Not recommended this shop..; I found out the one of the electrical problem which is related to the repair. I called them to get help, but they keep denying that they didn't mess it up. The problem is on and off, so I will have to keep this problem for a while. read more

I had an awesome experience here! I was skeptical at first because it was on a list of recommended ones on my insurance list, and I'm not one to be told who to choose lol! I originally choose the Morgan Hill location but something was mixed up from my insurance and they sent me to Gilroy. I honestly didn't care because I just wanted my car to be fixed ASAP. They were awesome and friendly from the moment I talked to them on the phone , all the way up to when I first walked through the door. They helped me set up my rental as well which was very nice. I was constantly updated via text and some phone calls on the status on my vehicle as well which I greatly appreciated. When I went to pick up my car I was so excited!! It looked amazing! I drive a Mercedes Benz and the quality of the repair was undistinguishable from the other non-damaged parts. Once I jumped in I noticed they even vacuumed and wiped down the inside !!! I was very pleased. They even said to come back for another detail on them! Unfortunately I don't have a super amazing review :-(. I only went here because my insurance company recommended the place. I was very disappointed in the work they performed, and the treatment I received. When I went to pick up my car the first time, the paint did not match, and Robert said that that was the best they could do. Also it looks like somebody had put my car together while they were blindfolded it was misaligned among other things. Overall a very disappointing experience, I got my car back with dents and scratches on it that weren't there prior. Not a happy camper or. I went somewhere else to have it fixed correctly. read more

My car was with them for about 2 weeks when they told me it would be readY in 6 days, and then when they returned it they didn't even do the body work correct toy and the paint started chipping because the door wasn't put on right, and they refused to fix it, this body shop does not care about the customers and they wilL lie to you to save there selves. So I just got my car back from Caliber and I am just amazed at the work they did. Hands down one of the best experiences I've had with a body shop. I work as a service writer so I know good customer service when I see it. Mark was extremely friendly and always kept me in the loop when it came to the progress on my car weather it was an email or just a simple phone call he made sure I knew the status of my car. When I arrived to pick up my car Mark met me in the parking lot, I didn't even get a chance to walk up to the door, these guys are definitely on their toes! I took a look around the vehicle and couldn't believe how great the paint blended and to my surprise they buffed my whole car and removed small scratches that were not even a part of the initial damage! Terrible phone etiquette, I was involved in an accident and my insurance recommended this shop. Considering they would back up the work they did, I obviously chose them. Once I had time to set up an appraisal I called and the attendant was rude to me because I miss understood what he said when he answered the phone.. I called back twice considering they have an 800 number I hoped to get a nicer, more clear attendant but instead I got hung up on TWICE. When I did manage to get a hold of someone they were very unclear and just assumed I knew where their shop was located and who "Bryan" was. After that experience I called Allstate to explain what happened and they rebooked me another collision shop within minutes. Not sure who would take their vehicle to that shop after that experience. read more

I would recommend Caliber Colision to everyone! I had to take in my truck after being rear ended - As soon as I walked in the door I was immediately greeted. Richard came out and looked at my truck right away. We scheduled a day for me to drop it off and then I was out of there. I dropped my truck off and a few days later it was done. They did an amazing job!!!! And they cleaned it so well inside and out! Richard even went out of his way to help me get my motorcycle into the back of the truck. Gabriel did an amazing job on the bodywork. He made sure that everything fit and looked perfect. So, Richard is the guy who is handling my repairs. He tells me the car will be ready Friday. He tells me this Thursday after I call numerous times to get in touch with him. I told him to please call me Friday to let me know the status. At 11am Friday he tells me the car is baking and should be finished and when it's done he will inspect it and if all is good then I can pick up my car Friday afternoon. He tells me he will call me at noon to update me. I get no call and I call him at 1:30 and he says that it should be ready to pick up at 5. I am confused as I thought it was done at noon. He tells me in a very condescending tone that it was just done being painted and still needs to be put back together. I get frustrated because I have kids and 5 is too late. So I tell him I'm upset and 5 is too late and I'll pick up Monday. An hour later my husband says he can pick it up at 5. We proceed to try to get ahold of someone to let them know and I'm now being told it's still baking. What!? Richard said it was done with paint. Now Richard is out of the office and come to find out they just stopped working on it. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone else. read more

Took our car here because our insurance recommended it. First off Mark our rep told us it would be ready Friday. I called Friday to see if I needed to make changes to my schedule to be there and he got smart with me about me needing to know what time "exactly" when all I was looking for was a yes or no about Friday. The following week we get the car back.. the bumper was too white. We took it back and a few days later we go get it and it is too dark. At this time the manager Richard gets involved and he is really nice but he tries to tell me things that are just not true. He told me that the color of the bumpers do not match the car from the factory. I called Mazda and they seem to disagree with him. After another 4 days or so we get it back and the one side that was hit looks good but the other side (they replaced and painted the bumper) is still mis-colored.. it seems like they just did the side we had been looking at hoping we would not notice the other side. I emailed him because at this point my husband is tired of us being without the car and we are just going to drive it with the noticeable difference in color. He did not respond to the email. After dealing with Richard and Mark for the second time in less then 30 days , i will no longer be able to deal with Caliber Collision of Gilroy, they dont bother to call you back at all, and you will find out that you will be chasing after them just to get answers. Not only my SUV paint doesnt match, the interior panel is bent and cannot lock into place the rear window seal is not installed correctly, these are issues that should have been inspected before calling the customer that it was done. then they dont bother to road test the SUV but when i did i found that my tires were humming and after i took them to Americas Tire to inspect them they found flat spot's so i decided to replace them and bring the bill to Caliber Collision, and just so that they tell my insurance that theres nothing wrong with my tires. i believe Americas Tire for the inspection before i believe Caliber. Americas Tire has more to lose if they lied. but for now Caliber Collision of Gilroy cannot be trusted at all.......BEWARE....... read more
