But I figured I'd try this store because it had good reviews and there was not much shops local to my home. After my experience there I cannot say anything but good things about them. Last year I brought my Ford Explorer for repairs to the Baker Ranch facility on 26100 Dimension in Orange County, CA and had a wonderful experience. Recently I brought my daughter's truck in for a damaged mirror. The representative, Sarah, was very disorganized. When she examined the damage, she did not take any pictures, so requested I come back for a subsequent visit. I did most of the leg work for the insurance and had to call her to check the status of the repair. Weeks of back and forth before I was told by the manager, Darren, that she no longer worked for the company. Darren indicted he had only been the manager at the location for three weeks. He was less then apologetic for the poor customer service I received and had no idea where in the process my order was. Caliber had already received the checks from the insurance company and had not even ordered the part. Darren advised he would order the mirror and give me a call when it was received. He failed to hang up the phone before talking about me....He made numerous derogatory comments about our conversation. I hung up and called Darren and voiced concern regarding his unprofessional and disrespectful behavior and advised he should make sure he hangs up the phone before he talks about his customers...again no apology. I immediately contacted another Caliber Collision center since the checks had already been issued. I spoke to Robert Datson manager of the Lake Forest Caliber and received great customer service. He advised he would contact the Baker Ranch location and ensure the repairs were made. He called me the following day with a status report and the repair should be completed this week. Darren is not professional and really needs education and training on how to treat customers. I was a repeat customer and will never go back to this shop. read more

Armando came over to my work and replaced my Bronco Sport windshield which sounds simple, but he had to calibrate the camera and sensor which requires a lot of work when you are in a busy city because the vehicle has to get to a sustained speed of 40 mph. Frankly a phenomenal shop. I was helped significantly by Mike and Ricky, both of whom are fantastic fellows with great people skills and even better skills with cars. I had brought in a large aftermarket spoiler that requires drilling into the trunk, weatherproofing... the whole ordeal! After evaluating it they said they would come up with a solution and they absolutely did. The spoiler now rests on my car completely flush, stable, and perfectly aligned. This is a new location - called them on a Saturday and was able to come in without an appointment, noting that weekends are usually busy. I received a very fair estimate for a front bumper repair and the car was restored quickly (only taking several days). Further, as the repairs were ongoing I was provided with text messages notifying me of the status and timing. That said, I'll pointedly highlight that the customer service at this location is phenomenal and hassle free. It is the best service I've seen at an auto body repair & paint shop. My Cadillac Escalade exterior door handle broke for the 3rd time. Going back to the dealer was not an option anymore because of the ridiculous prices they charged me in the past. I called around 10-15 auto repair places around Lake Forest/Irvine area and Caliber Collision-Baker Ranch location was the nicest and most professional folks to talk with. From Sandra in front desk and Matthew Hurtado helping me through the whole process was just fantastic. Matt even allowed me to bring my own new door handle part! The place is huge and very clean and their website was very professional done. Due to Covid-19, we did the whole process outside in the parking lot with our masks :). I also had Matt look at other things with my car and he took care and answered all my questions. End result, the door handle was fixed and Caliber Collision labor cost was significantly lower (by 65%!!) than what Cadillac dealership would charge. My truck had been side swiped in a parking lot on the right side of the front bumper. My insurance USAA had arranged an appointment with a service advisor at the Baker Ranch location. The advisor Michael addressed me as Master Sargent in acknowledge of being a retired Air Force Veteran. When Michael looked at the damage, he said let me take it to the shop and see what can be done. After a very short wait in their lobby, he said come out and take a look. Michael said they were able to buff off the paint from the other vehicle and there was no damage to my truck. My experience at the Baker Ranch Caliber Collision was nothing short of perfection! My Kia Optima got rear ended and had significant damage done to the rear. What a great place! I took my truck (2019 Ram diesel 2500$$) in after minor collision damage. Matt looked at it right away and said he would take it to the buffing stall and see if the damage could be buffed out. In about 10 minutes he brought back and the area looked like new. There was a small dent and he gave me the number of a dent removal guy (Ultimate Dent Removal) who later that day came out and fixed it perfectly. Matt could have said the quarter panel would have tp be painted and that wpuld have cost at least $1000. It is so refreshing to find an honest guy and an honest business. I had just bought my car 4 months ago, and hit a bumper in the freeway, causing me to lose control and slam into the guard rail.
