My one year old Lexus was hit and I wanted to take it to the best place in town...I was recommended to go to Caliber Collison by Kimberly Yow since they deal with the Lexus dealership. Twice in the last month (August, 2019), the manager, Ryan, has personally helped me out, even when the question was not related to an accident or other necessary body work. A year ago, the shop repainted my hood at my expense, just to have it look new after years of getting those highway gravel chips which take away from the newness of any car. Recently my Lexus dealership quoted me a price of $590 to replace needed hood struts. Ryan advised that if I bought the struts from the dealer, he would put the struts on at no cost. I paid $150 for the struts and Ryan was as good as his word. He put them on himself. Took 4 minutes. Which means the Lexus dealership was going to charge me almost $450 for labor that took 4 minutes! And just a few days ago I stopped by Caliber for advice in putting on a license tag as one of the nylon screws which hold the plates in the car, had the head snap off, keeping me from using any replacement screws. Ryan advised that I use a strong two-sided "3M" rubber tape to affix the plate to the car....and then he actually did it himself! Never seen such kindness and I've never known of a professional manager to do such work himself. Caliber, and Ryan in particular are outstanding! read more

I wanted to specifically mention Hubert at the Caliber Collision on 14000 Willard ave where I had my cars damaged appraised. The day I signed the release form I had travelled from Leesburg to get there, after riding 4 buses and over 4 hours later I arrived. A gentleman named Hubert offered to give me a ride to the bus stop because i had been carrying multiple bags that he noticed were full of my possessions. His manager approved of the ride and off we go, after telling him about my day and asking where I was going he offered to bring me closer to a point where I'd only have to take one bus to get home. I gladly accepted than came to find out he was supposed to be done with his shift in the next 20 minutes he still wanted to help me. We got to the closer bus stop just as it was leaving and he honked the horn got the bus drivers attention and he stopped and waited for me to board. This is the best auto body shop I have worked with. I was unfortunately hit in August and the entire trunk needed replacing. Due to the national shortages on parts this process was very long. Fortunately the people at caliber collision tried to make it as painless as possible. I worked with Tiffany and Tyler. They made sure I was updated every step of the way with time estimates and exactly everything that needed to be done. Tyler was very responsive either via email or phone to every question I had and even handled the communication with the insurance company so I didn't have to. I must tell you about my experience with Caliber in Chantilly, VA. From start to finish they have superb customer service! I wish every local business had this much care and compassion about their customers. I ended up going to the wrong caliber and the rep called the other one and said she can stay right here. They had me sign some paperwork and we went out and looked at my SUV. After that they even called Enterprise for me and had a van waiting in 10 minutes. Each time something was being done to the vehicle I would get a text or phone call. I even got a text saying we maybe done with your ride by the afternoon on Friday. Needed two days to get it into their shop. I brought the vehicle in on a Tues. and had it back by Fri. (granted it was just a bumper replace and paint, but you know how that goes).
