I just visited for an estimate and had such a pleasant experience I wanted to leave a review. First off, the receptionist (Adridra?) smiled(!) as I walked in and was super professional and friendly, offering me their selection of popcorn, water and coffee. Then Franklin helped me with the estimate and gave me an explanation and was friendly and professional the entire time. They both seemed warm and genuine. I talked with the other customers there and we were like, wow these people are so nice and we're glad that we're getting our cars fixed here. I had such a bad experience with the service and work at the Berkeley caliber collision on Claremont Ave that I almost swore off caliber collision. Anyway, I'm glad I gave it another shot and tried the oakland location. If it works out, I would love to get my car repaired by them. Haven't seen the work yet but I already feel good about starting the process. read more

Argh! My catalytic converter was stolen! My insurance company gave me a few options for where to get my car towed to, and I decided to go with Caliber Collision due to its convenient location. I was very pleasantly surprised -- they handled everything for me, and the car was ready for collection two days later. They even cleaned it for me! They were a real bright spot in an otherwise awful experience. read more

Great experience with Caliber Collision. They helped my dad fix his bumper and made the whole process smooth and easy. The team was friendly, the quality was excellent, and they finished everything in about a week. Audi looks brand new again. Highly recommend! read more

Alan was absolutely amazing. But before I get into that let me give you some background. We had the worst thing happen, damage to our parked car, no note no explanation. We have State Farm insurance and we knew that we would be covered however, it always feels like a gamble trusting a new shop. Alan was quick to get in contact with us as soon as we approved State Farm to send the shop our information. (Caliber is a vendor state farm works directly with). He explained the process and made our drop-off a breeze. The shop even helped coordinate with Enterprise. We were surprised to get a call a day early saying our vehicle was ready to be picked up and we were in and out in less than 10 mins. We will definitely be returning and can not thank Alan enough! read more

Fantastic experience getting work done on my honda civic. Franklin and the team did great work, got it done quickly, communicated well, and best of all, counseled me to save a ton of money for the same fix that another garage had given a high estimate for. Felt like the team here was looking out for my best interests, and in no time my car was looking great. Highly recommend! read more

They left my car on the street where its permit parking and I got a ticket. They have an entire secure back lot but left my car in the street?! Their prices are absolutely outrageous and rude staff too. Never going here again. read more

Someone ran into my car in a parking lot and my insurance company let me choose a spot - this one seemed convenient so I took it, not expecting much tbh. I mean, Has anyone ever had a good experience w a car insurance repair shop? Turns out so. I was so surprised by the high levels of personal attention and care at this Caliber! My car was delivered on time and in perfect condition. More so, the folks who work here seem to like and respect both each other and their customers - when I dropped off my car they were playing "question of the day" to get to know each other better (while working efficiently and engaging with customers). It gave it such a warm, community feel - so much so that when I needed a recommendation for auto glass a few weeks later, I reached back out to Alan and he immediately sent me some trusted subcontractors to check out! read more

I posted a review about this location. Caliber Collision is full of crap. I've emailed them several times. They pay someone at their corporate office to respond to reviews on Yelp with a corporate email address for you to respond. I've seen their responses to other bad Yelp reviews with the same email address posted asking you to email them (Caliber Collision) so they "Can make it right". The thing is...they never respond to your emails if you email them. I've emailed them quite a few times. It's a scam just like how they scam you at Caliber Collision when you are a customer. Caliber pays someone to try and make it look like they care by responding to reviews, but they make it even worse because they don't even bother to respond to the email that they ask you to respond to so they can "Make it right". What a bunch of bullshit! What a shitty company. They just want people who read the bad Yelp reviews to think they are responsive. It's a front. Caliber Collision is a horrible company. Don't believe them. All the way to the corporate office they misrepresent themselves. I'll attach a picture of my email. No response from communitymanager@calibercollision.com LOL this company is so rude... don't give them business! read more

Caliber Collision - Here is me responding to Caliber Collision. They don't respond back. It's a scam. - Body Shops Near Me - Oakland, California

I just want to give a shout out for this business - I had a claim and the woman who helped me on the phone did such a good job, making sure everything was linked to my insurance company, including typing everything into a second system - Yeah, I know "that's their job" but they were patient, helpful and friendly. I felt so bad when it turned out the other party's insurance accepted liability, and I had to use another shop -- but I promised I'd write them a review - I recommend this place! read more

Karen is great! Super helpful and informative! I knew my car was in good hands the whole time!
