Super overdue review!!! My car was broken into and the window was smashed. Allstate lead me to this shop. This shop literally has given me the best customer service I have ever had. Jeannine at the front desk was super nice every time I called. Christian is so on top of his game with just being super friendly and personable. Armando was super communicative and understanding. I dropped it off and they provided me a rental car for free. I received another service from them but had missed the appointment bc I didn't have daycare for the baby but Armando had his employees pick my car up from my house and bring it back for my convenience! Amazing service! read more

I was very unhappy with the experience and service that was provided at this place. I do not recommend this company. I had very minor damage and they had my car for 3 weeks and they did not do a good job with keeping me updated, sometimes I would call and never get a call back until the next day. Terrible customer service. They definitely overcharged my insurance company too. read more

The crew in the front office were so nice and professional.and the repairs on my car were perfect. They even detailed it inside and out. I felt like I was driving a brand new car again.. read more

I'm surprised that this place doesn't have more reviews because they've been open for quite some time. They're not very responsive, and they're very greedy. We brought my daughters vehicle in and were told that they would send the quote to our insurance that day. They do not know how to do wiring and part of my daughters repair was fog lights. So the next day we came in with a quote from advanced trucks for my daughters bumper and lighting since they have done all of our vehicles previously. Again we were told that day (day2) they would send a quote to my insurance and order parts. The following day I called my insurance to verify that we could go to advanced trucks and they said that's fine and to let caliber collision know that they will strictly be doing the small dent. So I called caliber back (day3) and told them this, they were not very happy about it and said they don't wanna do a half repair. I told them that they were the ones who said they couldn't do the full repair and would have to send the vehicle to another shop to do the wiring because they don't do wiring. I told them I'd rather just have advanced trucks do the bumper because the lighting is already in the bumper they would order, since advanced trucks already know how to do all that. The guy told me he would find out if they can only do a half a pair and let my insurance know that day. By then I was fed up with this place and two days after that ..... my insurance still had yet to hear from caliber collision. So three days in a row I was told that they would send a quote to my insurance. It was a week after that they decided to send a quote to my insurance. By then it's too late because I'm not coming here. Terrible customer service. On their paperwork it said that sometimes it could take time to get parts. But if they don't move with the purpose and they take a week just to give you a quote when they tell you it's going to be day one they'll give you a quote... It'll probably be two months before you even get your repair done. When I used to work at Enterprise this is the shop we used to use and sometimes it would take over a month easy for a repair. read more

After waiting over a month for them to get parts and fit me into their schedule they informed me at drop off that they would need to tow the car to Fremont since they can't do repairs on electric vehicles at their facility. Then I would need to coordinate with the Fremont facility to get the repairs done and then they would tow it back to Gilroy. When I pointed out that this would have been great to know a month ago when I came in for the estimate the guy started arguing with me, telling me that I didn't get to tell him how to do his job. Wow...not something I'm willing to put up with when there are lots of places that would be delighted to earn my business. Plus I'd much rather spend my money in Gilroy than in Fremont. read more

I set up an appointment last week to get an estimate for my car that was hit in an accident through my insurance. I was informed by the employee at the time that 5:30 was okay even thought that's when they close. He was accommodating me because I had to leave work. When I called at 5:00 to confirm my appointment, the employee Pedro informed me that there was no appointment on the books and didn't really seem to care. I left work early for nothing. At that point I was no longer interested. So unprofessional, just overall disappointed. read more

I took my car to Caliber collision because three panels on the driver side were affected by an accident. Armando looked over the damage including a few scratches that were already on my car and said, " don't worry we will fix it and I will repair your scratches too". Armando informed me of the repairs and when I should expect my vehicle. All of the employees at Caliber collision on Pierce St. are kind, courteous and professional. When my vehicle was ready they delivered it to my home. I highly recommend Caliber collision to anyone whom needs auto body repair. read more

We took our vehicle to this shop after an accident based on a recommendation from our insurance company (preferred shop). During the entire process, I was overly impressed with their customer service. They worked directly with the insurance, undated me throughout, and did an amazing repair. A couple of months later, we brought our daughters car in after someone backed into it. Manuel was our service representative again ( he helped us the first time) and again they not only did a fabulous job but they repair was under what the estimate was. Manuel constantly updated us on the progress and the car was finished early. When we dropped it off I pointed out some trim pieces that needed to repainted and asked for a price to have them repainted out of our pocket. When we picked up the car we noticed the trim had been repainted and Manuel said they took care of it for us, no charge!! I have never experienced that at ANY body shop! About two weeks after getting it back, we noticed the brakes lights were out. We brought it back in thinking they forgot to re-hook up the lights when they painted. Manuel later called to say the bulbs were just out but he replaced them for us and he took care of it, meaning no charge! Wow!! If I could give this shop and Manuel 10 stars I would. We will never go to another shop again....no need when you go to the best shop in town!! Thank you everyone and Manuel for taking such great care of us!! read more

Great customer service ! This was one of the shop options my car insurance gave me to fix my car. It just seemed to be the closest to my house. Let me say that Manuel was super polite and extremely commutative in regards progress of my car repair. I would get daily text updates for progress of my car I just loved the communication Caliber Collision had. The repair timing was reasonable as well. Glad Manuel was out point of contact again he was really nice and polite. I would definitely use Caliber Collision again for any future car repairs. read more

If I can give these guys 10 Stars, I would have done so. I am taking a time from my day to write about these guys at Caliber Collision, because they treated me very well and took care of my car. If you are looking for high end quality work and amazing Service. Look no farther. Just to name few Bob, Robert and Laura were very friendly and professional when I dealt with them. When I kept my car with them to be fixed, they updated me on my car by texting me on what stage my car was at. They worked very well with my insurance and also worked very well to help me coordinate with the rental car. The best part of dealing with Caliber Collision is my car looked perfect after it was fixed and the paint job was so good. You can never think this car got hit before. keep in mind that my Car has very special paint color with metallic and pearl white. Thank you Caliber for a great experience. read more

Find another shop, this one doesn't check their work. Door was misaligned was told to shut it harder? Overspray all over the tailgate. Tried to put cheaper running boards on truck. No gas in tank, pictures show 1/2 full when dropped off. 4 other cosmetic issues. Drove to Monterey Caliber and had no issues. read more

We had the pleasure of having Savanna as our estimator. She was very awesome and bent over backwards to make sure our car was back to pristine condition. We used to go to the A huge shop in Morgan Hill and thought it was time for a change after multiple mistakes by that shop with our other cars. We are so glad we did. Caliber blended the color perfectly and there is no evidence of any damage to our car. Savanna kept us up to date on every stage of the repair through text message and I thought it was the best customer service we have every had, thank you Savanna. read more

Do not take your vehicle to this shop. They do not take responsibility for the poorly job they do. Allstate refereed us here so we did not hesitate to take it in. After about a year, the materials they used to fix our bumper started to crack so we took it back, the first thing they said was, someone must of hit you in the same spot but didn't leave any physical damage!!! Rally????Thats your excuse for the poorly work you guys did. Today I had to call Allstate to see if they can do anything about it costing me time and frustration. All I have to say is, Please take responsibility and don't treat your customers (ex customers) as if they are ignorant!!! read more

My father-in-law's (Michael) car required repair after an accident, so we went to Geico's recommended repair shop for my initial estimate. Since that repair shop (Advance Auto Body) was not local we took his car to Caliber on Pierce St in Gilroy. Drew and Manuel said they could do the job and work with Geico to ensure the repairs were covered. They identified additional damages that needed repair that most likely would have been missed or skipped by Geico's shop (Advanced in Morgan Hill) since it meant more cost. They dealt with Geico to get the additional repairs approved and completed the work in a quality and timely manner, although there were delays on Geico's end making payment to Caliber. Michael was very pleased with the quality of work done on his car when he picked it up, and Manuel offered him a free car wash in 2 weeks for having patience during the repair process. Michael was very happy with the way Caliber treated him and asked me to post this review for him. If you need auto body repair take it here. read more

AMAZING customer service and workmanship. Courteous, great communication from start to finish; delivered ahead of schedule, and work is PERFECT. I am very unhappy with my latest encounter at Caliber Collision. After bringing three different vehicles in for painting I was very unhappy how I was treated by the new manager, Drew Patterson. He had no interest in quoting me for some additional painting on my Suburban even though I explained to him that I was very impressed with my previous experiences and the quality of workmanship. He recommended that I take my car to Maaco. I also told him that the work done on one of my other vehicles was incomplete and needed a piece of molding replaced. Three weeks later and no response. I have filed a complaint with my insurance company. This person has no customer management skills. They have lost my business and I hope to let others know in my community how this place values people in Gilroy. Bring back Armando! read more
