Had a great experience with Franklin from Caliber Collision. He answered all my questions, and investigated the problem with my lights until a solution was found. He was extremely courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. I dropped off my Miata to have the metal/paint on the rear QP and a bit of corrosion on the door repaired, and got the car back a week after dropping it off. The work looked great, though I noticed that a new painter-in-training accidentally buffed one side of the car, which compromised the ceramic coating and PPF where it was buffed. I met with the manager, Mario T, and provided him with a quote to have the detail work made right, and after a few brief messages, he very kindly and generously offered to make right on the matter by refunding me the cost of the original repair/paint work. Already emailed community manager at caliber collision 1/22 being called and hung up on multiple times stating they can't hear me even though they can just add to the fact that they deserve one star. Initially, my experience was OK, had a tree take out the cooling system in my car, about $6000 worth of damage. They had the car for over 20 some days. Everything was fine for about 1000 miles. After pulling into downtown Miami. The coolant outlet hose blew, and I had to drive home under reduced engine power it took a lot of shenanigans down here in Florida to get this thing fixed, but there are two bottom lines here: the coolant return on the turbo charger was leaking and broken and the adhesive on the coolant outlet hose was not a applied properly causing failure. Chevy had to do a six hour diagnostic a fog test and about $1300 of labor and repair due to the obvious vacuum issues. I think I've spent well over 80$ just trying to get around and Lyft while this has been worked on. Caliber collision in Fort Lauderdale is charging Sterling VA thankfully. I got an estimate online for some paint work on my BMW M5 competition and then went to caliber for a final estimate. I arrived first thing in the morning and was the first customer at the shop. They informed me that they do not do estimates without appointments and then some lazy clown in the back tells the girl at the front desk the estimate can either go up or down depending on the work without coming out to talk to me or offering help. I would avoid this place like the plague with shady dishonest behavior right from the beginning. Just a quick update I took my car to another autobody shop and they re-sprayed the front fender for free and told me just to buy them lunch. ***REVIEW REGARDING GENERAL MANAGER, CODY AND STAFF MEMEBER, GISELLE*** EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, UNWELCOMING, RUDE!!! I have had work done the last two times at Caliber Collision and have never had an issue. This time around, my car was hit so decided to again go with Caliber, who have done a good job before in the past for me. I was told by my insurance they have already put the order in for my car to taken care of. All I needed to do is call and make an appointment. I called Caliber Collision, spoke with Holly and she said she had to transfer me to a different department to set up the appointment. Holly is amazing, took amazing care of me before and after my issue. I then had the staff member in the other department, which ended up being a staff member name Giselle pick up. Giselle asked what I needed help with, I told her I needed to make an appointment for my car. Giselle then in return, says "appointment?" , with the most disrespectful tone. As if I am asking her something so crazy and how dare I ask for an appointment, and why I would ask for an appointment type of tone. I was im absolute shock and confused as to what is going on and why the Giselle is acting like I'm asking for something so insane. I then confronted Giselle regarding why she sound confused to what I said. she then brushed it off, a little silent and then goes "How can I help you?" and I repeated to her as to why she sounds confused with me asking for an appointment again. Giselle then pauses then I hear her say "bye" and so I immediately go, "wait are you saying bye to me?" in such disbelief. She then goes "no, how can I help you?" and then I tell her I'm done talking to her, she has been so rude and I need to speak to the manager. Giselle then replies "Theres no manager here." I then told her "Then give the phone to another staff member because theres absolutely no way I'm speaking with her." Giselle then goes, "There's no one here on the floor with me. We are closing soon so no one is here." (They close at 5:30pm, I called around 4:45pm) I then asked for her name. Giselle then replied and told me her name being Giselle. She then goes "What is your name?" I then go and tell her, she doesn't need nor deserve to know my name since she has been rude to me. Giselle then goes, "What is your name? You have to tell me your name!" I then are even in more shock this rude staff member is demanding I tell her my name. She continued on asking me for my name and being very confrontation with me. All of a sudden I hear over the phone her talking to someone next to her and saying to that person theres a lady on the phone saying shes rude and going on about it. I am in disbelief, Giselle is rude for me simply asking to make an appointment, demands that I have to give her my name, and then lies about no one else on the floor but her. She passes the phone to the person next to her. A guy then comes on the phone and goes "How can I help you?" no introduction to who he is or anything. I then ask him for his name, which he then says "Cody". I then tell him, how disrespectful Giselle is and I need to speak to a manager. "He then replies, I am the manager." WOW even more shock! this GENERAL MANAGER, CODY here completely had no emotions or concern with how upset I am with how his staff member is treating me and just non-chalant goes "How can I help you" with the most unconcern tone. I had to ask him , are you really the manager? He then goes "I said I'm the manager." I then in just complete utter disbelief. I told him he came on the phone without saying he is the manager when I heard Giselle tell him I am having a problem with her. I then told him, I understand now why Giselle goes around acting and treating customers the way she does, it's because he lacks any concern and gives absolutely horrible customer service as well and treats his customers like he is doing his customers a favor of even talking to them. I then immediately got off the phone with Cody. I spoke to Holly about my incident and how beyond upset I am. Holly apologized over and over about what happened. Which is very nice of her, but its not her fault or doing that there is people like Cody and Giselle in customer service. I told Holly there are so many other Car shop around the area, theres no need for me to go with one that treats their customers the way Cody and Giselle treated me. Holly insisted I speak to the Office Manager. Holly transferred me to Alexandra, the office Manager for all three Caliber Collision locations. Alexandra was so understanding and upset with the incident. Alexandra apologized to me being treated the way I did, she truly cares and understand how unacceptable with how I was treated. I appreciate people like Holly and Alexandra for going above and beyond in making sure they're able to do all they can to be apologetic and change the situation. One of the biggest chain collision repair center nationwide. There's another location nearby. Communication is good, service is excellent and they do take care of your requests on timely basis. Front desk is a breeze to deal with. Jessica is great and Timothy manages the shop well. On repair side, attention to details is lacking and mechanics do look over some items during the repair. I'm assuming it's normal human error but as customer one always expects impeccable job. They do much better than just getting by but I feel there's huge scope of improvement in workmanship and meticulousness. Overall, it'll leave you with a satisfied outcome on repair. The current part shortages/back log/supply chain issues isn't helping with the delivery timing. It takes time to get the car back in shape. It is listed as one of the GEICO Auto repair express shop and they also deal with most other insurance companies. They do have seating lounge and a coffee station. Also there's an enterprise rental car facility on the lot so it's easy to drop and pick up car after repairs. read more

Took my car here for repair because it was on my insurances list. Previously used them years ago and the service and repair was great. Fast forward to now and service has gone down. Dropped my car initially because they said they had the part only for them to call my husband 3 days later to say they actually didn't have the part. Heard nothing for days until I called and they were like oh yeah we have your part now you can drop your car off. Husband gets a text saying vehicle can be picked up January 2nd. Go to pick it up and get the "it's not ready yet we have one more thing to do". Like get it together. Would not go here again because communication is terrible, they don't stick to the timeline they give you and they have attitudes. Update: they promised to try and have my car done before 430pm called them at 345pm and surprise surprise car will be ready at exactly 430pm. Absolutely the worst service I've ever encountered. Scheduled service that was supposed to take a week...two weeks later still not done. Then I finally picked up my car to find another issue that did not exist prior to taking it to this shop. Called and scheduled yet again another service...a week has gone by and it's not resolved and they are now consulting with "an expert."this shop is a joke and highly unreliable with their estimates and their knowledge of repairing cars is highly concerning. I do not recommend and will never use this shop again. I called and spoke with a manager and now "magically" the next day it's fixed. I also emailed the generic address after a complaint, and shocker, no response! Jessica and Tiffany are extremely rude and unprofessional...they act annoyed to give status on the process or repair. Both should be fired. In addition there is no communication whatsoever! My car was there for over a week and nothing...no phone call, text, voicemail. I had to keep calling to get an update. My car had a gash in the front bumper. It was relatively minor but we wanted it repaired. The repair was good but took longer than expected. I intentionally came in for an estimate and returned 2 weeks later after being told the parts to repair my car were at the shop. I left my car with the understanding that it would be done in a week. The next day I received a text saying: "We have moved your vehicle into the shop for repairs. We have started ordering any parts you might need as well, just waiting on them to arrive. " so why did I come in for an estimate ahead of time and wait 2 weeks? Unsurprisingly the repair ended up taking 11 days, not 1 week. I was told the delay was due to a paint order delay. I understand this is an issue but had been told the parts needed to repair my car were in the shop. I guess paint is not a part. The work was good but I was disappointed that it was not done in the time frame initially estimated. I will go somewhere else if I need work done in the future. read more

No one wishes they get into a car accident, however if I had to choose someone to be doing the repairs it would have to be Caliber Collision. I was in a pretty bad wreck on 10/15/19 (I was not at fault) my whole front end was smashed up. While I was on the way to the hospital in an ambulance my 2016 Ford Edge Titanium aka Pearl was on her way to Caliber Collision. From start to finish caliber went above and beyond with the communication and keeping me updated about every process and step they've been going through with insurance and the amount of damage done to Pearl. At least every week I'd get some update and explanation of the next steps. Everyone I spoke to we very friendly, respectful, competent, and took the time to explain things in a way I would understand. Finally thanksgiving eve Pearl was ready to come home. They provided me with all the information upon check out and gave additional important directions. Their flexibility with my needs were amazing as well. Customer service is garbage. When I walked in brayden who sits at the front desk didn't even have the courtesy to look up and greet me. He kept his head down and proceed to ask how can he help me. That should've been my sign to just not do business here. I give them all of my correct information, but somehow I never received updates to my cell phone regarding the status of my car. They were sending texts to my emergency contract. Strike 2. Even when my estimation for my car was completed I never received a call nor email to let me know what they found/were there any issues/how much it would cost or take etc. strike 3. Then, I get a call from a lady on Friday letting me know my car would either be ready that day which was a Friday or Monday..... Monday comes I call in the morning around 11, I talk to brayden. I let him know someone called me Friday to let me know my car would be ready by Monday.. he says very monotone that it still needed to be checked and washed... ok cool. I call back at 3:30, he gives the same excuse in the same bland tone. At this point I let him know that he's rude and that I would like to speak to his supervisor... he puts me on hold for 45 seconds, comes back and magically all of a sudden my car is ready. How convenient. I get there and I speak to a younger lady with dark hair, pretty nice and answered questions that I had. I think her name might've been Nicole or Nikki. I noticed that I could still see visible scratches on my bumper (which should have been fixed, let me reinforce my sentiments when I say please go elsewhere) and she let me know that it was "repaired" and not "replaced", either way for over $4,000 I shouldn't have been able to see anything. I would never return here if it was the last place on earth. The picture I provided is my car literally right in front of the caliber collision as soon as i got there to pick it up. May not seem like a big flaw but it is you alls responsibility to catch errors like this read more

Several months ago, soon after my hubby touched up the paint on our garage doors, I miscalculated while backing into the garage managed to scrap against the rubber strip that has a bit of overspray on it! Aye carumba! I scrapped some of it off, intending to come back when it wasn't so cold, but forgot. It made contact in several places on my passenger side rear quarter panel. The white against the maroon of my car looked almost like it had been detailed on. Not! :-) After the second time I was approached by one those mobile dent vans that troll parking lots (gotta say, it's a bit creepy), I called Caliber Collision about getting an estimate to buff out white paint scruffs. Jordan answered and couldn't have been more delightful: upbeat, positive, knowledgeable, and eager to help! She was the consummate Customer Service Professional, something you don't experience often enough. After explaining what happened, she told me there was a possibility that they could fix the scruff for FREE! Really? FREE? Wow! They were able to work around my schedule - twice - and I went in a few days later to see Jessica. Jessica, was also a breath of fresh air: upbeat, positive, customer-service-minded, helpful and knowledgeable about what she was looking at. After inspecting it, she thought it was just a surface scruff and went and got some lacquer thinner. Less than a minute and a bit of her elbow grease, the white scruffs were all GONE!!! OMGosh, it worked like MAGIC!! And guess what? It WAS FREE! I offered to pay for her time, but she said that wouldn't be necessary. She was happy to help! I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. This was my second time at this location (previous was fixing Costco dent paid thru other guy's insurance) and both times, customer service reigned! So in my two experiences, Caliber Collision has always exceeded my expectations. My car was rear ended in mid to late September 2015 as it was parked on the street by my apartment. The at fault party had Geico as their insurance. When I contacted Geico, I was told to pick a Auto Collision Shop myself or use their recommended Auto Collision Shop close to me which was Caliber Collision. I wish I would've gone else where. When I brought the car in the staff members were very helpful. I informed them that I would need to have the car back by November 6, 2016 for a cross country trip. They said it would not take long to get the car looking like new. Fast forward to November 5th in the evening. I picked up the car and I was advised due to the suspension being replaced it would need to settle in and I would hear noises that I wouldnt normally hear until it settled. I drove around and something wasnt right with the suspension because over every small bump on the road the rear suspension would click. I also noticed that the bumper did not fit nicely by the rear quarter panel. I was advised to being the car in for a look over before I left. Well on November 6, they took the car next door to an auto repair shop. They put the car on the lift, checked over the suspension and tightened everything down. It still made the clicking noise. I was told it was ok for me to take it on my trip. For over 2,400 miles I heard heard the clicking noise over every bump and joint on the road. When I got to my destination, I took it to a Firestone mechanic who in 15 minutes lifted the car up and tightened the strut. Problem solved. During my stay I noticed that the door was rubbing tightly against the bottom portion of the door. When I got back to Virginia, I informed the shop manager and was told to bring the car back. I was told that door wasnt aligned properly and would be taken care of. When I picked up the car other concernsn like the bumper being realigned were taken care of but the door issues were not. I had to bring it in again. When I came back the door issue was supposedly taken care of and door realigned but it wasnt and was told it was the best they could do and no vehicle would ever be the same. At this time I still was patient. I called the Geico Area Manager and told him about my issues(the on scene Geico claims adjuster sucked balls at returning my calls). He advised me to bring it back. I did and the rubbing issue on the door was taken care, it was a simple issue. It was so simple that I forgot to mention the door issue. I was told to bring it back. This time I met a Ms. Sharon Smith, she looked at my cars door and said its sagging. She opened the door and said that the latch wasnt centered properly. She looked around and told me other discrepancies. On 2-18-2016 I picked up the car and my concerns were taken care of by Ms. Sharon Smith. She was very pleasant to deal with and actually made me feel confident leaving that day. The start of the whole repair process was long and painful but Ms. Sharon Smith made everything good at the end. Ms. Sharon Smith gets 5 Stars! . Unfortunately this shop gets less than that. read more

I chose this place because they had an insurance adjuster on site and a car rental facility right next door. In the future I would go else where. The final product repair looks good and the gentlemen doing the repair took the time to speak to me over the phone and did his best to improve some prior and unrelated damage. But the damage was not extensive and it took 5 business days to repair. I had to call for updates on the repairs along the way. When I went to pick up the car the color on the replaced fender did not match. 3 business days later after calling for an update I was informed the car would be ready for pick the next day. I anticipated a quicker turn around time and better customer service from the reception staff. read more

Got rear ended on a Thursday. Called my insurance and they give me a list of places to get my car fixed. I chose Caliber and they called me on Friday and made me an apointment to get the car estimated on Monday. I already knew that insurance was paying for it, but was told to do an estimate and then bring it back in later to get fixed. So after I took it in Monday I called after I had my car estimated and made an appointment for my car to get fixed Wednesday. My car was done Friday. The work looks good and everyone at the shop was fast and efficient. I would choose them again. I'm happy with the quality of work and quick job. read more

My daughter's car was hit while at work. Called the insurance company who told us to take the car to Caliber Collision as this place has a insurance adjuster. They stated it would be there and things would go smoother. Well that is far from what happened. We met the adjuster and were told we would get updates on the progress of the car. We was told they would have the car for a week. The adjuster was never available when we called nor did he ever get back with us. We did receive a text 2 weeks later stating the car would be ready on Friday. We get there to only be told the system was down and we could not get the car. They informed us to call on Monday. Called on Monday and was told the car was not ready and would be ready on Tuesday. Called again on Tuesday to be told the car would be ready on Thursday. On the 3rd week , on Thursday we go to get the car and it has over 21 new scratches from the front of the drivers door to the back of the passenger door. Mind you only the trunk was being fixed. Sharon, the manager, took the car back into the shop and circled all the new scratches and dings on the car. Kept the car again. Friday morning we get a call from the adjust stating those dings were already there and that we couldn't see them due to salt. Thankfully we had pictures to prove otherwise. So now we are having to deal with how to fix what Caliber Collision did to her car with the insurance company. My suggestion, never ever take your car to this place. And the only person I have found to be helpful is Sharon. I'm not sure what the outcome will be of the dings and the replacements that now need to be done, but I do recommend never to bring your car here. And one final thought, Sharon should go work for an establishment that appreciates her and would give her a good rep instead of a place that makes her do all their dirty work and complaints. read more

I have been to this Caliber twice in one summer - unfortunately, first, someone scratched my car in the parking lot and then I had a fender bender. Both times everything was great: - the time till completion was reasonable and they got it done early - the body work and paint job was very nicely done - the management was very responsive and kept me in the loop on the repair's progress. They explained what was going to happen and gave me a date for pick up. I was continually informed by text, email, and phone. The car was ready 2 days ahead of schedule and looks fabulous. First off, been trying to get a call back from the manager and no one ever called me back. I brought my car in with hail damage which required Caliber subbing out to 3rd party. The first time I brought my car in it sat for week and sub could not get to it so I came back and picked it up. Second time I dropped it off it took several weeks to get fixed. So long in fact that the amount of money my insurance would pay for the rental car was exhausted and I was left covering the balance. I had to contact them (I never received updates) and when i did they said my car had been done for days and they called me. Well no messages or missed calls, maybe they called someone else. When my insurance company contacted them about paying the extra rental car fees they declined. Poor communication caused this issue, the actual work was good. read more

Caliber Collision was recommended to us following a traumatic accident while traveling out of town. Caliber advised us to transport the car back home instead of having them do the repair, obviously a recommendation in our interest and not in their own. They spent well over an hour, with a half dozen ingenious people involved, getting our vehicle onto our uhaul trailer and refused to take any payment for their herculian effort. Our entire experience with them showed their outstanding concern for the individual and not just the vehicle. While we did not end up having any service performed, I have every confidence that their attention to detail would be equal to their customer service. read more

This place is the worst run auto repair place ever. I had my sonata car towed out to them and gave them all of my information over the phone. And for a month I thought that they were working on my car but they had lost my information and had not started any work. It ended up raking 2 and a half months for them to even look at my car because of there terrible communication at the front desk by a couple of ditzy girls who have no clue of what's going on. And the quote the gave me to fix my car for some front side damage after hitting a curb was over $13,000!!! And they wanted a deposit of over $10,000 just to start work on my car. I was all ready to just sign my car over to them just to take my car away and junk it but a friend of mine suggested I get a second opinion before throwing in the towel. So I got it towed out of there and taken all the way over to a repair shop in Hyattsvilles. And thank god that I did. And you won't believe what the price difference was! Only a little over $6,000 to completely fix my car. That's under half of the amount Calliber Collison would have charged me. Take it from me, stay far away from these crooks. If money isn't an object or time...then go ahead with these guys. They treated me horrible from the very beginning and they thought they could take me for a ride. Watch out read more
