Amazing service, one of the most professional auto repair/auto service places I've been at. I worked with Nabia to fix a dent in the back of my vehicle. The repair took roughly a week to fix and Nabia was transparent, professional, and thorough throughout the whole process. When I called to check-in on my car she made sure to clarify exactly what was happening -- she even made sure to test out repairing the existing, damaged piece to make it easier on me/my insurance cost-wise, versus ordering and replacing that part. Luckily it worked out, their team fixed the damaged structural piece and I did not have to purchase a new part. Caliber is also fully prepared for COVID-19. My car was detailed, my key was disinfected, the customer service desk had a plexiglass barrier, and all service providers were wearing masks. Overall 10/10! Highly recommend. read more

Ricardo is amazing!! I brought in my car with damage to the right side of my bumper from ice, and not only was he quick to check it out, but he fixed it on the spot free of charge. I couldn't be more grateful for Ricardo and the amazing team at Caliber Collision. Definitely check them out read more

Took my car into fix a passenger side rear bumper. The team at caliber was very professional and kept me informed and updated on the status of my car. The replacement bumper looks great, I can't even tell it was damaged. read more

A year after my car was stolen from this location and still getting the run around on trying to get out of pocket expenses reimbursed (car rental). Management and their insurance company unhelpful and stonewalling. read more

I have worked with this location on three occasions. The first two were through insurance for accidents and the quality of work was excellent. The third and most recent occasion was to repair a giant dent in my passenger door from hitting a pole. I was paying out of pocket for the repair so I was, admittedly, obsessing over every dollar because I am on a tight budget. Ako was extremely patient - he worked up several estimates for me and helped me determine what made sense given my budget. He also didn't get annoyed when I called him repeatedly with questions. As always, once the work was complete, it was impossible to tell there had been any damage. It looks so good that now I need to save money so I can get the door dings out of the other side, too! read more

I have been asking for a call back from my service advisor for WEEKS and nothing. Complete radio silence. This last time the woman who answered the phone said she would CC the manager on the email asking the advisor to call me and STILL NOTHING. Seeing as how Caliber just doesn't care - we are going to start exposing them on every review/media platform for not taking care of clients until someone deems it to call us. We will also be submitting a complaint with USAA to have this location and even company removed as a trusted party for repairs. Bare minimum of customer service is to pickup the phone and call (or even an email) and they can't even do that. read more

Every single person I worked with at Caliber have been unequivocally the kindest caring and knowledgeable people. Absolutely DEVINE! Ako in particular couldn't have been better. He the most empathetic and willing person who kept me up to date all week long and really went the extra mile. I almost want to crash my car again just so I can come back!!! They gave me a gift card AND a goodie bag when I came to pick up my car as well! read more

I had so much trouble communicating with the apathetic person answering the phone that I cannot bring my car here for fear that I could never get it back due to lack of communication! I need to have some work done on my car, I drove up and called the person inside to figure out how to get an assessment, she was terrible. So terrible that I'm leaving this stinker of a review. I ended up just leaving after learning nothing from her. Called another body shop and was immediately led through the entire process and my god was it a breath of fresh air after Caliber's terrible customer service. Honestly it pains me to leave a bad review but I have to be able to at least figure out the process of bringing my car in here to make it worth anything as a business. read more

Quick and reliable repair! Took my car in for minor scuff damage and they had it fixed and on my way in about fifteen minutes. Employee Ricardo and the manager Everth are both incredibly professional and will give you an honest estimate for any car damage. I will come back here again for any car repair needs. read more

Unfortunately, we are frequent flyers at this Caliber Collision location. Ricardo always goes above and beyond to ensure that our repair is done perfectly. He takes pride in his work and he and his business partners have proven themselves to be trustworthy! He makes sure that we only get the repairs needed and his estimates are always very accurate. I only trust my vehicles' body work to these guys! read more

I work on the air equipment and they stay on top of anything that goes wrong with them. Keeps the paint jobs at a high quality!

I highly recommend this location and Rick and his team. My cat was hit by a hit and run driver and was completely out of commission. Despite supply chain issues and damaged parts being sent, Rick kept me up to date literally every step of the way. Really appreciate how transparent and helpful he was. And my car looks incredible. So happy to have it back! read more

Today I picked up my car and in my hurry to go to work I did not overly scrutinize the work they had done and was in for a surprise when I got home and did a more thorough walk around. Let me just say that their customer service is fantastic, which is what is garnering them any stars at all. They put up with my calls and questions with much grace. The repair work is a different story. Bumper needed to be replaced and the quarter panel needed work and reprinting. Tell me why there were chips in the paint work, why the bumper doesn't match, and part of my door on the inside was not attached properly!? They had the care for 2 weeks to do these repairs and couldn't give me the 100% that I was looking for. I'm disappointed for sure. read more

Took my car here for an estimate and was helped by Ricardo. I had some minor damage on the front of my car that I couldn't fix myself. After inspecting my car, he offered to have one of his techs take a look at my front bumper and try to realign it with the brackets and remove the front bumper lip that was damaged. They realigned the front bumper and removed the damaged front bumper lip, FREE of charge. I was expecting to have to pay some fee, but Ricardo and his team were gracious enough to inspect and help me put my bumper back into place without any cost. read more

This is my second time using Caliber Collision in Crystal City. I actually took my car back over a year after the original service when I had an issue with a door latch. After investigating the issue they determined that the issue was from wear and tear, and not a result of their work. When I called in this time I spoke with Ricardo Cosme, the Assistant General Manager. Ricardo was great. He was patient and committed to helping me solve the problem. He was also willing to honor an agreement that was made with previous management. I am impressed with both the customer service and the quality of work from this business. I will definitely be going back if I need body work done again. read more

Came back like I promised and the service just gets better and better. Needed minor repairs and like always Everth is always there to help. Thanks again for your service and I highly recommend this Caliber location. read more

You never want to need a place like this but sometimes an idiot backs into you in a parking lot and, well, there you are. My daughter is 3 years old and loved the popcorn, books, and enclosed sandbox they had in their waiting area. The person who looked at my car was prompt and professional and gave me an estimate (my driver's side door was smashed in) that came in under budget and early. When the work was done you could not tell anything happened. I was called on a daily basis to update me about the status of the repair for the week that my car was in the shop. Needing a place like this sucks and you are usually not in the best state of mind when you need to find someone to fix this kind of problem. Do yourself a favor and call these folks and rest easy that everything is going to be taken care of in a fast, professional manner. read more

I've taken my cars to "high end" body shops in Rockville and Dulles and each time they screwed something up. This time I just picked the closest body shop to my apartment. Nabia Pirzada was my service advisor there and she was very knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. Everything was taken care of quickly and to my satisfaction - I'd bring my cars back here again. read more

This is probably the best customer service I have ever experienced. I recently got into an accident and my car was "fixed" at a different body shop in DC. That first experience was the absolute worst customer service ever. However, regional manager Eric Folks was super attentive and got me into the Crystal City Caliber location. He put me in a rental (of my choice - thanks Eric) and KJ and his team stayed in communication thoughout the entire follow-up repair. To top it all off, my car came back cleaner than I gave it to them in. I almost want to believe it was detailed. That right there is the epitome of customer service. If you want top-notch customer service with a dedicated team from start to finish, and even thereafter, contact Crystal City Caliber Collision. You will NOT be disappointed. KJ and his management team plays no games when it comes to delivering quality all the way through. Thank you Crystal City Caliber for making this an unforgettable experience! read more

Amazing service - I tore up the side of my car and looks brand new. I was concerned about if they could match the original paint color, and it's totally seamless- you can't tell at all that something happened to it. My service advisor, Nabia Prizada, was so helpful and really proactive in reaching out to me to give up updates on the status of my car. read more

The guys and girls at this place are great! I got my car back in four days and all of my questions were answer quickly. My vehicle was hit by another car. The damage was primarily on the left front vender. This was my first time getting into a car accident and Caliber Collision, Crystal City answered all of my questions regardless of how silly they were. The technician who was responsible for supervising the repairs to your car will complete a walk-around with you when you pick-up. You can also leave your Enterprise rental car there. I would recommend this location to my friends. read more

Took my car here to get some paint work done by Ric, and let me tell you he was the most out going friendliest guy I've ever met at a auto body shop. The work he did was great! Strongly recommend them! read more

I was hit in a parking lot by an uninsured driver so I took the car to Caliber and explained that it was minor but wanted to have an idea of what it would cost (the other driver was paying for it) or if I should contact my insurance. They provided two basic cases and offered to fix it and called me back once it was done. The repair work was done quickly, professionally, and very well. As a result I also took my girlfriend's car to have her car fixed as well. The manager is great and they communicate fast and do great work. read more

It was a pleasure dealing with the professionals at Caliber Collision just outside of Crystal City, Virginia. The staff was very professional, knowledgeable, and quick. Excellent, seamless, personable customer service. I will definitely return to this business in the event I need more repairs to my vehicles. Great USAA partner. read more

Made the mistake of stopping in when I found my bumper coming off to speak to someone about what could be done. Snotty girl behind the counter interrupted me asking if I had an appointment. If not it would be July. Tried to explain I just needed a few minutes to ask someone for a recommendation. Cut off again, more snottiness and she said it probably would only take a few minutes but I would need an appointment and none available. So I left. Disappointing as I had a great experience with Caliber in Silver Spring but I guess it is the norm with franchises to be hit or miss. She really took a lot of enjoyment in telling me no. On the upside I searched and found Auto Plus Collision Center in Arlington, 10 minutes away. Was met with a smile and a handshake and had a quote, in writing ..............in 10 minutes. What a difference. read more

I'm in love with the work that KJ & D did on my car! I don't like trying new places but it was close to work & had good reviews so I gave this shop a chance. I was not disapointed. From start to finish, everyone I encountered from calling to set up my appointment to making the payment and picking my vehicle up was nice, courteous and professional. I bought my car in on a Friday afternoon and it was ready by Tuesday evening. And my car was fixed back perfectly even the damage on the underside of the car where you can't see (yes I got down & checked). I was very impressed with the work done!! I highly reccomend Caliber Collision. Don't think I will take my cars anywhere else if it needs work. read more

The BEST in Alexandria! From start to finish, the team at Pohanka Caliber Collision have been a wonderful experience. I took my Subaru to this location a month ago to have some repairs done and from the day it was dropped off, they have been fantastic in terms of customer service, especially Miss Donna, the receptionist, she is super sweet. I had a smooth transition obtaining my car rental and getting constant updates on the progress of my vehicle. Granted, it took a month for the job to be completed (I rather that the job is done right the first time than rushing and getting it half a@@ed. So this time-frame didn't bother me); when I got my car, I was completely astonished at their workmanship and paint job. A+ There was a small detail that I pointed out on the initial pick up date, but Tommy, the manager, went above and beyond to assist me. Within a day, it was fixed. I was also notified that they back their work up with a lifetime warranty. So if anything happens to your vehicle later on due to their workmanship, it will be repaired for free. I am ecstatic and truly grateful that I brought my car to Pohanka Caliber Collision. There's not a lot of people who are passionate about their jobs. These guys genuinely are and they will take care of you and your beloved vehicle. I highly recommend Pohanka Caliber Collision for all auto body work needs. Thank you so much! read more

Caliber Collision was recommended to me by my car dealership service center. From the first interaction, my service adviser, Ricardo C treated me with respect and provided timely and understandable updates about the expectations for and status of my car repairs. It certainly made the process easier for me and they actually finished under the projected timeline I was originally given. I recommend Caliber Collusion to anyone! read more

Worked with Khalil who was super communicative, prompt and thorough with the work he did. Would definitely recommend!

My daughters car had the front bumper replaced and we just noticed paint missing. They didn't let the paint dry before they put on the bumper. Now they will have to strip the paint off again and redo. They used to be be great when it wagonworks but this chain bought it and now it's gone down hill. Update - my son in law took it back for a touch up and they said it was caused by a rock chip although it was there when she picked it up so they wouldn't touch it up. My ex owned a body shop so I know a few things about body work. Once it all starts peeling off (and it will) they will have to repaint the bumper again since they supposedly have a lifetime warranty. I used to take my Lexus there when it was wagon works and they had the best painter. It has gone so down hill with the chain body shops. I won't be going back. read more

I have had car damage previously done at an authorized Mercedes Benz repair shop, Caliber Collision will be my new go to should I ever need body repair work. They are awesome! A prior bumper replacement took over one month with the Mercedes repair shop, Caliber did the very identical repair in less than 5 days and at a considerably lower price! They are friendly and keep you informed of progress daily. I am so very pleased!!! read more

Great service!!! Ricky is amazing. He worked directly with my insurance, called and kept me up to date with the status of my car. I really recommmend this place to everyone. I want to start off by saying I thought I was taking my car to a well-organized place to have my car fixed well I was called in to fill out some paperwork not knowing that the paperwork was to send my car off to another location and then I was talked down to one of the young ladies like it was my fault and not hers for not communicating her job clearly with me other than saying just sign where the highlighted area is this place I promise you you should really save your time effort and energy to either taking your car there because the people are rude disrespectful and your car is probably 9 times out of 10 going to be shipped somewhere else anyway read more

Highly recommend this shop. My colleague Matt Lawson & I got into an accident on July 29th. I had a lot of damage but I was able to drive the car to the place of business, so I turned to Yelp to check out a few mechanics and Caliber Collision caught my eye as the most of the reviews stated that they were honest and the prices were reasonable. Caliber Collision did a great job fixing the car and surpassed our expectations on handling the paperwork from the insurance company, helping get a rental car, and on the body work of the car. The professionalism, kindness, hospitality, and pricing are some of the most incredible aspects of Caliber Collision, Inc. These guys really know what they are doing and it shows in the way they conduct themselves. The service was top-notch overall and made everything much easier and less stressful than I was afraid it could be. If I need more body work before I move away from Crystal City, Washington, there's no doubt I'll come back to Caliber Collision. Absolutely recommended!!!! Great customer service!!! Honest mechanics!!!! read more

Caliber Collision - After repaired - Body Shops Near Me - Alexandria, Virginia

Attempted to make an appointment but after a few minutes of interacting with the front desk person I changed my mind. It was like talking to a wall, asked if my type of insurance is accepted by them "a who" with an attitude, eye rolling and overall bad service. Calliber Collision in Shirlington is much more pleasant. read more

Caliber Collision made the post-accident process more infuriating than the accident itself and ruined all chances of saving my car. When I came to see the car, its seatbealts had been cut for no apparent reason, the windows were rolled down and there was a big puddle of rainwater inside the car. The bumper was also detached and inside the car. None of these places had been affected by the crash. When I decided to tow the car to another shop for another estimate, they failed to send the parts they had taken off the car. These included parts that had nothing to do with the accident and were extremely valuable. When I asked them to send the missing parts, they said they didn't have them. These parts made the difference between a cost I could afford and a cost I couldn't. My car is now unrepairable because of Caliber Collision. DON'T GO HERE read more

Legit. I don't know what else to say about this location. They did a fantastic job repairing our car. The paint is perfect, the body repair is excellent and I can't tell there was ever any damage. Their staff is responsive and helpful and actually seem to want to help you. Caliber even handled returning the rental car for me to a local car rental location. I don't know much about labor prices for auto-body repair but these folks have earned my loyalty, so, I can't say if they're competitively priced but after this last experience it doesn't matter if they're a bit more expensive than others in the area. I would recommend using this location. read more

Not happy with the repairs. Paint was grainy and rough; panels were not well aligned; headlight was not well aimed so the right side is higher than the left side; and hood is high on one side too. The shop didn't seem to care and didn't respond to my concerns. The insurance company sent an appraiser to look at the car after the repairs; the appraiser didn't like the workmanship. Glad I had an honest appraiser. I brought the business to the shop; at the end, the insurance company was more understanding. What an irony. read more
