Although it may take a while for the repairs on your vehicle, Caliber Collision did a fantastic job and had great customer service! I didn't particularly like their phone etiquette (I'm sure they were just very busy and I'm a chatter box) however through their text message option for updates they were very prompt, polite, and friendly! Michelle was awesome at communicating with us and keeping us updated. And I must admit, our car drives WAY smoother now than it did before the collision! You can't even tell where the wreck was on our vehicle, it's so seamless and dare I say perfect (and I'm super picky over minuscule details). I'm so happy that USAA recommended this place to us. Even though it may take a couple of weeks to get in, they will definitely take care of you and make the whole process as easy and stress free as possible! Thank you to everyone who worked on our vehicle, you guys are awesome! read more

Caliber did a great job on our collision repair! Our sedan was rear-ended, and our insurance agent sent us to Caliber. Damage was "medium", with many broken components and severe damage on the bumper, rear hatch door and quarter panel. They fixed it up absolutely beautifully - no one would even be aware that there was any damage. Taylor was our company contact for the repair. She was totally on top of everything, highly professional, and made the entire experience pleasant. We strongly recommend Caliber and Taylor. read more

Great group of people working there Erwin made my experience seamless. Called and took care of the rental car and kept me updated on every step of the way. Best customer service I've had in a long time. The repairs looked like the accident never happened. Even vacuumed out my truck. I would recommend them to everyone. Thanks for the great service. Best customer service ever. Floyd, Sara and The manager (forgot his name) were the best. Car repair was great and the customer service was unbelievable. If you have a business go askj them about customer service, it is almost non-existant these days, but they have it figured out. read more

Terrible customer service and follow up, they (management gives minimal effort) will sell you the be sales pitch of "restoring our customers quality of life". Timothy Ruff was the minimum effort manager who has plenty of excuses and no accountability. Save your time and go to a local shop not a national chain because these guys just want your ins companies $. read more

Caliber worked on my car for a few weeks after it got rear ended. They did an outstanding job! And although The tire they replaced turned out to be the wrong size, within 5 minutes of calling them they had arranged a new tire for me at Les Schwab. George is great-couldn't be happier with the work they did on my vehicle and how they kept me up to date throughout the process. Update: Les Schwab refused to replace my tire, so caliber arranged for some of their guys to come pick my car up from work and they replaced the tire for me, then brought my car back to me. All smiles and courtesy! They are truly service oriented. read more

I come home to my car window completely down without anyway to get it up. I called caliber collision to get some guidance to see if they could fix it. I'm having an obviously bad day and the man on the phone treated me like a dumbass as if I didn't know what I was talking about. I don't know anything about cars and I just needed some help which I didn't receive from caliber collision. read more

I cannot put into words how wonderful this business and the people there are. I brought my car in with a broken window and was very upset because I didn't think I cannot afford anything. They were very helpful and nice and made the process very simple and fast. I will definitely come here for any work done on my vehicle! ! :) love these guys read more

I highly recommend this place to anyone without hesitation. Excellent Customer Service!! Kudos to Ms Sydney.. who updated me EVERYDAY, as to the progress of my car repair. To Steve, the manager, for stepping up and arranging for my last day of car rental since my car wasn't ready as they expected and i had returned my car rental already. You guys are awesome and very professional!! I can't thank you enough for a very EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT job!! read more

I brought my brand new car to Caliber after I got rear ended just 2 days after I bought her. Stuff happens, but I had the hardest time figuring out who was the best auto body repair center in Reno. After much research, reviews & family recommendations, I brought my girl to Caliber. I am so not disappointed! Stacy was professional and informative throughout the process (as well as all of the team at Caliber) of repairing my car. I never had to call them to find out what was going on with my car and any questions I had where answered .... instead of the "I don't know, I'll get back to you" kind of crap. What was really awesome other than having my car repaired to like brand new, was that they did it quickly and on time as they promised. She looks just like the day I drove her off the lot! Oh, and if you have a rental car (depending on the company) you can just leave your rental car there and then they have it returned!! No hassles, I loved it. One last thing, I asked if they would put my license plate on for me (I had just got it) and no problem, so the extra service was greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!! I honestly hope I never have to see them again, but I would definitely recommend them if your looking for high quality auto body repair and excellent customer service! read more

Great experience at Caliber. The work all looked great and my truck is back looking new again. Erwin provided great service. You don't necessarily expect great device from a body shop, you expect great work and average service. But Erwin helped get me a ride, gave me a good deal, kept in constant communication throughout the repairs and helped me clear up a small issue with another vendor. He did all this with a smile and great attitude. I will definitely go back here when needed and recommend them to all my friends. read more

I wish I could give this place 100 stars! Everyone I came in contact with are amazing especially Stacy Luke! I had an issue with my ford ranger and he did not hesitate to help me! I just moved here and made me feel so comfortable and beyond happy I chose this body shop! read more

These guys are terrific! I was very pleased with their work. They under-promised and over-delivered, which made my life much easier. They recognize the inconvenience of having to leave a vehicle for repairs for several days and were attuned to my needs while completing the work properly and professionally. Hopefully, I won't have to return, but if I ever need body and paint work again, I will use Caliber Collision. I highly recommend these guys! read more

Being in a crash sucks. It is stressful, time consuming and overall a pain in the butt. As a person who has been in two car accidents lately (and two more last year). I can say that the stress of a car accident is enough to drive someone crazy. I have been so lucky to have found Caliber Collision. The work they did on my car is wonderful. Where they really won me over is their costumer service and their great attention to detail. They were extremely friendly and super nice. They kept me notified the whole time on what was going on with my car. The whole process, start to finish, was a breath of fresh air in a time of craziness. This is my second time using their business (last time I was in Sparks), and the professionalism shown by both places was fantastic, polite, and quick without skipping on the high quality of work. I highly recommend Caliber Collision. read more

I was in an accident and when it came time in picking an auto-body shop from a list my insurance company gave me, I chose Caliber Collision in Reno based off of their reviews. I will say I am VERY picky and I wanted quality work done. I know I was not their only customer but they treated me as if I was. My vehicle did take some time but it was done right (not their fault). My vehicle was a headache and trying to get parts that were discontinued was a pain. They busted their butts in getting my vehicle done even when the shop was getting remodeled and low staffed. Everyone from the office staff to the guys in the shop showed me nothing but respect and great customer service ! I truly recommend them to anyone needing work done to their vehicle(s). read more

I was scheduled to drop my car off for repairs today and when I got there, they had no record of the appointment and actually tried to make it sound like it was my error. I even had a rental car waiting. They gave me a story about being over capacity. Why then did they make the appointment in the first place??!!?? read more

Visiting from out of town, this place was recommended by my insurance company, USAA. The whole experience was positive, the end result was fantastic. Unfortunately the first time it came out of the shop, they were unable to fix the dents in my door. To their credit, they completely replace the door at no additional cost to me. The paint and blending was perfect, looks brand new. Thanks for standing behing your satisfaction guarantee. read more

I was rear ended on Pyramid just after Thanksgiving. I took my Jeep to Caliber where my entire back end was replaced. I was assured they checked the muffler and exhaust system. Less than 24 hours later my check engine light came on from my exhaust so I returned to Caliber. They told me it had nothing to do with the accident so I took it to a muffler shop. There they actually looked at the exhaust and found not only was there a crack in my exhaust manifold but Caliber had leaned my muffler on my plastic bumper! I was breathing carbon monoxide and my bumper was melting! I will never recommend Caliber for any type of repair. read more

They fixed my beautiful car and had amazing service. Jose was very helpful and I will be going back if anything happens again!

I was told about Caliber Collision by an acquaintance and am so happy I took my van to them. They were friendly and courteous. I could not leave it at the time of my estimate so made an appointment for a later date. I only had to wait 1 1/2 days for the damage to my hood to be repaired. They really expedited the repair for me. The van looks just great. I don't really want to have any more damage to my vehicle, but if that does happen; I will take it to Caliber on Harvard. read more

If you need to get your car fixed, this IS the place to go! I normally get all my maintenance done a GMC Buick Cadillac of Reno, which is right in front of Caliber! Although they are great with my maintenance; they let my car sit for a week. Then My adjuster had it sent over to Caliber and they finished everything in three days!!! Along with them washing my car, they also vacuumed the inside! I was very satisified. Staci is the Man! Thanks again! This is the only place to go when you need a repair. read more

. I will confess I'm not the world's greatest driver. So when I got into an accident that wasn't my fault, I was relieved that the other parties insurance was going to take care of the damage. I was on the phone talking with the insurance agent and they were giving me names of their preferred providers. I immediately went to yelp and looked at the reviews of the names they gave me. Caliber Collision was the name of the game! There are two locations; I chose the one on 935 Harvard Way. Wow they are amazing! They helped me with my rental, when Hertz was out of cars, they call the insurance company requesting that it be changed to enterprise, and I was taken care of. Caliber gave me an estimate of when my car would be done and sent me text message on the progress. I also had some blemishes in the paint that was not covered by the insurance, I asked if they would buff them out for me and I would cover the cost. They did it for free!!! My car came home looking brand new again. They also detailed the inside of car...it was scary I have 3 kids. Calibers customer service and professionalism is top notch. I would take my cars there again. read more

They have nothing but lie to me. I took my car into Caliber on Jan 11 after an accident. I received an email from Lindsay a day or so later wit the cost to repair an day my car would be ready. Here we are in Feb and still my car is not ready. Every time I have talked to them I am told a different story starting with couldn't get over the pass...Ok I will give them that one, but the roads have been clear now and the excuses keep coming like that part is on back order, we forgot to order the clip, we are waiting for a hose, the company didn't sent the bracket needed but my favorite was when they told me the computer had a clitch and lost the order. It's been one thing or another with them. Then I am told by Tim he would cover my rental from Jan 30 until I get my car well because I am only paying a partial ($10.00 a day) for the rental he says he wont pay now. If my insurance had not told me to go there I would not. Tim and Lindsay are nothing but liars and don't care about the customer. Lindsay even said she would call me on day with an up date and guess what....no call, go figure. read more

I recently had some body work done on my car and wanted to recommend Calibur to anyone looking for a reputable and easy to deal with company. They were professional and kept me informed with a status update regularly until my car was done. They came at the exact quote, with no surprises. The repairs were expertly done and I couldn't be a happier customer. Should I need body work done again, I won't hesitate to contact them in the future. read more

My new Corvette was damaged at a local dealership while being worked on under warranty. Caliber was the repair shop designated for repair. Damage was originally minor and straight forward. I was told they would remove the front bumper and repair, repaint, and re clear bra it after replacing it on the car. What I got was a amateurish attempt to "Blend" the painted spot without removing the bumper which turned out to be the wrong color, and you could see through the paint to the dark plastic color underneath. Caliber then for no reason I could discern removed the clear bra on the right front fender and replaced it in such a manner that it had bubbles of air under the surface the size of quarters all over the fender.Caliber then delivered the car back to the dealership without washing it after having it sit outside for 2 weeks in our stormy weather and collecting residue inside the very dirty shop. I asked the dealership why the car had not been cleaned and was told that Caliber had told them that they could not wash it for 3 weeks until the paint had dried. I know from personal experience that this statement was pure drivel. I never received any communication from Caliber explaining this totally unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. Car went to Jafbros body where it was returned to it's original pristine condition. I highly recommend taking your car to Jafbros in the first place and save the stress of a really bad job at Caliber. read more

Great service, good people. Initially, I had some qualms about using a chain, rather than a local shop, but these guys are very good and helpful. I do recommend. read more

I took my car in for a front end collision, and was given a quote of approx $2300 and and estimate of 10 days to complete the work. 8 1/2 weeks, and $8000 later, I got my car.. Communication was terrible, promises of "just another week" were given numerous times. Misleading text messages sent every other day that work was nearing completion. I finally contacted the cooperate headquarters after 5 weeks. They were very quick to get back to me. They explained to me that my car was only being worked on for 2 hours a day and that was why it was taking so long. I was shocked at this practice. The did get me a rental car for my inconvenience. The one star in this review is for them, not for the local franchise in Reno. George tried to clean things up, but ultimately he is in charge of this shop and how it runs. I sold my car to a dealer (fully disclosed the accident and repair) 3 days after getting it back. I had no confidence that the repairs were done correctly after being told that they weren't really equipped to do this kind of repair. I have never had an experience this bad with any business anywhere. read more

this business had given me a repair estimate..i get my estimate from geiko and go to them calber to have car repaired..guy name john gomez says he will order parts and notify me when in..3 weeks later i call to find out how long it takes to receive ordered parts...the manager tells me it was a mistake and he would personally order parts and notify me next day for update..3 weeks later have heard nothing..called again yesterday and cannot get a person on phone..eventually i do and he says have 20 cars plus now and pretty much do not need my business..this type of customer service is unacceptable..and there treatment of a potential customer just blows my mind..really you cannot order the parts to repair my vehicle and fix it..you just do not care..i hope anyone wanting to use this place of business try someone else who wants your business and treats u as such..like ordering your parts and repairing your vehicle..i wish i could do more to announce how bad this business really is.. read more
