I just recently took my brand new Toyota Tundra into OC Auto Collision. My truck had significant damage from enduring a hurricane while we were in Texas. I had already had the damage looked at by my insurance company and was approved a "fixed" amount. When I went into the shop I was a little on edge (as most of us are) fearful I'd be taken for a ride down the "this is gonna cost a lot more then that" road. Sam remained calm and reassuring even though I was saying, "All I really need is a quote." He assured me that he would handle the insurance company if any unforeseen cost came up. He did just that. more damage was discovered in the process of course. Sam got the insurance company to cover it. Not only did he do this but they also finished my truck in what I felt was a timely manner considering the damage my truck had. On top of all this, they washed my truck AND topped it off with gas. I had to return my car to them twice after they "fixed" it. The third time I was still experiencing problems from the original reason I took it to them, I took my car to Pep Boys and they fixed it. On top of it, the second time I took it back they didn't make it a priority and I had to rent a car for a week. I don't think it's asking too much to ask for a current customer, who you didn't completely help the first two times, would be a priority to attend to and fix. Especially after you had already paid in full. They may give you a discount upfront but the few hundred bucks they took off, I paid 3 times as much between additional rental car, taking it to another shop, and major inconvenience during all this time. Use these guys and you'll get less than what you paid for. This is the first poor review I've ever given on Yelp...take this for what it's worth. read more

Took my wife's Tesla to Spectrum Collision as we have used them a couple times before. Surprising non-quotation this time. Customer service gentleman took a good look at it and estimated it a $10,000 but to get a detailed quote we had to provide our insurance information because it "would take a couple hours to put the quote together". Unsaid I guess "you are wasting my time". Also indicated that parts would take several weeks to get and would probably take over a month. Did I mention slightly dented rear quarter panel and minor scratched door edge. Read good reviews for OC Auto Collision. Took the car by on the way home from Spectrum. Troy spent a few minutes looking at it carefully, wrote up a quote for less than 20% of Spectrum and said it would take 4 days for the repair. Brought the car in on Monday, it was complete on time on Thursday afternoon. Very nice repair. I took our 2010 Toyota in a few years ago because the clear coat was damaged and missing on the hood and roof and they did an awesome job. The clear coat started to come off the rest of the car and I had them repaint the newly damaged areas and it looks like a brand new car. I just left OC Auto collision and I couldn't be more happier. This last week I scuffed up my bumper on my four month old model 3 really bad and thought it was scratched. I used a little toothpaste to take off the other cars paint but there were still marks left so I thought I had exposed the undercoat. I stopped by for an estimate. Troy took a look and thought it could just be buffed out. He called one of the techs out. Ten minutes later, looked great! With only some minor scratches left. Total cost- zero. I also have some scratches on the bottom of my bumper due to not having driven such a low car which I will get fixed later. His estimate for that repair was about half as much as A local competitor and maybe about a third of Tesla's. I will definitely be back. Thanks Caveat- I have used OC collision for insurance work in the past but has been over ten years so I don't think they would remember me. read more

I had two cars fixed here and the service was above and beyond on both. One was formerly an elderly person's car that had pretty extensive mystery damage, and Alex was great at working with the insurance company to figure out claims and coverage. What wasn't covered we paid cash to fix and felt it was a fair deal. Overall a very pleasant experience with something that is generally a huge hassle. I recommend this place to family and friends. Hopefully I won't *need* to get more body work done anytime soon, but if I do I'll go back to RSI. read more

Save yourself time and headache and take your car somewhere else!! I am not sure where to start, from their dishonesty and unprofessionalism or the lack of communication and unorganized shop. And the icing on the top would be bad mouthing and yelling the owner and the staff when you try to resolve the issue. I took my car there for repair and they told me that they would have the car ready by Tuesday, I called Tuesday and they told me that the part was not ready and I can take the care Thursday or Friday the most, when I called Friday, they are telling me that part is on back order, I called dealership and asked if I can get the same part that they are talking about, they say that I can have it next day!!! I am not sure where they are ordering the parts from or they just forgot to order, but I know for sure that this job could be done in a couple of days at any other body shop, the worst part is they never gave me a call to give an update, each time I had to call and each time they would tell me that they call me, but of course they never do. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself money and time!! read more

Would give negative stars if I could. After repairing cosmetic damage to the back of my vehicle and them replacing my bumper, my back up sensors did not work properly after picking my car up from their shop. Instead of fixing it or paying Mazda to fix it, they tried to tell me I had "after market sensors". I told them that was not the case and I bought my car new. The service manager at Mazda called them to verify they were not after market and they said they would not pay for my repairs. There was now a short in the wire harness that did not exist before. Sensor and wire harness kit worked fine before I took it to them and now I have had to pay Mazda around $950 to correct the problem. I tried to call OC Auto to notify them that I intend to take them to small claims court and give them a chance to pay for the damage to my car and they stopped picking up the phone when I called. Very dishonest practices and I will be reaching out to the better business bureau as well as filing a small claims dispute. They pretended to want to help at first, then basically tried to tell me my car had after market parts because they couldn't fix the sensors so that they worked properly. Not cool at all. Save your money snd go elsewhere. I will never take my car here and if this review saves someone some money and heartache, it has served its purpose. read more

He stuck with his estimate and worked with me to keep the costs down as my repair was not insurance work. Besides the body work, we needed a key replaced. Instead of sticking me with going between two shops, he took it to a local locksmith on his lunch break for me. He even gave me a tip on another vendor that could help with something they didn't do. A few years ago I found Tag and Co. while looking for a used car. They were helpful and provided some useful information. So I took a mental note (and a business card) of the shop. Almost a year ago I had a minor, non-urgent repair, so I went there and got a quote from Troy. Soon after he told me the parts were on back order (which was true at the time), and he would call me when the parts became available. He never called. Instead, I called every few months to follow up, and was always given the same response. Since it had been almost a year, I decided to call a dealership and found that the parts can be available the next day. With that information, I called OC Auto Collision again, and Tag said he would have Troy look into it and call me back. I had to call again, and Troy gave a stupid reason why the parts are not available (they buy from a different dealership), said he was with a customer, and would call me back. Of course he never did. These people are unprofessional, not at all what they seemed back during that first encounter. read more

Also, I brought my car in a little later than they were expecting. Julie and Tag tracked down one of their guys who was still working and asked him to stay, which he did.
