Caliber Collision completely ruined my 2024 Dodge Durango. From the factory, it had a flawless black glitter flake paint job, and they repainted it the wrong color -- flat black -- with bubbles in the finish. They also tried to pass off a non-OEM headlight until I pointed it out. Even worse, they left my brand-new SUV out in the rain with no driver's side window installed. When I checked the car, there was water in the doors and on the seats. One of their staff brushed it off with, "It's not that much water." That's negligent and unacceptable. To make matters worse, Shay -- the person assigned to help me -- had an attitude every time I pointed out mistakes. The only reason I gave even 1 star is because the GM, Ken, stepped in and handled things professionally, taking accountability and trying to make it right. But the damage was already done. I have had to return a vehicle 4 times due to a bumper disconnecting after the initial repair. The location finally used OEM parts to correct the issue. The service person Darius has overpromised and underdelivered customer service. Only after I asked for the corporate number did he take responsibility for the work done. I have received a call from the rental car company suggesting that I now owe them for rental cost but was never told the vehicle was repaired. Now if you have to go as for Angie. Per GEICO insurance, they brougth my 2021 toyota camry and the person in charge of my repair was Darius, after the repair for collision the headlights were uneven and I had been waiting for more than 3 months for them to correct the problem, Darius will just reply over the phone "headlight is back ordered" I should have gone to TOYOTA collsion. The work wasn't done correctly the first time but they did correct it once we brought it to their attention. The thing I'm most upset about is the lack of professionalism here and out of kindness I won't put names, but it's very unprofessional to call a customer to CONFRONT them about a review they made. No trying to improve the service or apology. Which is fine too but don't go calling the customer about anything if you're gonna be handling things that way. It's unprofessional and uncalled for. Second, I completely understood their no dash cam or cameras policy 100% and even disconnected my cameras myself. I guess they didn't trust that the camera wasn't going to turn on and ripped the wires out from where they were tucked breaking off the clips that were holding the wires up. I specifically made sure the cameras wouldn't be able to turn on myself by disconnecting the main power source for a reason. I didn't want my system getting messed with or broken. Now I have to come out of pocket fix something that should've never been touched by them period. So I guess just make sure you take out anything you don't want them touching because they'll touch it even without reason. I also just want to reiterate, the cameras COULD NOT TURN ON. They HAD NO POWER even if the car was on. The cameras would not have power because I made sure the main power source was disconnected myself. So I respected their policy but they couldn't respect my property.. nice. Let's see if I get confronted about this review too. read more

UPDATE: I emailed this concern and Chris the General Manager responded promptly and shortly thereafter we got a text notification that the car could be picked up at 1pm. Therefore I updated my rating from 2 stars to 3. The repairs to the car appear to be well done; their communication could be improved. No one at this location will return our calls in a timely manner. Text notification updated us today that our completion date on collision repairs was changed from 12/18 to 12/19. The person answering our call only forwards the request for a return call to voicemail. We are stuck with waiting to know when we can pick up the car and this is putting other plans on hold. How can we get a human to call back? We were working with James. read more

Caliber Collision gets 5 stars and my sincere thanks. My Service Associate was Shay at the Cedar Hill location. I put a dent in my BMW 328i. The dent was on the rear driver's side door. It was ugly. I had gotten an estimate of $3 - 4 thousand dollars. I was concerned. I spoke with a good friend of mine and he suggested Caliber. Shay took such good care of me. she listened and reassured me that I would not be broke. My quote at Caliber was less than half of the original quote. I dropped my car off and 2 days later, Shay delivered my car to my home. So awesome! Shay gets 5 stars all by herself! Thank you Caliber and Shay for making this process seamless. read more

Warning DO NOT send your vehicle to this company. I have a 2015 Lexus RX350 and the bumper was damaged. They took the emblems off the the rear and broke them and then said they would be on back order but, I could pick up my vehicle and they would put them emblem on when they came in. I know once I pick up my vehicle I won't hear from them again. The thing that frustrates me is that you can find emblem online and it's available. I will never let them touch any of my vehicles ever again. BEWARE!!! read more

Had hail damage work done to my slk 300 Mercedes. They removed the name plate that goes on back of car, didn't replace it, and told me that it couldn't be replaced because, according to them, it was no longer being made. I expressed my dissatisfaction about not being notified beforehand that my car would be returned without name plate. The guy who did the work was completely dismissive of me and my concern. In any case, I simply did not believe him that a name plate could not be secured. Well guess what? I called the Mercedes dealer on lemon avenue. The same name plate this dude kept fixing his mouth to dismiss me. I have other concerns but I won't go into them here. Stay away from the location on 67 in cedar hill. i was referred here by my insurance company. BIGGEST WAIST OF TIME. I just left this repair shop due to its misinformation and extreme lack of customer service. When I scheduled my appointment I was told parts for my specific vehicle have been on back order and if my vehicle is drivable I was advised to keep my vehicle till parts arrived. After my vehicle was looked at I was advised to leave my vehicle without knowing an estimated time frame of the repair or ETA of parts. The insurance only allows 30 days for a rental. Why would I leave my vehicle which is perfectly drivable and start the timer on a rental. Apparently they do not have space to preorder parts at this location. Aside of that issue. The manager was not apologetic or mindful of the fact that I had to leave work early to take my care to this appointment just to be told I was missed informed by their reps and could either "take it or leave it". Customer service goes a long way. At this point I wouldn't even trust the so called "professional" at this place with my vehicle. Word of advise, go to service king. This will be my second time going to them for repairs. The customer service and training of their staff is five starts! read more

I have to agree with Silvia B. This place is extremely unprofessional. I too was sent here by Geico to get repairs. Adjuster allowed 2 days of car rental for estimate. (As a part of 30 day timeframe for repair time) Geico told me Caliber would assess the damage and provide estimate for repairs. When I arrived before even explaining their process, I was greeted by a staff member who told me I had to sign a liability waiver because they could not guaranty that my car would be repaired in the 30 day allowable timeframe for car rental. And as a result, I would be liable for any and all fees over 30 days. Went on to say they have a "backlot filled with cars waiting on parts for repairs. One car just needs a mirror - which is a day job, but it's been sitting for a month and a half". Ok, I get we are in a pandemic however there has to be some perimeters to the liability. For example, after estimating damage and needed repairs there should be a rough idea or estimate of time it will take to complete work, parts should be either available or not, even if on backorder - that in and of itself is an estimate. So I say ok, I understand things may go over a bit, however after you assess my car and compile an estimate we can decide how best to proceed. Perhaps I will wait til parts come in or perhaps the time delay will be minimal- and I will absorb additional cost. But until an estimate is done it's hard to gauge which way to go. Staff person told me if they do a complete estimate they will tear down my car and if they do that I HAVE to commit to them repairing it despite not knowing the timeframe involved and AGAIN IM liable for all extra fees. My reply - that doesn't seem very fair or ethical. I cannot assume liability blindly not knowing what I may be dealing with. No suggested alternative was offered - like, if waiting period gets to be too long, we can arrange to contact you so you can make an educated decision to continue or return rental. Moreover how about the fact that Caliber is violating the guidance Geico prescribes by not completing an estimate before customer signs away their wallet. I am a reasonable person who understands that we are in extraordinary times, but the customer cannot be made to assume ALL of the liability for the pandemic, labor shortages, back orders, fate or whatever else they pull out of the sky. Again, I know somethings are challenging now, but these people are using the pandemic as an excuse to shirk their responsibility, of operating in a transparent and fair manner or being accountable. AND just to muddy the water, if Caliber is aware of such challenges in meeting reasonable timelines for repairs - remember liability waiver- and, if you have a "backlot full of waiting cars" why keep accepting referrals from Geico? Why mislead potential customers by continuing to advertise that you can repair Geico referrals when you know that you cannot do so in a timely manner AND you don't have capacity to meet demand? This place is unethical, unprofessional, and rude rude rude. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere. read more

I HAVE HAD THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE AT YOUR CEDAR HILL "978 N Hwy 67, Cedar Hill, TX 75104" LOCATION. My truck has been in the shop now for over 6 months. The person managing my case no longer works at this location, no one reached out to me to give me any updates or tell me, no one has contacted me about my truck. Edgar (the employee that is now at another Caliber location that was managing my case) COMPLETELY RUINED ANY CHANCE OF A CLIENT RELATIONSHIP GOING FORWARD. I constantly had to do the reaching out, the e-mailing (with no response), most days I couldn't even get a call back. Then I had to reach out to my insurance agents for an adjustments he wasn't going to and was going to return my truck with damages still to the alignment and suspensions without repairs being completed. I've been waiting OVER 6 MONTHS. Meanwhile, I'm paying a car note still and am going to have to pay extra for my registration expiring while it was in the shop. THIS HAS BEEN THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! Then, I call yesterday and spoke to someone and was told the manager of the office was on lunch and they'd call me back in an hour. that was at 12:40 CST yesterday and I never heard anything. HE EVEN HAD THE NERVE TO ASK ME IF MY TRUCK WAS STILL THERE WHEN CALLING TO CHECK ON THE STATUS OF IT. Upon arrival Enrique came out shooke my hand as he greeted me by last name while introducing himself and providing information to keep me updated. I chose this location as I was hoping it would be a bit out of he way of the Main city. Upon arrival I simply checked in at the desk and Ray came out to go over my vehicle. It was a Thursday, so he ordered the parts and I dropped off my vehicle the following Monday. I was lucky enough to pick up just days later. I was concerned as my vehicle has a metallic coat, which I have been told is often hard to recreate. However Ray informed me they have a system capable of creating a formula to be spot on. I must say this space age stuff is good as my entire front bumper and fender were painted and I there was no telling even by my eye. Over all I highly recommend. I was recommended to go to this location from my insurance, Geico, and was immediately taken care of when I walked through the door. Great, friendly staff and quick service. I had mild cosmetic damage to my front bumper, however they made sure to check the entire engine and found other issues, but fixed them with ease. Ok first off, I never write reviews but let me tell you something about this caliber location. The staff was extremely helpful and if I ever manage to get into another accident I'd definitely take my car here again if I live through it. Samuel Barrientos the estimator here was the most helpful estimator I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He even estimated how much my burrito would cost that day. That's how good he is. At one point he was showing me around the shop, I ended up farting really loud but he never made it awkward he started using the compressed air machine to drown out the sound and blow the smell away. If that's not 100% customer service I don't know what is. read more

This place will stand out in my memory as some of the best customer service I've ever had! They are so kind and polite, everyone shakes your hand and greets you by name. They upgraded my rental for free, and even let me keep it an extra 3 days at no charge because I was out of town when my vehicle happened to be ready. They called me and told me my vehicle's process the whole time and texted me every time my car went to a new station for repair. They finished fixing it 3 days ahead of schedule and found ways to save money on the repairs while still making it look as good as new!
