I rarely submit reviews, but my recent experience here warranted an exception. I brought in my Acura with minor damage to the front bumper and driver-side trim molding. Not only was the repair expertly executed, but the entire process was remarkably refreshing. The owner, Max, is an exceptionally honest individual, characterized by a complete absence of upselling or pressure. His approach is defined by genuine care and a commitment to quality service. His team consistently delivers outstanding results; the repair was flawless, the paint matching impeccable, and the work was completed promptly and at a very competitive price. My vehicle now appears as good as new. I highly recommend OC Auto Collision in San Clemente for anyone seeking high-quality local workmanship and ethical service. I would not consider going anywhere else. My sincere thanks to Max and his team. read more

Got a nasty scratch on the rear quarter panel of my Audi Q3 recently. Got four quotes from local shops and Max gave me the best pricing of all. Quoted 3 days to turn it around and got it done closer to two. Very pleased with the end result, looks good as new. read more

These guys did a great job on my car. It has been a few years since the work was done and every thing is still perfect

So happy with this business. My daughter had her first mishap with her Toyota Tacoma recently. They quoted a good price and kept us informed on the progress and it was expertly fixed. Unfortunately, a week later she was hit and the truck suffered damage in a different area. Again, they quoted a price half of what others would charge, we dropped it off and they made it a priority to fix for my daughter and it was done in 3 days! Thank you so much...you guys are awesome! read more

Tag and Troy at OC Collision in Laguna Niguel were great to work with : efficient professionals who went above and beyond to fix the damage. Now my car looks better than it has in years & I'm very grateful and very appreciative. read more

The service was great. I loved how fast they were and they gave a good price. I will come here from now on all the time.

I accidentally wrote a bad review for this location. The other one has the same exact name but is in Laguna Niguel and is terrible. THIS one ( San Clemente) even though I didn't get service here offered to fix my dashboard for free which the other store messed up. That speaks volumes about how this business runs and their customer service. I will definitely bring my car to this location for future services. read more

Highly recommend this place. Sam and his team did an amazing job fixing our teslas front bumper and headlights. They also make their own paint and can match your car original paint through their tech. 5/5 stars!! read more

OC Auto Collision did an awesome job repairing my Toyota Tacoma. The quality of work, value and service was fantastic. The insurance company planned to total my vehicle but they made sure that wasn't going to happen. The staff; Tag, Troy, Andres, and woman in the office were a pleasure to work with from getting the estimate to sourcing the parts, completing the repair, and communicating with the insurance company. They even touched up areas of paint on my vehicle that were not involved in the accident. The service is unparalleled. I highly recommend this shop. read more

Five Stars services. The owner Mr. Tag always talks personally with customers and provide an estimate before hand. He is very kind person, and I felt he tried his best to offer better prices. I got 3 estimates from another repair shops, and OC Auto Collision's estimate is almost half of their competitors. And they did the perfect jobs within half of the time that another competitors need. I can say for sure this is the best Auto Collision shop to go. read more

The service was outstanding, they gave me a heads up about pretty much anything that was happening with insurance and time. They repainted my whole front bumper and it looks like it's brand new. So I gotta give credit to the whole team and Gerson who is the painter that took care of me. Honestly 10/10 read more

Very professional and kind. Ted is an amazing owner. Their job is very clean and fair price.!

I just recently took my brand new Toyota Tundra into OC Auto Collision. My truck had significant damage from enduring a hurricane while we were in Texas. I had already had the damage looked at by my insurance company and was approved a "fixed" amount. When I went into the shop I was a little on edge (as most of us are) fearful I'd be taken for a ride down the "this is gonna cost a lot more then that" road. Sam remained calm and reassuring even though I was saying, "All I really need is a quote." He assured me that he would handle the insurance company if any unforeseen cost came up. He did just that. more damage was discovered in the process of course. Sam got the insurance company to cover it. Not only did he do this but they also finished my truck in what I felt was a timely manner considering the damage my truck had. On top of all this, they washed my truck AND topped it off with gas. I will absolutely be recommending Sam and his shop to anyone who needs Autobody repairs. Thank you very much for not traumatizing me and for reigniting my faith in the automotive industry Sam! We are extremely happy and grateful we found you! read more

Sideswiped and dented my brand new car :( but thankfully OC Auto Collision fixed it! Excellent and easy experience!! They gave us a very reasonable quote- much lower than other body shops in the LN area. Dropped our car off the following week and they had it done a day early! Their work was perfect, everyone we talked to was kind and communicative. Hopefully we won't need to come back anytime soon, but definitely will be back if any repairs are needed in the future. Highly recommend! read more

Very rude, and unprofessional people. Especially the guy by the name, Troy! He needs to take some anger management courses! He has some serious personality issues! Aside from that, they are a ripoff! They give me a price for my car to fix it and I even had the paperwork & the day I went to pick up my car they add more cost to my original invoice without telling me ahead of time! So be careful. I would not recommend anyone to this place! I would give this place -5 rating! read more

OC Auto Collision - Before and After. As if nothing ever happened! - Body Shops Near Me - San Clemente, California

Took my wife's Tesla to Spectrum Collision as we have used them a couple times before. Surprising non-quotation this time. Customer service gentleman took a good look at it and estimated it a $10,000 but to get a detailed quote we had to provide our insurance information because it "would take a couple hours to put the quote together". Unsaid I guess "you are wasting my time". Also indicated that parts would take several weeks to get and would probably take over a month. Did I mention slightly dented rear quarter panel and minor scratched door edge. Read good reviews for OC Auto Collision. Took the car by on the way home from Spectrum. Troy spent a few minutes looking at it carefully, wrote up a quote for less than 20% of Spectrum and said it would take 4 days for the repair. Brought the car in on Monday, it was complete on time on Thursday afternoon. Very nice repair. We found the team to be friendly and accommodating ... quite different than a couple of the review above. Will be back! Thanks Troy. The Model 3 looks great again. read more

I had to return my car to them twice after they "fixed" it. The third time I was still experiencing problems from the original reason I took it to them, I took my car to Pep Boys and they fixed it. On top of it, the second time I took it back they didn't make it a priority and I had to rent a car for a week. I don't think it's asking too much to ask for a current customer, who you didn't completely help the first two times, would be a priority to attend to and fix. Especially after you had already paid in full. They may give you a discount upfront but the few hundred bucks they took off, I paid 3 times as much between additional rental car, taking it to another shop, and major inconvenience during all this time. Use these guys and you'll get less than what you paid for. This is the first poor review I've ever given on Yelp...take this for what it's worth. read more

I just left OC Auto collision and I couldn't be more happier. This last week I scuffed up my bumper on my four month old model 3 really bad and thought it was scratched. I used a little toothpaste to take off the other cars paint but there were still marks left so I thought I had exposed the undercoat. I stopped by for an estimate. Troy took a look and thought it could just be buffed out. He called one of the techs out. Ten minutes later, looked great! With only some minor scratches left. Total cost- zero. I also have some scratches on the bottom of my bumper due to not having driven such a low car which I will get fixed later. His estimate for that repair was about half as much as A local competitor and maybe about a third of Tesla's. I will definitely be back. Thanks Caveat- I have used OC collision for insurance work in the past but has been over ten years so I don't think they would remember me. read more

I had two cars fixed here and the service was above and beyond on both. One was formerly an elderly person's car that had pretty extensive mystery damage, and Alex was great at working with the insurance company to figure out claims and coverage. What wasn't covered we paid cash to fix and felt it was a fair deal. Overall a very pleasant experience with something that is generally a huge hassle. I recommend this place to family and friends. Hopefully I won't *need* to get more body work done anytime soon, but if I do I'll go back to RSI. read more

Save yourself time and headache and take your car somewhere else!! I am not sure where to start, from their dishonesty and unprofessionalism or the lack of communication and unorganized shop. And the icing on the top would be bad mouthing and yelling the owner and the staff when you try to resolve the issue. I took my car there for repair and they told me that they would have the car ready by Tuesday, I called Tuesday and they told me that the part was not ready and I can take the care Thursday or Friday the most, when I called Friday, they are telling me that part is on back order, I called dealership and asked if I can get the same part that they are talking about, they say that I can have it next day!!! I am not sure where they are ordering the parts from or they just forgot to order, but I know for sure that this job could be done in a couple of days at any other body shop, the worst part is they never gave me a call to give an update, each time I had to call and each time they would tell me that they call me, but of course they never do. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself money and time!! read more

Totally unprofessional. They caused damage for the car. They didnot keep their word of what they will be doing for the car. The people seems to be on drugs and they are unorganized. Lots of delay. Avoid this place of all cases. They worth suing if you have the time. if there was a negative star I would have added it read more

Would give negative stars if I could. After repairing cosmetic damage to the back of my vehicle and them replacing my bumper, my back up sensors did not work properly after picking my car up from their shop. Instead of fixing it or paying Mazda to fix it, they tried to tell me I had "after market sensors". I told them that was not the case and I bought my car new. The service manager at Mazda called them to verify they were not after market and they said they would not pay for my repairs. There was now a short in the wire harness that did not exist before. Sensor and wire harness kit worked fine before I took it to them and now I have had to pay Mazda around $950 to correct the problem. I tried to call OC Auto to notify them that I intend to take them to small claims court and give them a chance to pay for the damage to my car and they stopped picking up the phone when I called. Very dishonest practices and I will be reaching out to the better business bureau as well as filing a small claims dispute. They pretended to want to help at first, then basically tried to tell me my car had after market parts because they couldn't fix the sensors so that they worked properly. Not cool at all. Save your money snd go elsewhere. I will never take my car here and if this review saves someone some money and heartache, it has served its purpose. read more

Found RSI on Yelp and was glad I did! Like most of the other reviewers, I agree, Alex is a great guy that knows what customer service is. Very friendly, but still professional. He stuck with his estimate and worked with me to keep the costs down as my repair was not insurance work. Besides the body work, we needed a key replaced. Instead of sticking me with going between two shops, he took it to a local locksmith on his lunch break for me. He even gave me a tip on another vendor that could help with something they didn't do. I'll be back for any other paint and body work needed and I'd recommend him to anyone. read more
