I had an outstanding experience getting my Chevy Tahoe repaired. It came out looking like new! The quality of the work exceeded my expectations, and the customer service was some of the best I've received in a long time. Highly professional, honest, and attentive throughout the entire process. I 100% recommend them. Thank you, Ylan N.! read more

I never thought I'd say this about a body shop but what a great experience. Absolutely stellar customer service from the second you step in (don't ever let your front desk guy go!). It was a smooth transition from the beginning. Appreciated the text updates too. This will definitely be my go to shop for body work. Highly recommend. read more

Holy Smokes, what a smooth experience from start to finish! This was one of two shops recommended by my insurance (I stopped by the other shop as well and decided to pass on them after visiting Caliber). I was welcomed as soon as I entered, and as the agent was taking my information and realized my accident had happened just a few hours earlier, he stopped all questions to make sure I was ok first and foremost (the other shop seemed to care about the other driver more than a potential customer, weird). I was offered popcorn and coffee/tea. I made an appointment online to bring my car back the next morning. They drove me to the car rental (or provide Lyft if needed). I was assigned an agent who was with me every step of the way and provided constant helpful updates on the progress. Once my car was ready I left my rental with them and they return it for you... No back and forth. This was just a great experience while dealing with the unfortunate circumstances of a car accident. I highly recommend Caliber if you need body work! read more

I got into my first little fender bender ever and the staff Caliber Collision on 11th in Oakland were outstanding the entire process. Alan and Eric walked me through what was going to happen and they delivered. I received text updates throughout the week my car was being worked on, which was reassuring that I wasn't forgotten about. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who needs work done on their vehicle after an accident. read more

Caliber Collision - Damage right after the accident. - Body Shops Near Me - Oakland, California

Got into a car accident involving an elk, my insurance recommended me here. Everyone was kind, though there were many issues. For one, I had to contact my advisor to get updates on my car, otherwise I would receive no update on my car, not knowing what was happening. Second, the damage of my car was on the left side of my fender and bumber, pushed everything towards the right, and the bottom 'spoiler' from my front bumper also was scratched from the antlers. Yet that part was not changed, spoke to them as when I got home that part was dangling (after the bumber being fixed). Took it back, they re put it, but did not paint it. As they stated that I had not made them aware of this damage. Despite this damage because less than half an inch away from where the elk hit me. They submitted it to the insurance, and fixed it, but that meant I had no car again for 3/4 days. In total, I was without a car for about 2 weeks because of them not doing things correctly the first time, making me go back twice. On top of all this, I got my car back yesterday, and on top of my fender, there is a trim piece that is broken, which it was not broken when I went into the shop. Thus it was broken from removal, when they took the car apart to fix it. Yet they didn't put a new trim piece. Aside from this, my car was completely dirty from the inside. I understand that it is going to be a bit dirty, but it seems that they had the window open, or doors open when sanding a car, or my car. Despite my damage being on the front part. Thus my car from inside was completely filthy. read more

Great experience at Caliber! Daniel was a pleasure to work with; gave me timely updates on my vehicle and when it was going to take a tad longer than originally expected, he explained the reasons why. I cannot recommend Caliber Collision enough! Allen, Eric, and Lee were absolutely incredible. Allen made sure I received updates every single day and even expedited the process knowing how much the situation was affecting my ability to get to work. The team also helped me get a rental car set up and pointed me in the right direction for a catalytic converter protector. In nearly ten years of owning my car, I have never experienced such outstanding service at an auto shop. These guys genuinely go above and beyond for their customers. If you need collision repair, this is the place to go! read more

I was involved in an accident. The insurance agency offered several options and I selected Caliber. I was introduced to Daniel, my technician. After inspecting my car he reviewed the repairs needed. He stated my car would probably be ready the next day (Friday) or that Monday. Daniel called early Friday morning stating my car would be ready by noon on Friday. I picked up my CLEANED and SHINY car on Friday afternoon. NO DELAYS. Repair complete. Shout out to Daniel. Thank you so much! read more

I just got my car back from Caliber and I couldn't be more impressed! The whole experience was exceptional. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, even watching them interact with each other, you get the vibe that they're all genuinely awesome people. Eric was my point of contact and he made the whole process easy and quick...and helped me save several hundred dollars! The repairs were finished much sooner than the estimate and my car looks better than before it was damaged. Thanks, Eric and the whole Caliber team! Hopefully, I don't have to see them again soon, but if/when I do, I'll know I'll be in the best of hands. read more

Once again I was so pleased with my latest experience here. Absolutely the best service and communication (Alan and Daniel are the best) My car came back to me looking perfect! The car rental (shuttle to Enterprise) was seamless on both ends. This is my go-to auto body shop and sadly, I know I'll be back read more

Lee at Caliber Collision was very helpful when I needed to get my car fixed after another car hit it. He explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and they took wonderful care of my car. Definitely recommend! read more

A new car was damaged in transit from Vegas and I contacted Caliber because it's my local auto body shop. They responded promptly, gave me a quick appointment and handled intake just as efficiently. Ultimately they did the work for free as a courtesy because it only required buffing. Who does that these days? They also washed my car. Will definitely be back for the professional and neighborly service. PS they have fresh popcorn in the waiting room. read more

They kept me up to date & had my car finished ahead of time. The finished job was beautiful! I felt like I was driving a brand new car again. A+ service!!! read more

All I can say is WOW! My beloved car was in a nasty wreck and the team at Caliber on 11th went above and beyond at every chance they got. From my very first call, Lee was kind, patient and hilarious, making this very difficult time a much easier experience. He was communicative and went out of his way to get the process rolling ASAP, even though my insurance company had not contacted them yet. Next, I was assigned to Eric, my service advisor, and I couldn't be more impressed with his professionalism, industry knowledge and thorough attention to both my vehicle's and my own needs. He took the time to walk me through all of the expected repairs, answer all of my questions (no matter how many times I called or emailed) and communicate my vehicle's progress. He was super communicative, letting me know when he would be OOO and made sure I had backup contact information. He went out of his way to get me a great price on some extra repairs while my car was in the shop. I even got to leave with a couple of products to help take care of my car-baby. I'm almost sad to know that I won't be seeing the team again (I hope!) but if I ever need any body work, I will 100% come back and will continue to recommend Caliber on 11th to anyone who will listen. Eric and Lee made this the "best worst" experience of my life and I will be forever grateful! read more

I had a mixed experience. Due to their neglect I was never able to fix my car here. The employee who did my intake and estimate wrote down my number wrong so they never actually followed up with me after to schedule a time to take the car in. I called later and was in a time crunch to fix the car because I'm renting it out, and their front staff told me it wouldn't be an issue. And then my guy calls me and admits to the number mistype, and doesn't seem apologetic at all. He then told me I'd have to wait a few days until the part came in for the repair, which I thought they'd already have the part bc it had been awhile since the intake I did. At this point I'm looking at a major inconvenience to be imposed on my renter to bring it in when I had been told it was not gonna be a problem so I was upset. The guy was very sexist towards me and felt the need to tone and language police me before trying to figure out the problem. "You're being unprofessional." I felt unfairly judged. I'll just say as a woman who's worked in customer service I'd never tell a man to change his tone or watch his language because I wouldn't feel safe to do so. And I'm fairly confident this guy wouldn't have felt he could speak to a man like that. I do want to commend front desk staff member Lee. He seems extremely pleasant, empathetic and highly professional, ironically. So I won't be taking my business there. read more

Good service, fast and reliable! I went to this shop after my cat.converter got stolen. Guy did a great job, taking my car on Monday and giving back on Wed morning. Not only it was fast, they clean my car, inside and outside. And fixed a dent I had for a long time on my rear bumper. Thank you @Caliber Collision. And thank you mr. Lee and mr. Duch read more

I worked with Eric from day 1 & he is just the nicest guy, making me feel very taken care of. I did not stress one bit when I brought my car to this location. Prior to that, yes, because someone hit my car & I'm like, ugh, here we gooooo...but I was able to drop off my car, & it got repaired in a few days! From Monday to Friday! When dropping off my car, Eric even called Enterprise to come pick me up in their van to bring me to the rental office about 2 miles away. And they came within 10 minutes! Throughout the next few days, I got text updates (which I didn't need but fully appreciate). Caliber Collisions truly made it easy for me...in the middle of my work day, I was on a time crunch, & I was able to leave my rental car with them so they could return it FOR ME, & I was able to quickly drive off with my newly repaired car. Here I was thinking returning the rental would be a mini ordeal, but not so! Also, thank you manager Alan for signing me off at the very end, making sure I was happy with the repair. Caliber Collision is a super busy office, so try to make your appointment & don't delay it. I got sick & had to reschedule my original appointment, so I got pushed back 2 weeks, which was totally understandable. Thanks again Eric!! And Alan!! I pray to God that I won't ever have to return, but if I do, the other offending party better have the car insurance that would allow me to go to this location!! read more

My insurance referred me to this repair shop that was a few blocks away from where I stay. All I can say is I was greeted by super cool workers here. I was greeted by a guy name Daniel , super cool and he went over everything I need to know as far as damage cost, and the lead time of the repair completion. He ordered me a ride to the car rental and by the time I finished signing the paperwork's, Enterprise was ready to take me . I have to say I was impressed , the repair was completed by the date that was given by Daniel. Excellent job on repair and excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend this place for those that need their cars repaired!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about the folks at Caliber. Everyone in the office was great, but I specifically worked with Joy. She was professional, her communication and follow-through were fantastic, and she got my car to me ahead of schedule. (And it is perfect.) read more

I've now had my car damaged multiple times. It's extremely frustrating to say the least. Fortunately, I chose my insurance company's network shop, Caliper Collision. It was the best decision I could have made. From the moment I called to set up an appointment, I was greeted with a level of genuine care and professionalism I've only encountered during stays at five star hotels. This team goes the extra mile, above and beyond, and truly exceeded my expectations. I want to give special shouts out to the manager Alan, and the office team of Eric, Lee, and Dumauriea, who all, at one time or another, assisted me. Caliper Collision has many locations, but I will attest that the Oakland location on 11th street does fantastic work. I highly recommend them. read more

The kindness of these folks left my heart feeling full! My catalytic converter was stolen and the place my insurance was associated with was almost 7 miles away. The scraps from the robbery were dragging when I drove and I was nervous to make the trek over there. These guys were right around the corner from me and when I asked them if I could pay them to somehow suspend the pipe for my drive they very kindly offered to do it for free. It was all taken care of in 15 minutes. After feeling all sorts of emotions with this situation it was so nice to have this experience with such good people. Hopefully this never happens again, but if I do have issues in the future I'll be back here for sure! read more

THIS location is the best. I've been a customer AS NEEDED for a few years. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Thank y'all, hopefully I WON'T see you soon. read more

To start with, the team here is great - Eric, Lee, etc. and they did a great job. The issue here is that they recommended Enterprise rent a car on Broadway. Those guys were terrible all around. Seriously, you guys are amazing. Those clowns are bringing you down. You need to find another rental car place to work with - they aren't professional and they cheat people. I don't care if it's family or high school friends that make you work with them because they are hurting you and that's not cool for them to treat friends and family this way. Read all the one-star reviews they have. You guys are way too good for them. Please use somewhere else or just open your own rental place - I bet you'd do a great job with it. read more

My car was vandalized; the front passenger window broken, the stereo stolen and the heat/AC panel destroyed. I locked myself out of my car and thankfully, I work right next to Caliber Collision. I walked in asking for help and despite their shop being quite busy, Allan was able to help me get into my car. He was transparent about potential damages from the beginning but, I was just grateful I didn't have to call my insurance company. Allan was able to unlock my car door with minimal damage. I offered to pay for his service however, he said it was free! From my one interaction, I can already tell the shop provides great transparency and car services. I would recommend them to anyone in the area. Thanks again! read more
