It was tough finding a place that will do it, but with great luck I stumbled upon Community Auto Garage. Gave them a call and they immediately responded and answered all the questions I had. They did an awesome job with the hitch installation. My boyfriend and I were able to enjoy riding our bikes out of town with their help! Fast forward to today, I had my car serviced for a faulty starter and bad alternator. I was quoted an insane amount at the dealership, but was quoted a much reasonable price here. It was smooth scheduling the appointment with Kam. Throughout the process, he was informative & communicative. He provided photos and videos and went above and beyond with updates! I had a great experience at Community Auto Center. It was easy to make an appointment and they took on my issue, which others had shied away from. My car had been having issues starting in the morning though the battery, starter and alternator was fine. We had to find out what was draining it, and they did! I noticed some squeaking coming from my car and thought to myself, "that doesn't sound good" so I decided to ask around to see who might be able to fit in a diagnostic check without being oversold on things I don't really need. A few friends mentioned Community Auto Center and I called and they were kind enough to fit me in despite having a full schedule and let me drop off the car that afternoon. They confirmed I needed new brakes and they were able to install them the following day. Tane always has a quick five minutes to plug his computer into your dash and let you know why the heck the CHECK ENGINE light just came on. * PRICES MOWED LIKE A LAWN The bills have been much less than another 'cheap' mechanic I used to be loyal to. As a backyard mechanic (working on cars for 15+ years) I needed some work done (rear main seal) that was best to be done at a shop that had a lift. I searched around and found Tane (pronounced Tahn / Tawn) who had nothing but great reviews. Long-story short, I received my car back with a newly replaced rear main seal. After a couple of email exchanges, I took my Mercedes Benz C240 4Matic to Community Auto Center to get what's often referred to as Service A or B. Not only is the owner a responsive and great communicator, he's an excellent technician! He even told me what problems to look for that might need fixing in the near future. And the most important thing is that he's fair with his pricing. At my request, he separated the price estimate between parts and labor. My car is running smoother as a result of his work. This place is a gem. I discovered it when my car started making a funny noise one morning, and needed something close by. Kham is awesome. He fixed the part which came loose underneath and helped coordinate with my work schedule. We had a very nice conversation about what else I could do to help my car run smoothly-- He is very informative and helpful. I came back about a year later to do some 60K routine maintenance.
