After having our VW rear ended, Edgar and Caliber Collision repaired the damage. The rear end now looks brand new plus all the sensors that needed to be replaced and fine tuned are all back to normal. Edgar provided frequent updates as to the status of the repairs. The whole Caliber Team was always friendly and professional. There is also an Enterprise Rent a Car on site that comes in handy. Take away the stress of having your car repaired by simply taking it to Caliber Collision and you will not be disappointed. read more

My car was hit by a huge piece of tire and sustained almost $5,800 in damage. My insurance company referred me to several body shops. I chose Caliber Collision on Indiana. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. They were very quick to schedule a time for my estimate. There, I met Edgar Zamora. This man is amazing! He gave me the estimate and a time to bring the vehicle in. I don't have rental car coverage and so being without my car for the estimated 2 to 2 1/2 weeks they were thinking it was going to take is overwhelming for me. Edgar reassured me that he would do everything he could to get it done more quickly. I have been experiencing some health problems and he was very compassionate and very considerate. He stayed in contact with me every bit of the way throughout my car's repair. I never felt like I didn't know what was going on. He told me that he would do his best to get it done and he did. I was originally told that my car would not be done until after July 4. He called me on June 29 and said my car was ready for pick up. Every interaction I had with him was extremely professional and kind. I went and paid my deductible and was able to get my car with absolutely no trouble whatsoever - the car is beautiful and completely restored. They even detailed the inside. But again, I feel like Edgar Zamora really went above and beyond to make sure that my needs were met. I would highly recommend caliber collision to anybody based on my experience with him. read more

I brought my car to our local Calliber Collision office in Indio, CA and they informed me that since it was a high end car it had to be transported to this Riverside location because they had the equipment to analyze the damage. I called them after the car was transported to their location and spoke with Edgar. He was extremely helpful in getting this taken care of in a timely manner. Unfortunately, they decided that there was too much damage to fix it so he informed my insurance company it should be a total loss. He handled all the correspondence and it was a pleasure not having to deal with all the issues that can occur with this type of situation. My thanks to him and everyone else at this location that assisted. read more

I wanted to take a moment to personally write a much deserved THANK YOU to "Mr. Jay Urieta" for all the times he and Caliber Collision displayed above and beyond service and care throughout the process of my vehicle being repaired in a manner that keeps the consideration of the customer in mind as top priority. Life is good when you have people you can trust to provide excellent outcomes (fix and restore my car to pre-accident condition and like new) and treat me like first class with daily status updates while answering any question I had from start to finish. Once again, highly recommend. A+++ (honest, prompt, integrity, phenomenal customer service) read more

I had an appointment with the AAA appraiser, but 10 minutes after checking in the receptionist finally called my appraiser for the appointment. During that time she was talking with coworkers. When I pointed out how long I had been waiting, the other receptionist popped off about how long things took to enter into the computer. They forgot all my info was already in the system. AAA will now pay for the other shop they approved to fix it. Bad service if you can't get passed the receptionist after making an appointment 6 hours earlier. They must have business to spare. Look for a shop that wants your business. read more

This place was amazing. I haven't really had to deal with auto body repair shops in the past (one time in the 90's) but that was too long ago to remember. This place was over and above from what I expected. Only drawback was it was a bit far from my house (but I'm glad I chose them). The receptionist was super nice and great communication. Ryan the tech who went over the repair with me was awesome as well. The text communication throughout the process letting me know the steps was a plus. Overall if I ever get into another accident I will definitely be coming back to this place. read more

This place was packed! Seriously I couldnt even find a place to park at first. I thought it would take forever just to get them to look at my car but they left me waiting only about 5 minutes. My FJ only had a minor problem -my license plate fell off and there was an issue reattaching it. For some reason, everywhere else I called said they couldn't handle it and suggested that I go to a body shop. I went in and they not only helped me right away, they didn't even charge me! Thank you for the awesome service! I told all my friends the story and would not hesitate to use your services in the future! read more

Honest and friendly. Edgar helped me and was great. My neighbors palm frond scratched the side of my week old car. He told me he thought it may be able to be buffed out. He had detail department come out and he proceeded to buff the scratches that ran down the side of the car, they all buffed out. No charge and I was able to drop the insurance claim. I will come back if I ever need them again! Side note: the receptionist was also friendly and willing to negotiate with the two claims I had to work with. My neighbors home owners and my car insurance. Great job Caliber! read more

He is very professional, informative and helpful. The moment that I started this process I was helped by ALL staff. The receptionists are very welcoming and greet everyone that walks in. Two of the other Service Advisors that were just walking by made sure that I had already been helped, they offered me water and just made sure I was taken care of. Edgar made sure to keep me informed with each step being done to my vehicle and followed through with everything that he said he would do. When it came time to picking up my vehicle, his courteous manners remained, he made sure he opened each door, helped me put my belongings back in the car..... JUST GREAT!!!! I was a victim of a rear-end and side hit and run and had damages that required replacing and painting the parts. It was convenient taking it to Caliber on Indiana Ave. as they have rental cars on site, Enterprise Rentals. They only needed 2 to three days to perform the work. They did a great job, you can't tell the Crosstrek XV had been hit. It was more scraping and dislocating the parts, not smashing. From the receptionists to the other workers, they all were kind, understanding, as fast as possible and very respectful. Seriously, the auto looks fantastic, good as new and my insurance covered all costs. I carry uninsured motorists and caught accident on my dash cam. I feel very fortunate for both the dash cam and Caliber Collision. They are an excellent crew that work as a team. read more

I am not usually the type to write a review, but because of my entire experience from beginning to end with Caliber Collision, i was compelled to give them a shout out. About 3 weeks ago i brought my car to Caliber Collision. From the very beginning they were very accommodating and and answered all my questions. I was assigned Rick Diaz as my direct contact. Let me tell you, this man had the most amazing follow up I have ever experienced when dealing with an auto repair establishment. Rick always called when he said he would, he was always very pleasant, there was never a time that i was unable to reach him when giving him a return phone call. He always made himself available. That alone is rare to find. I picked up my car today, he was generally and sincerely happy to see me and asked about my Thanksgiving! He is a person that actually cares and it shows in the way that he conducts himself with his clients, but with his co workers as well. I would recommend Caliber Collision in Riverside which is on Indiana Avenue to anyone that asks me about a repair shop. And i will definately use them in the future if I need to. Thank you Rick and everyone and Caliber Collision for a wonderful experience all around. Its truly appreciated! Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!!! read more

AVOID this facility! I had a 2003 Trailblazer that was hit in the front end and needed a front bumper replacement and a left side panel. My estimated time was supposed to be 2 - 4 weeks. Six weeks later, I get a call saying the car is ready. Then I find out that the insurance company only pays for up to four weeks. Caliber Collision's technician Armando reassured me by telephone that the insurance company (All State) would be obligated to pay for the rental car. NOPE! I got stuck with an overage of two solid weeks, totaling almost $400!!! And Caliber, what do they offer? To help me with $150 of the $400 in overage costs. I suppose it's their way of tricking a consumer into letting them have all the time in the world to repair a car. But to give false advice? UNFORGIVABLE! And to make matters worse, when I did get my car back it was overheating in the red line. I couldn't figure out what could have possibly changed since I took the car in. So I check under my hood, and to my horror, I see that there are loose hoses, a couple of large rubber caps tucked next to my battery compartment, and worse--my radiator and reservoir are BONE EMPTY! I may have to worry about a blown head gasket now. My question is this: if they were doing exterior body repair, why ON EARTH did they disconnect hoses and rubber bushings and leave them in pocket areas under my hood? Again, DO NOT USE THIS "repair center"!!! read more

I took my last car here in 2004 and got GREAT service and attention. I took my truck in on Friday 8/25/17 and was promised a phone call by Monday 8/28/17 and I have not heard from them yet. Well ..All I can say is I hope and pray that you yelp 1st.. Save yourself this is not the place you want your car repaired at. Used /New car got hit. Audi.. I somehow ended up here.. Sucks to be me !!! Lets just say the car drove and felt better wrecked. After they took it apart allegedly fixed it.. grunts and growls from driving over a reflector on the road. A small bump sounds and feels like a mini wreck. I had to ask if they forgot a wheel alignment. Fast forward needs all new suspension components, tie rod end control arm bushing and ball joint.. I was given an estimate of $1800 bucks on a car that I had not even made its 1st car payment on... The suspension specialist shop said I should have it inspected by the state of CA and sue.. DONT... repeat DONT use this place !!!!!! read more

I wanted to take a moment to thank Armando Hernandez for providing me with excellent service! I had my Infinity SUV damaged and he kept me informed daily about the progress, parts, extras and estimated time for pick up. He also had me come in well in advance so he could order the parts then call me to actually bring my car in to avoid extra rental car costs. That meant a lot to me. He never made me feel bad for having to cut costs wherever possible. Thank you Armando! Oh and my car looks brand new! The workmanship at Caliber is top notch! read more

Excellent service and FAST! I am writing this review for my husband, who does not have an account. His car was struck by an object on the freeway just last weekend and damaged the front bumper of his car. Luckily, insurance covered the damages and referred caliber collision as a reputable repair shop to fix the damage. We went to the location on Indiana and Arlington in Riverside and were promptly helped by our service rep, Edgar Zamora. He was professional and to the point. He asked how he can best communicate with my husband, and advised he can call or send text messages. This was handy as we find texting to be more convenient through the day, as so many of us do. I did not see Edgar again but my husband did, and stated that he was excellent about communicating via calls and texts, and got his car done "crazy fast" (less than 5 days start to finish and the car looks like new!). This place is AAA certified and does a great job and in a hurry. Would recommend this facility to anyone trying to get their car back on the road without any drama! read more

Why did I go back here ??? Why ?? I took my vehicle last Friday to get inspected and the mercury agent was out to lunch so another employee took the pictures and made the report. My insurance agent called on Monday and they told her that I never went . Pretty disappointing experience. I was rear ended and my insurance was covering the repairs. I chose Caliber since they are backed by my insurance, any work is covered for the life of my vehicle, and because of the great reviews on Yelp. I made an appointment to drop the vehicle off and the adjuster confirmed a rental at Enterprise (which is on the same property). I arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early to watch several people walk in after me without appointments and get helped before me. Over 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment, after patiently waiting and watching the waiting room fill with people and then emptied twice, I finally asked the receptionist when I'd be helped. She snapped back with 'take a seat, we'll be with you shortly'. So I did. 5 minutes later I was finally called up. The rep walked me to my car to review the damage (which in total took maybe less than 10 minutes). We agreed on most things and I reminded him, I was rear ended, please fix anything that looks related to the accident. He said it wouldn't be a problem. I was then told to wait some more as he got the paperwork together. During that time I went to get the rental situated. Since I had been passed up by so many others at Caliber, my wait was then extended for obtaining the rental car due to everyone else already in line to get their rental. Overall the ordeal of dropping off my car was over 2.5 hours with an appointment. Which is just outrageous and nuts. Upon picking up the vehicle, I asked my husband to join me, since I felt that the drop off had a little bit of a 'you're a female, don't worry Hun - we'll take care of it' attitude. And I am so glad he accompanied me. They required that I signed off on the work prior to seeing the car, which was odd, but I figured there's a lifetime warranty so why not. When we finally got to see the car, the trunk deck lid was still crooked and there were marks and scuffed paint near the license plate. The employee said he'd work on the misaligned deck lid, but the other markings weren't agreed to upon prior inspection. He wanted to argue about it. I'm not sure what the miscommunication was, when I said I was rear ended, fix anything associated with the accident. My car was pretty clean (even told so by two separate dealerships), so I wanted my car back to how it was prior to the accident. My husband had been quiet during most of this, but finally had to speak up and get them to correct the noticeable errors. He said he could just buff it out. We waited about 30 minutes and during this time we got to witness how rude the staff was to another customer. The front desk, manager, and adjustment agent were all extremely unprofessional, even if the customer was being difficult. This was a bit concerning, but I wasn't surprised after what I had experienced. When the car was completed the second time, we were presented with extra paint which I'm not sure if it was leftover from the markings that were just pointed out, or leftover from the bumper being repainted, either way, it was a nice surprise. At the end of the transaction, the rep I felt became a little condescending when I asked my husband if he was okay with the work (he has experience with body work and paint), and the rep remarked 'as long as it's good with the boss'. Not okay. Then kept asking me if I was happy with the experience hinting that he wanted a good review. By this time it was too late to make up for the questionable treatment. I may return to this location if involved in another accident, but only because of the warranty and because of the good experience with Enterprise. Recap of why I gave only 2 stars: * 2.5 hours to drop off car and get a rental with an appointment * Staff was rude to me (other customers told this as well, both visits) * Being made to sign off on the vehicle and work prior to seeing it * Arguing with me about quality of work and what was agreed to be fixed * Watching multiple staff members be rude to other customers - zero customer service skills. read more
