Unfortunately, I had to leave before they could finish my car, which was definitely frustrating. They apologized, asked me to come back the next day, and even took $10 off for the inconvenience. When I returned, they absolutely exceeded my expectations. The inside and outside of my car looked phenomenal--it was clear they had taken the time to do the job right. What impressed me most wasn't that things went perfectly the first day--they didn't. It was how they handled the situation. Instead of rushing through my car just to get me out the door, they chose quality over speed and asked me to come back so they could deliver the level of work they stand behind. That kind of integrity is rare. Yes, I was annoyed that I had to make a second trip, but in the end, I left with a beautifully detailed car and a lot of respect for a business that genuinely cares about doing exceptional work. Their crew took out and cleaned floor mats and they seemed to wipe down everything as best they could. We also have dogs so there probably was a little bit of dog hair in the back too. The woman who runs the business said they needed to charge extra to shampoo one of the carpets because there was some sort of stain in the back. I thought that was reasonable. Considering that it has been years since we seriously cleaned the car, I think they did a good job and put a lot of attention, I think the price I paid was reasonable.

In all cases, California Detailing produced fantastic results that made the new cars look better than they were at dealer delivery and the well-used vehicles look as close to new as possible. For vehicles that we've subsequently sold, California Detailing's attentive work helped protect their resale value. Even when we don't have big jobs pending, we drop by their shop a few times a year for installation inspections and touch-ups (no charge during PPF or ceramic coating warranty period). In addition to being skilled professionals, California Detailing also have great customer service that easily makes my family and me feel at home during our visits. The quality of detail I received for the price was the best I've had in forever. I've paid $300 for detailing service and received crap back. How do I give more stars…read more I came to David at Steamworks after getting quotes from other shops that wanted to charge an arm and a leg for scratch repair and or new parts or just flat out rejected doing the work at all. What a difference. Before I even booked, David gave me a thorough, honest upfront assessment -- no overpromising, just a clear-eyed look at what was possible and what the process would involve and how much it would genuinely be and what else my car might need. I dropped my car off within a single day, he removed rust, corrected deep scratches across the rear quarter panels, polished and restored the paint, and even cleared up the headlights. The car looks almost brand new. The before and after difference is incredible. The price was insanely fair compared to what dealerships and other shops quoted me. If you're dealing with scratches, scuffs, or paint damage and don't want to get gouged, come here first. David does the work right, treats you like a person, and delivers results that speak for themselves. But enough words. I'll let the photos do the rest.

Never again! I would much rather pay for top-tier service and have peace of mind than worry about fixing problems later. Most recently, I had a front PPF and tint done on my Tesla, and the results were flawless. OCD Detailing is one of the few places capable of tinting the entire Tesla roof using a single piece, with no seams, and it looks incredible. They were also kind enough to help install hub caps I purchased separately and recommended a great source for blacked-out emblems. My car turned out beautiful. The only downside is that I live in San Francisco, so the drive is a bit out of the way, but it was absolutely worth it. I highly recommend Transtar auto body shop. I had my Lexus front body repaired here and what amazed me was that the body shop had its own mechanic shop. So they could fix my wheel suspension system right there as the result of the accident. They worked with my insurance company and followed the repair schedule pretty well. They also provided me the status text update throughout the car repair time. When I picked up my car, they gave me another surprise. Beyond the regular car cleaning, they also helped me change the oil when they saw the car maintenance light was on. This is really above and beyond my expectation. The first body shop I went to - recommended by her (the driver who hit me) insurance wanted to total my car. No, thank you very much. I found Husteads and decided to see what they thought. Sam was my estimator and after crawling around under my car (she got right down on the ground in the parking lot!) she said it was repairable, that they would be able to do the work and it would be covered by the other drivers insurance. Hallelujah! I dropped my car off a week later. Sam kept me updated throughout the process and on Friday of that same week the repair was complete and I was able to be reunited with my car. Cannot thank Sam and Husteads enough for their professionalism and the repair work they did. Here's hoping I don't need more repair work in the future but if I do I know where I'll be going.

I called their shop after the incident and they quickly arranged for my vehicle to be towed to their shop (it was not drivable). The tow service was great, being both efficient and timely. Jimmy, one of the managers, arranged for me to obtain a rental car and even dropped me off at the rental facility. After dropping off my car, shop staff kept me periodically updated on the status of the repairs. One key part was apparently in recall status and not available through the dealer. The repairs could not be finalized without this part, potentially causing issues with my rental car availability if not resolved. Understanding the potential problem, the managers of the shop worked to resolve the issue quickly to my satisfaction, explains to me in detail the options available. Shortly thereafter my car was ready for pickup. The managers arranged for my rental car to be picked up from the shop (saving me a bunch of time), and Josh in the front office ensures my vehicle pickup went smoothly. I simply can't ask for more in a body shop.
