They did great work on my wife's truck after she hit a deer. Biggest complaint I had was this was during the middle of the pandemic when they offered all medical workers and others to not require their 500 deductible. The Anderson sc center forgot that and my wife had to fill out a form and proof she was in the medical field and they said caliber would reimburse the 500 deductible. I made numerous calls and sent an email to their corporate office after 1 to 2 months of not hearing anything and no one ever got back to me. read more

I had my insurance call and set up an appointment with Caliber. When I got there, everything was already in the system which was great. The bad thing - the Caliber reviewer for my insurance company was nowhere to be found. He was apparently "running late" (found out he showed up at 12:00pm when our appointment was at 7:30am). Luckily, another insurance reviewer came out to look at the damage and take photos, but he couldn't give me any other details since he wasn't with my insurance. Fast-forward to the end of the day, and I still had not received a call. I ended up calling Caliber at around 4:30pm. I was told my insurance reviewer was there, but "checking out all the cars that were brought in today" and would return my call. I waited a day with no return call, so I called again and left another message. Finally on the 2nd day, he called me back to let me know the quote. I've been receiving text updates ever since, which is great. Anyway, still waiting for the car to be completed (about 5 days now). Hopefully it looks good as new. read more

The initial encounter was encouraging, but all went Dark fast. These fine folks took 5.5 Days to complete a very simple straightforward 12 hour job. I bought the vehicle to use, not stay in a service bay for days. They did NOT contact me or keep me informed as to status. When I called, they offered LAME excuses for delay.... They appear far better at fixing the Blame vs the problem. CONSUMER PARTNERSHIP ALERT They are joined at the hip with GEICO Insurance. Our experience with GEICO, as seen on TV commercials, is that they would be better suited for some area of animal husbandry. Both experiences have been dismal to say the least. I went in there for a GEICO appointment. The guy at the front desk ignored me for 10 minutes or so, doing other stuff without even a word. Then a woman, reeking of cigarette smoke, came in and asked me what I was there for (she had obviously been outside smoking instead of at her desk). She then talked to me as if it was painful to her to talk to a potential customer. She said that no estimate would be provided; they would deal directly with the insurance company and essentially I would be at their mercy. Now, this is not necessarily reflective of their work which may or may not be of good quality. Its just that the first impression, which is important in this highly competitive industry, was poor. First, they invited me to bring my car in at any time for an estimate. I brought it in first thing in the morning, only to find that everyone who gives estimates was in a meeting. Good thing they warned me about that before I spent 45 minutes waiting for someone whom I had personally observed walking around aimlessly for most of that 45 minutes. When I did get the estimate, they promised they would send it to me via email. They didn't. I called the next morning, and (after discovering that the front desk kept no records of quotes and eventually having to go through the list of their estimators - at my prompting - to get to the estimator who looked at my car) found out that this estimator meeting happened every morning! So happy that they didn't tell me that when they said I could bring in my car at 7:30am until closing. When I called yet again and was able to talk to my estimator, he said that he couldn't actually pull up my quote due to an IT system outage which may have had something to do with why I couldn't get my quote in the first place. That's why he agreed to take down my email (again? where WAS the paperwork I filled out, originally?) and would recreate the quote and send it to me. He didn't. I called three more times, only to find out that he was always busy with clients and he never called back, despite several messages and the threat that I had to make a decision that day. It was literally faster to drive my car to yet another shop and to get another quote from them than it was to keep fighting with these guys to send me a stinking quote! Thanks, Caliber. read more

Not the same company they were 5 years ago! Beware! Before I get into my story, let me share the moral for those who don't want to read in detail. Bottom lines are affected by the trust you create with your customers. You lose loyalty when you don't do right by the people who support your business. It's extremely unfortunate that there is zero accountability in Caliber Collision's customer commitment, and the lack of honesty in business will come back to kick you in the a** when you realize the most powerful mechanism for reputation management isn't online reviews -- it's word of mouth by way of a great customer experience. What's the opposite of customer service? Caliber Collision. I brought my vehicle in approximately two months ago for an out-of-pocket estimate. It was predictably high, so I returned the next day to go through the process of getting a separate estimate WITH an insurance claim filed. Before I left, I spoke with one of the managers, who told me one of the parts for my vehicle was backordered and that they would call me to let me know when they might be able to get my car in closer to a repair date. Tick tock. Four weeks. Never called. Shocking. But I did my part to overcompensate and reached back out to them. The first time I called, they told me the part was still backordered. Ok, logical. Right? Wrong. Another month went by and I called again. This time, I was given excuse after excuse after excuse, and finally put my politeness on pause to give them a dose of reality. When I pointed out no one had gotten back to me in two months, questioned them about the part and the estimate, the "manager" I spoke to had a flippant attitude and passed me off on hold to someone else. The next guy had a pleasant demeanor, but tried to give me the run-around, claiming there were two insurance claims on record (one of them was a claim filed 4 years ago through an insurance co. and policy I no longer have!!!) *insert eye roll* He then tells me his internal team never processed the estimate and SOW back over to my insurance company. Okay.... Got it. Next, he says he will call me back after he investigates -- so that he doesn't waste my time on hold. Great, as if I can trust that promise. I emphasized that if he did not follow up with some sort of communication by EOD, I was taking my business elsewhere. Adios, Caliber Collision. Ain't nobody got time for incompetence, dishonesty and poor communication. And back to the thought of wasted time... I just wasted the last two months of my life while Caliber Collision could care less. read more

I took my car to get the front bumper of the car fixed in 2013. Everything looked good until 4 years later. My day lights our out and I needed to fix them. The Volkswagen dealer said I have the wrong headlights on my car. Now I have to pay $955 plus tax and 3 hours of my life to get them fixed. Yes I'm mad and you guys have some explaining to do. I had a great experience at the Shop after my car had couple of scratches and was sent to the shop by my insurance. I came in for repairs and was expecting a huge bill, but I ended up paying nothing.The service supervisor was very sweet and personable. He seemed very honest and told me not to get body work done as its not required and the issue can be taken care by polishing it self. I have never seen a service being so honest and dedicated on saving money for customers. Great service until they have to fix their error on their dime. Had ny truck repaired at Caliber June 2021, front end damage. New bumper, grill etc. When the wooden shims they used of the bumper fell out the plastic trim above bumper started bouncing and slapping at freeway speeds. Took the truck back showed them the shims and they siaid they would call me to schedule the correction when they had a rental available. Monthe later I stopped in again, oh lets get it in tomorrow. Got the truck back still slapping. Returned they said they would order a new trim piece and call me. Again no call, I had to go back in. Scheduled the correction again. Get the truck back was told did not need the new trim piece they, "adjusted" the trim and fixed the problem. Nope still flapping, went back in where the gal at the desk new me by name lol. Told then still flapping. They said they would get the trim piece back from the dealer and call me. Yeah just like all the other calls I never got. Well since it has been over a month and still no call, looks like they do not plan to honor their LIFETIME warranty. read more

My experience with Caliber turned out to be a nightmare. I was originally told it would take 10 days, well that turned out to be over a month. The horror occurred when I got it back and 63 miles had been put on my car. My gas range was down to one mile. If I hadn't have pulled in to the first gas station I would have run out of gas. They gave no apology and no reason. In fairness, the work was fine, but the lame excuses and phantom joy ride they took in my car is inexcusable. read more

Overall great experience... and that says a lot because I am absolutely obsessive about my car. My vehicle repairs were done in a timely manner, and Alan was just about the nicest person ever when I went to pick my car up. He made sure to do a walk around my car to show me what work was done and to make sure I was happy with the repairs. They even cleaned both the inside and outside of my car! To me, that goes to show that they are all about going that "extra mile" for customer service and I would definitely take my car back there again. read more

Josh Lofty was superb. His customer service was exemplary, and he was well mannered. Russell Warren said that he would call me every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on an update for my car. He called once out of the four weeks he had my car. I was left hanging and I would call up to the shop, and Josh was as helpful as could be. I do not recall the ladies name at the front desk as well, but it sure shows that the front desk people love their jobs. When you cannot get an answer out of your contact at the shop, it was nice enough that you could rely on those two people. Since I have a limited lifetime warranty, I will continue to go to Caliber, but I will ask for a different Service Advisor. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would - terrible customer service. Of the few body shop experiences I have had, this is by far the worst. I went in on a Tuesday afternoon to get an estimate and was told I would hear back that afternoon or the next morning. The afternoon following, I called back and was hung up on. I called back Thursday morning and was told I would receive it that afternoon. I still have not received it almost a week later. An estimate takes 15 minutes to complete, and it shouldn't be this difficult to hear back. It is clear that they do not want my business by the way they treat their customers. read more

Don't take you car here, there customer service is crap, if they call you and need something they don't bother leaving a message, I went in to schedule an appt to have work done, dropped my car off the night before as explained, I call later that day to see if the work was done and was advised I needed to fill out a work authorization. so they told us to come back after 10 days, on 05/31/16 at 7am, promised us they will finish the job in 30 minutes, they only had to put back the new bumper, we arrived there and this clowns told us we need to leave the car for a week so they will change all the front even though everything was fixed already and the owner told us something else. we left immediately and we will cancel geico insurance and will join some other company till than we are stuck with an ugly replacement bumper:/ this place + the employees are a joke. Wow, all I can say is WHAT A MESS!!!! This center has no quality control what so ever. They do not pay attention to details. My husband wrecked our car. Not too serious of a wreck. The driver door had to be replaced, the front left shock and strut, new front bumper, and some buffing and body work. The shock and or strut make a metal on metal sound when you are driving down the road. We get the car back and the power does work properly in the drivers door. The auto windows, power lock if the car is turned off, and the sensor in the handle to unlock and lock the door. Also the alarm goes off if you open the door even when it's unlocked on that side. The handle on the outside slides back and forth horizontally and there is a serious rattling in the door when you drive down the road. They did not put the cover back on the inside of the front bumper which has a little mud flap on it. Half of the back bumper was not attached. We found a random bolt that goes to something. The lining in the trunk was hanging down and not attached. There was a small crack in the windshield when it was taken in. We didn't have the money to replace it at the time because of the other deductibles. They kept calling and asking if we wanted to replace it. My husband and I found that very suspicious seeing as how it wasn't a big deal. When we went to pick up the car, the crack stretched all the way across the window. There was a large indention where it looked like someone dropped something circular on it. If we would have agreed to get a new windshield then they would have ripped us off, seeing as how the extra damage was their fault. I am sure that I am forgetting something. I am very disappointed. This car was my birthday present and I don't think it's too much to ask to have it back in the condition it was in before the wreck or close to it. After all that is their job. They had the car for over 3 weeks. We are taking the steps to have this dealt with in the next week or so. It is ridiculous. Before you drop your vehicle off at this location please tell your insurance company to choose a different place. This was a really bad experience and it isn't over yet. read more

Do not imply that because you received a less than stellar survey, on a repair that was done poorly, that is appropriate to confront your customer about the survey and claim that the survey score was the key to getting the repair done correctly. Comebacks don't get good scores, be it on Yelp or through your own medium. read more

My car had damage to most of the hood and grill of the car. They told me it would take 2 weeks to fix. It only took 6 days to fix and they did a good job on the car. I took my other car to get the small dent out on Saturday and it was finished today. I would recommend caliber collision because they are really fast at getting your car fixed. Within the first two months of my arrival in Dallas, a driver decided to back into me in a parking lot. While I don't have State Farm, the other driver did and they covered my damages 100%. I picked Caliber Collision as my State Farm Select Service Repair Facility after the first facility I picked failed to meet my expectations. All I can say is that Caliber Collision did the opposite; they exceeded way beyond my expectations. All I had to do was contact Chad, their State Farm rep, and he handled the rest. I dropped my car off on Monday and they had it ready by Wednesday afternoon and it looked brand new! I told Chad I couldn't talk on the phone much and that email was the best way to reach me and he did just that, keeping me informed of the process step-by-step. The employees at Caliber are some of the nicest and friendliest people I have ever met, from the moment you walk in to when they hand you your keys back. I was recently rear ended and Travelers Insurance has a Concierge Claim service at Caliber Collision. Evidently they repair vehicles for a lot of dealerships, including my Jeep dealership. From the time you walk in the door, you are greeted by smiling, professional receptionists. Anthony Goodfellow handled my claim and Cindy explained the coverage process and gave me regular updates on the status of my repair work. She was a delight to talk to. Brian Payne was my service supervisor that oversaw my vehicle repair. You have to meet and talk to this guy. He is energetic and treats your vehicle like his own. There is also an Enterprise Car rental on site. Anthony Prado (sp) quickly took care of me and had me on my way in the rental that my insurance allowed. This is a "one stop shop". IF you are involved in an accident and have to get your vehicle repaired, there is no better place the Caliber Collision. read more

I took may car in to get fixed after a collision on November 1.2021. I was told I should have received it on 11/19, but I was told there was missing a part have this completed. I could pick it up on Monday. I was going to be called. I never received a call. I called on Tuesday and I Spoke to someone who was overseeing my car and he said he had been out the previous week on a personal matter. on 11/22 I kept calling and no one aswereed so I drove by the shop and I spoke to someone there. I was told my car would not be ready on because the car had a tire had a hole on it, the shop had ordered a new tire and they should get it on friday. I was told I would get a call on Friday afternoon when the car is ready. I never did get a call. I drove by there and they were closed. it is now Monday 11/29. I called them and they do not answer. I am going to drive by there now and see solution I can get. so far this experience has been less than professional and their communication has been less then stellar! read more

I had no choice but to use Caliber Collision after Geico Insurance had said that they had already began work on the car and taken the car apart. I was told later by one of the workers that there were no mechanics on the premises and that they just used technicians. I was told that my concerns about damage to my brakes and the fan motor (no a/c and no heat) were not caused by the car accident. I was told that they just used the computer equipment, scans, and codes to determine this. I don't know about you, but I am used to a live human being analyzing my car, taking it out on a test run, running the engine, using their live eyes, etc to make a sensible, educated, and professional opinion. Not by using a computer. The Geico Insurance representative wasn't even on the premise to look at the damages to the vehicle. He was making his determination from the pictures of the damage to my vehicle and the scans and codes that Caliber Collision sent to them. When picking up my vehicle, I had to inform the front desk worker at Caliber Collision that my driver's side mirror wasn't aligned properly. Never again! read more

Beau did my repair which consisted of a scratch on the back left corner of the bumper from another driver. He went through and fixed other scratches unrelated to that accident and now my entire bumper (on a 6 year old car) is flawless and all in two days! Cedar Springs Road, Dallas, Texas My vehicle had about $1800 worth of damage that was to be repaired by Caliber Collision. Caliber took a total of 5 weeks to repair, but that wasn't the big problem. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I inspected the repairs and paint, and they were shockingly terrible. 1. The paint did not match (still doesn't); 2. There were air bubbles and large paint drips; 3. There were buff burns in the paint; and 4. The trim that was replaced was about to fall off due to not being installed properly. If that weren't enough, 3 Caliber Collision employees tried to convince me that the defects in their terrible workmanship was not their responsiblity. Long story short, they fixed the trim and 1 air bubble, but left me with a terrible paint job and a diminshed value on my vehicle. Since posting this review, one of Caliber's higher-ups contacted me and offered to properly match the paint. I am thankful for this. Hopefully it was just the Cedar Springs location that is subpar. Unfortunately we had to get another repair done after I was rear-ended. However, Caliber once again exceeded our expectations by delivering more quickly that promised and a perfect repair. Our service advisor, Eddie Reece, was outstanding! Kept us well informed, and very professional. Hope we can avoid needing body work on any cars in the future, but if we do, Caliber will be the first and only option we consider! read more
