Two guys showed up and worked their butts off for over two hours and gave my sweet girl a full detail. They showed me every scratch and blemish. In fact, they pointed out to me a chip at the very top of the windshield that I did not notice when I bought it so I reached out to the dealership I bought it from and they said they were going to fill in the crack for me and to come into the dealership anytime. I wouldn't have seen it without these guys. I tipped them well and then the owner messaged me and sent me the invoice and I paid immediately. I had taken my vehicle to over six body shops in the area to request an inspection and quote for repairs. Out of all six shops, CARSTAR Lake Forest had the most affordable pricing- even for OEM parts and labor. Compared to other shops in the area, they also had the fastest turnaround time, which was important to me since I didn't have insurance to cover a rental. The process was really simple. I went in, someone assessed my vehicle and provided a printed quote. Since I was going through with insurance, once the claim was filed and the quote was submitted, I scheduled a time to drop off my vehicle. The turnaround was about a week, whereas other shops were saying it'd be roughly two weeks. They were able to continually keep me in the loop regarding repairs via text and calls, so I was really appreciative of the communication. The cherry on top would be the day of pickup. CARSTAR was kind enough to provide a complimentary car washing service, which included the interior as well! This auto body shop definitely goes above and beyond for their customers. I was extremely happy and content with their level of professionalism, workmanship, and customer service. Having a shop that was able to contact me via text (since I am very busy) was a plus!
