I am a long-time fan of Caliber Collision due to being hit twice while my car was parked if you can believe it. And both times the repair process was easy as pie. And boy are they FAST. So, when I was recently side-swiped by an idiot hauling a trailer that damaged the whole side of my car from back to front bumper, I knew Caliber would take good care of me. But then I found out about their new San Clemente location right near my house so I gave them a shot. I'm SO glad I did. Like always, going to get my initial estimate and then returning to get the repairs done was SUPER fast and easy. The very best part was the STELLAR customer service that Jenn (Office Manager) and Chris (Center Manager) provided every step of the way. I never even had to think about tracking down their phone # to find out what was going on with my car ... because they BOTH took time to call me several times during the repair process to check in and let me know what was happening. I was involved in a hit and run March 9th on el camino real / W Canada St. A charcoal grey Ford Mustang smashed into my rear quarter panel / driver rear passenger door and fled the scene. My insurance referred me to this shop and at the time I didn't care who got it I just wanted it back in perfect condition the next day. Next day bright in early I received a call from a warm and welcoming woman's voice. That angles name is Tanya. Rite then and there I knew I was in good hands. This shop is hands down 100% spot on there game they give you the best costumer service. If they give you a due date for your car, best believe you'll receive it that day! I walked into the shop one day to check on my car and retrieve a couple items I saw the whole shop team in a huddle chanting and shouting looked like a Super Bowl halftime pep talk employees looked really relaxed and looked like they enjoyed working there. This place is fantastic! Amazing customer service from every person I interacted with. Extremely accommodating to all my needs. I'm in the Marine Corps stationed in Camp Pendleton and I was having a hard time getting permission to leave base due to Covid-19, so Lori called the base and ensured that they would be able to come tow my car for me for free. They were also waiving up to $700 of the insurance deductible for all first responders and Lori asked if they could do it for active duty military as well so I wound up not having to pay my $500 deductible. When I got my car back, there was no sign of the original damage, my car was sparkling clean, and they even fixed my driver's side door panel that was starting to pop off at no charge. When I say this place was great, I mean it! They are also very honest, which coming from someone who doesn't know all that much about cars, was incredibly helpful and very nice. read more

I had paint peeling from a manufacture defect, which was past warranty, and Honda was willing to pay a portion of it. Daniel Salgado at Caliber was instrumental at making it all come together with my insurance company, Honda Corporate, Ocean Honda in SJC and the windshield company for a smooth and hassle free job well done. Through Daniel's relationships with all of these companies, I knew I was in good hands every step of the way. After a shocking hit and run event while I was inside a local coffee shop, my car was not not the only wreck! It was so disturbing to know that another driver would damage my car and not even leave a note! Thankfully my insurance company suggested I go to Caliber Collision to have the damage examined and a repair estimate sent to them. I was greeted with kindness and sympathy in addition to a very thorough and professional survey of the damage. A few years ago Caliber worked on my bumper. After seeing the work they did there was no question on where I was taking my SUV to. My hatch needed a new top coat (got stationed in the Middle East and the sun cooked my top coat) and we did some minor damage in Yosemite to my front tires (hey Louisiana folk don't know nothing about tire chains) they not only humored me but made me feel comfortable about the entire situation. The Manager Chris Turpin was outstanding. His crew, Daniel and everyone else who helped put my Wheelchair Accessible Van back together again after a parking lot rear end (which required a new lower bumper and a new upper bumper that needed paint matching. They were kind and respectful and Daniel gave us an estimate that included everything but they were able to reconnect some wires (instead of replacing an entire part) and they came in less than the estimate. I've had three different cars serviced by Caliber Collision in San Clemente... a Audi, BMW & Porsche. The Audi had a smashed driver side door. The BMW had a dent in the rear bumper and the vintage Porsche needed 2 panels color matched to the rest of the car. There is no such thing as calling this place and speaking to a different person every time. Instead, Regan gathered the info, checked the car, presented the estimate, answered all phone calls, ensured the job was fixed properly, and personally picked me up from my house when it came time for me to drive the car home. Upon recommendation I recently had 2 of my vehicles into Caliber in San Clemente. One vehicle, 2017 Explorer had damage to a rear door due to a parking lot accident and the second vehicle a 1996 MERCEDES SL needed repair and restoration painting on both front and rear bumpers. Had a wonderful experience with Osiel in helping get my front bumper replaced after an accident. Only took them four days to complete, had my car ready and washed. He even had a couple scratches touched up that was not related to the accident. The ladies at the front desk were really friendly and helpful.
