I needed to get my Honda Pilot serviced and this is the place AAA uses. I'm very happy there is a location closer to where I live. I used to have to go to a location in Clairemont Mesa. The staff is very helpful. I needed a ride to the rental place in Poway and they did not hesitate to offer to drive me. Also, they decided to tow my vehicle to another location so the work could be done within a week. I appreciate them doing that because my daughter needed the vehicle back to use at school. Someone hit my vehicle in a parking lot, and I chose Caliber Collision in Poway to get my car fixed up. They gave me great white-glove service. It was super easy to make an appointment by phone (and soon) and when I arrived I was greeted promptly. Everyone I interacted with was very pleasant, and the facility was clean, including the restroom. They called the rental car company for me and arranged for them to pick me up at the shop. And when I came to pick up the car when it was fixed, they let me drop off the car at their shop and ensured that the rental car company came to get it. During the repair, the team kept me in the loop at all times on the status of my vehicle by texting me and sharing a link that would take me to more details, if I was interested. They also called to leave voicemails. The shop is very easy to access within a business park in Poway. They did a very nice job with the repairs, were thorough, and paid attention to details. They even provided a light car wash, which I sorely needed! I didn't personally pay for the repair since the other driver's insurance company took care of it, and I don't really have a good feel for what these types of repairs cost, but it seemed like it was a good value given the level of service I received. read more

Avoid at all cost. I read everything I sign. There were 2 provisions of the consent that I had concerns with. The first was that they could transfer my car to any other Caliber Collision location. This would put extra miles on my car. I asked if they could ask me before doing it and then I can give my consent. The second was that they could add fuel if they needed to. Again, I asked it they could ask me first and I felt uncomfortable initialing those paragraphs giving blanket approval. I was speaking to the service advisor Randy. Then a woman came out and basically bullied me and said if I don't sign the consent with all the provisions, they will not fix my car. I don't appreciate being strong armed and threatened to sign something I have concerns about. I left. I would not trust them to fix my car if they use these strong armed, threatening tactics. read more

Update 2/6/2020: Noticed an air leak the second I was driving home from picking up the car. I passed it off for a few weeks just to see if it was regular road noise, jeep noise or I'm just crazy. Another person who drove my car noticed it to so I decided to take it in to check. Caliber Collision wanted to make things right and tried so many fixes. After a few hours of figuring out some fixes, it apparently needed some time to be more creative to fix this air leak/noise. I'm okay with that and happy they went above and beyond. They provided the repair at no cost while giving me a rental while they try to fix it. The issue was not a product of Caliber Collision's work. They actually did a stellar job. It was an issue or a step very unique to Jeep doors so it took some time to properly research. Thank you Joel, Vern, Zach and staff for putting through this annoying issue.
