo the paint and damage repairs look great!! They even got out several dings in my hood as well as repaired a gouge in my bumper that I had not even asked to be looked at. It also looks like they shined my rims up as well. I have always taken great care of my Tahoe and to see her restored to looking like new made me an incredibly happy customer. I have used Spring Body Shop twice this year. The first time was to replace a badly damaged skid…read moreplate on my car. I checked a couple of other places. One was the dealership. The other was another local independent body shop. The dealership estimate turned out to be 2 1/2 times more expensive as the Spring Body Shop quote. The independent body shop just looked at the exterior damage and said they couldn't give me a a more accurate estimate until they got it up on a lift to look at it in detail. Based on a recommendation from the place I have the car serviced, I took it to Spring Body Shop. I asked Vince if he could give me an accurate estimate a that time. I told him it was not an insurance claim, and I would pay cash. He took the car to the shop, and they put it up onto a lift. He came back with the estimate and removed as much of the damaged skid plate as possible so I could continue to use the car. Once the necessary parts came in, I took the car back and waited while they installed the new skid plates. The second time included repairing a damaged skid plate. I know, I need to be more careful when parking forward against a curb. Vince said they could just repair the skid plate without having to replace it. I was there a total of about 1 1/2 hours. I stopped by just a dent about a week ago and spoke to Hector about a damage to my rear bumper…read more there was a dent in lower right side and the side portion that goes into the fender had popped out. Hector gave me an estimate between 150 and $350 and said that there would probably still be some damage there and I needed to pick up a couple of brackets at the Lexus store. so I ordered the brackets and they were ready today so I stopped by the store. Hector had given me an estimate of somewhere between maybe an hour and three hours so I was just getting comfortable talking to my friend of mine, when Hector came out and said come and take a look. The dent was almost completely gone. The paint had some ripples in it, and there was some white showing because I'd smashed it pretty well. But the side panel was completely flush brand new. It was amazing how quickly he repaired it. When I asked him how much it was and he replied would be $150 I gave him about three hugs the third one was after he told me he didn't need to use the. brackets that I purchased so now I did Hector save me $200 on his own estimate but the Lexus store took the brackets back without any restocking fee so he saved me another $125!!! My old Lexus looks fantastic. It's got 150,000 and no longer looks like a beater from the back! Hector should be swamped. He's honest he does fantastic work and an incredible price with drive-through speed! If you have a dent you need to go to this place absolutely spectacular!! And tremendous value!!!!

The worst experience ever…read more Before our insurance would allow them to begin repairs on the car, they told me is it would be ready within 11 days. Once that 11th day came, we heard every excuse as to why my car wasn't ready. Finally, they told us that they ordered a part for the car, but it wouldn't arrive until the next day. The next day came and the car wasn't ready. The next day came, but their painting machine broke so I'd have to wait an entire week since they don't work weekends and the paint needs time to rest. They were able to paint my car, but it still needed to be aligned. They ended up losing my keys, costing us another week since this happened on a Friday. Finally they were able to operate on my car's alignment, but they still needed to order the headlight. This ended up lasting 4 weeks for something we were told would last 11 days. On top of that, they also took all of the change in the car, a phone charger, and a cap from my trunk. This is the worst place to take your car too, not to mention their work is crappy. The replacement parts they put on are plated over the original parts and grind against them. Horrible service on all fronts!

Nevertheless, Caliber was close and mostly positive reviews. Kayla, the service advisor, was incredibly helpful and informative and texted us at least once a week with details. Unfortunately there were some hard-to-get parts involved so the car was in a lot longer than we had hoped, but Kayla did a terrific job of keeping us informed about where things stood. Caliber was very helpful with everything including getting the rental arranged and returned and dealing with the other driver's insurance company. Very professional, with a complete, detailed list of parts and labor used provided at the end. The quality of the work was excellent. Over 10 years later, the clear coat came off in some areas and the paint started peeling pretty bad. Fortunately I kept all my paperwork because they were quick to ask for it when I made the call back. I had to go in so they could inspect it. Being near Katy now, this wasn't a leisurely drive over. Long story short, they repainted only where the clear coat failed and not everything they originally fixed. So it looks like I have a brand new hood and fenders but the front bumper looks like its 10 years old. Not entirely happy but I don't have time to complain as the truck was sold. They did match the paint pretty well but I did find some tiny flaws in the paint. Overall I think the work was acceptable minus the half-ass warranty coverage. Keep your paperwork.
