Caliber collision is supposed to be the best in the business. We'll let me tell you that this place is far from that. I took my truck to this location for a dent in the driver's door and a dent in the passenger door. AAA ended up salvaging my truck. I chose to buy my truck back from AAA and I was promised that my truck would be put back the way it was when I brought it in unfortunately when I got my truck back, it was not put back to together correctly. It was missing several Bolton parts from the inner fender liner not to mention when they reinstalled my headlight they did it the wrong way hiding the headlight plug so now if I want to change my headlight bulbs out, I get to remove my whole headlight and reinstall it. I called to speak with someone about this issue and I received a call back from a gentleman named Zach very rudely left me a voicemail saying that they put the parts back to the best of their ability because they're damaged. well Zach that's BS because none of the parts you took off were broken therefore putting them back together only requires half a brain, which you guys lack. Here is the very ignorant and uneducated answer that I got left on my voicemail by somebody that didn't even bother to talk to me first. "Hi Jason, this is Zach calling from Caliber Collision in Baker Ranch. Uh, I believe you called with an issue regarding the 2006 Toyota Tundra, um, that you brought in and did not have repaired here. Um, I'm calling to see what it is that you're requesting from us, um, once the vehicle is deemed a total loss and and you remove the vehicle and you sign the release of liability, we're not really responsible for how the vehicles reassembled. We reassemble it back to the best that we can. Um, but essentially those are damaged crash parts. They're not going to go back on perfectly. So if you could please call me back and provide some inside, it'd be greatly appreciated. 949-656-3942." Staff is friendly but they lied to me about having my parts in stock after I confirmed 3 separate times with them. I arrived to find out they did not have the part in stock and were only going to put an after market part on my car. They also made me pay my insurance deductible to them before the appointment and told me to come with a full tank of gas. I had to call and confirm my deductible will be returned to me and was told I would get a email stating the confirmation. Continued problems, we had the car back a couple days now. And it's worse than ever, it rained last night and today when we went to drive our kids to school there was a rushing water sound as we started driving and water was pouring through the headliner into the rear of car. So now it will go back a 5th time. This is from a repair to replace a rear quarter panel so below are the issues we have had due to their negligence 1st - sunroof and assorted electronics didn't work, they forgot to connect electrical connections 2nd - body panels were sticking out further, not aligned. Manager said they didn't align the panels and don't have the bodywork fastened into the clips and tightened down correctly 3rd - headliner is leaking - they reused consumable rubber washers and didn't assemble correctly, had car another 1-2 weeks to completely replace headliner 4th- got car back from headliner replacement and driver and passengers leather seats are ruined by their cleaning / retailers apparently . Waiting for replacement 5th - rained last night and now more water than ever is leaking into car, new headliner is ruined. Completely soaked rear interior of car during rain last night If you aren't getting it, this isn't one simple mistake. This is a clear lack of quality control, capability and care. 2nd time in and hands down the best service you'll ever find. First time I was is an accident it is an embarrassing experience. There's no way in the world I'm going to be driving a wrecked vehicle but it's a holiday weekend. I drove the wreck right over to Caliber Collision and they were closed. Not a problem, they have a designated drop off area for your car. Doesn't matter what time it is or the fact that there's no one around. Property is protected by cameras. Fill out a form, put it in their envelope with the key and drop it in their secure drop box. I contacted my insurance company 3 days later and from that point on Caliber took over. I didn't have to make an appearance or anything. The next time I saw my vehicle it was looking brand new again, immaculate, done and ready to drive home. What the heck just happened is 100% the best customer service, the best repair service, an experience that so rare. I've been driving for 45 years and I have never been so happy with any service like I am with Caliber. Yes, this was my 1st time in. OMG, how embarrassing, I was involved in another wreck and this time it was much worse. 2:00am in the morning I drove the wrecked vehicle over to Caliber. Caliber Collision provided me with some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. They were able to quickly help me with the scratches and scuffs on my Supra. I recently hit a cone while driving on the freeway and it caused multiple scratches on the hood, headlights, front bumper and drivers door. I brought my car in expecting bad news. Fortunately, the manager Matt was able to help me out and one of their guys, David, was able to buff out all the scuffs. To be honest, it wasn't my first choice, due to so many companies to choose from here locally. Make sure you call BEFORE driving here for your SCHEDULED appointment to confirm they will actually be able to keep their own appointment, since they don't do the basic courtesy of letting a customer know prior that they "don't have enough manpower" that day..and wait until you're physically there to let you know. You don't know what kind of hoops a customer has to jump through sometimes to make a time work- there are people's jobs and children, all of which requires planning ahead. Completely unacceptable. From that point, Nancy set up my appointment and made sure insurance was set in place to cover all costs from other driver at fault. She was very professional and knowledgeable. Recently our 2014 Toyota Rav4 developed some blistering and peeling of the original factory paint. We consulted Toyota who advised us that it may be covered under a recall, and we were referred to Caliber Collision in Lake Forest / Foothill Ranch, CA on Dimension Street. Following an inspection by Matt Hurtado, the manager, we submitted an estimate to Toyota for repairs. Matt went to bat for us with Toyota as he found some additional defects that Toyota had not.
