I called their shop after the incident and they quickly arranged for my vehicle to be towed to their shop (it was not drivable). The tow service was great, being both efficient and timely. Jimmy, one of the managers, arranged for me to obtain a rental car and even dropped me off at the rental facility. After dropping off my car, shop staff kept me periodically updated on the status of the repairs. One key part was apparently in recall status and not available through the dealer. The repairs could not be finalized without this part, potentially causing issues with my rental car availability if not resolved. Understanding the potential problem, the managers of the shop worked to resolve the issue quickly to my satisfaction, explains to me in detail the options available. Shortly thereafter my car was ready for pickup. The managers arranged for my rental car to be picked up from the shop (saving me a bunch of time), and Josh in the front office ensures my vehicle pickup went smoothly. After some additional quibbling, he finally told me that it would probably cost around $600-700 dollars. This amount of money for a simple door and hood swap is ridiculous! It's something I could do on my own time but I just don't live in a place that allows for mechanic work (apartment complex) or access to all the tools. I recall Raj was way nicer and professional about it rather than trying to sound like a used car salesman and sleaze their way into bringing my car to the shop (I would have to ask a friend to bring the spare parts to be swapped since they don't fit in my car, at which point would be difficult to decline the job). Really, really disappointed and I don't think I can recommend this place again. *Update* Very interesting that the owner chose to respond so quickly upon my updated review. Their claim was factually false, as reasons to bring in my car were never discussed over the phone and he repeatedly just stated that he would be plugging in and quoting me whatever his estimate software produced. After a brief inspection, Rodrigo pointed out what possibly happened, which validated my suspicions that someone may have backed into my car while it was parked and caused the damage without me knowing. I left the car there for a further inspection, they provided me a ride home, and when I got home Rodrigo called to give me my options. I chose one and they ordered the parts. First of all, I live out of town, but I was given a free ride after drop-off and then when the car was finished. Both ways! I had never encountered this problem before and Mike had to expertly disassemble and remove the front and back seats plus the trunk, an exceedingly agonizingly painstaking job. The car was flawless when I got it back. It took about a week to dry out. The backup camera did not work, but that simply needed a minor adjustment from a local audio mobile expert. Both times, dropping of my vehicle in the morning was difficult bc of a vendor (the same vendor each time) was blocking the driveway with their large truck double parked so I wasn't able to pull in. I had to circle around the block multiple times, finally found parking nearby - only to have to move my car into the garage after the vendor left. I understand they are located in a company space, but having an efficient way to drop off vehicles seems like it should be a priority. The first time I brought a car in, the damage was repaired quickly and the work was good. As a result, the next time one of my vehicles needed work, I brought it to Caliber. However, this time my experience was incredibly disappointing. When I picked up my car, I could see the body damage was repaired, but my car had some unsightly white residue on it. It was promptly taken back and cleaned after I pointed it out. I didn't think too much of it and now wish I had taken the time to examine the inside of my car before leaving. The interior of my car was filthy - not how I dropped it off. The third row was lowered to expand the trunk area - also not how I left it. There were dirty dust/scuff marks and drops of yellow paint. Some sort of sticky white residue on the interior panels, too. And "Juan" left his Starbucks drink in a cup holder in the back - which turned moldy. This was the first time I received a vehicle back in worse condition than I left it - and unfortunately, I did not realize it until my kids opened the door to hop into the back. After my service, I received a generic email from Caliber inquiring about the quality of work and customer service. I left a description of the dirty condition and attached photos . I did not receive a response back. So, I've not returned.
