I have worked with this location on three occasions. The first two were through insurance for accidents and the quality of work was excellent. The third and most recent occasion was to repair a giant dent in my passenger door from hitting a pole. I was paying out of pocket for the repair so I was, admittedly, obsessing over every dollar because I am on a tight budget. Ako was extremely patient - he worked up several estimates for me and helped me determine what made sense given my budget. He also didn't get annoyed when I called him repeatedly with questions. As always, once the work was complete, it was impossible to tell there had been any damage. I have been asking for a call back from my service advisor for WEEKS and nothing. Complete radio silence. This last time the woman who answered the phone said she would CC the manager on the email asking the advisor to call me and STILL NOTHING. Seeing as how Caliber just doesn't care - we are going to start exposing them on every review/media platform for not taking care of clients until someone deems it to call us. We will also be submitting a complaint with USAA to have this location and even company removed as a trusted party for repairs. Bare minimum of customer service is to pickup the phone and call (or even an email) and they can't even do that. read more

Amazing service, one of the most professional auto repair/auto service places I've been at. I worked with Nabia to fix a dent in the back of my vehicle. The repair took roughly a week to fix and Nabia was transparent, professional, and thorough throughout the whole process. When I called to check-in on my car she made sure to clarify exactly what was happening -- she even made sure to test out repairing the existing, damaged piece to make it easier on me/my insurance cost-wise, versus ordering and replacing that part. Luckily it worked out, their team fixed the damaged structural piece and I did not have to purchase a new part. Caliber is also fully prepared for COVID-19. My car was detailed, my key was disinfected, the customer service desk had a plexiglass barrier, and all service providers were wearing masks. Overall 10/10! Highly recommend. read more

I need to have some work done on my car, I drove up and called the person inside to figure out how to get an assessment, she was terrible. So terrible that I'm leaving this stinker of a review. I ended up just leaving after learning nothing from her. Today I picked up my car and in my hurry to go to work I did not overly scrutinize the work they had done and was in for a surprise when I got home and did a more thorough walk around. Let me just say that their customer service is fantastic, which is what is garnering them any stars at all. They put up with my calls and questions with much grace. The repair work is a different story. Bumper needed to be replaced and the quarter panel needed work and reprinting. Tell me why there were chips in the paint work, why the bumper doesn't match, and part of my door on the inside was not attached properly!? They had the care for 2 weeks to do these repairs and couldn't give me the 100% that I was looking for. I'm disappointed for sure. read more

Took my car here for an estimate and was helped by Ricardo. I had some minor damage on the front of my car that I couldn't fix myself. After inspecting my car, he offered to have one of his techs take a look at my front bumper and try to realign it with the brackets and remove the front bumper lip that was damaged. They realigned the front bumper and removed the damaged front bumper lip, FREE of charge. I was expecting to have to pay some fee, but Ricardo and his team were gracious enough to inspect and help me put my bumper back into place without any cost. read more

After investigating the issue they determined that the issue was from wear and tear, and not a result of their work. You never want to need a place like this but sometimes an idiot backs into you in a parking lot and, well, there you are. My daughter is 3 years old and loved the popcorn, books, and enclosed sandbox they had in their waiting area. The person who looked at my car was prompt and professional and gave me an estimate (my driver's side door was smashed in) that came in under budget and early. When the work was done you could not tell anything happened. I was called on a daily basis to update me about the status of the repair for the week that my car was in the shop. Needing a place like this sucks and you are usually not in the best state of mind when you need to find someone to fix this kind of problem. I was hit in a parking lot by an uninsured driver so I took the car to Caliber and explained that it was minor but wanted to have an idea of what it would cost (the other driver was paying for it) or if I should contact my insurance. They provided two basic cases and offered to fix it and called me back once it was done. The repair work was done quickly, professionally, and very well. Made the mistake of stopping in when I found my bumper coming off to speak to someone about what could be done. Snotty girl behind the counter interrupted me asking if I had an appointment. If not it would be July. Tried to explain I just needed a few minutes to ask someone for a recommendation. Cut off again, more snottiness and she said it probably would only take a few minutes but I would need an appointment and none available. So I left. Disappointing as I had a great experience with Caliber in Silver Spring but I guess it is the norm with franchises to be hit or miss. She really took a lot of enjoyment in telling me no. From start to finish, everyone I encountered from calling to set up my appointment to making the payment and picking my vehicle up was nice, courteous and professional. My daughters car had the front bumper replaced and we just noticed paint missing. They didn't let the paint dry before they put on the bumper. Now they will have to strip the paint off again and redo. They used to be be great when it wagonworks but this chain bought it and now it's gone down hill. Update - my son in law took it back for a touch up and they said it was caused by a rock chip although it was there when she picked it up so they wouldn't touch it up. My ex owned a body shop so I know a few things about body work. Once it all starts peeling off (and it will) they will have to repaint the bumper again since they supposedly have a lifetime warranty. I used to take my Lexus there when it was wagon works and they had the best painter. It has gone so down hill with the chain body shops. I won't be going back. read more

I took my Subaru to this location a month ago to have some repairs done and from the day it was dropped off, they have been fantastic in terms of customer service, especially Miss Donna, the receptionist, she is super sweet. I had a smooth transition obtaining my car rental and getting constant updates on the progress of my vehicle. Granted, it took a month for the job to be completed (I rather that the job is done right the first time than rushing and getting it half a@@ed. So this time-frame didn't bother me); when I got my car, I was completely astonished at their workmanship and paint job. A+ There was a small detail that I pointed out on the initial pick up date, but Tommy, the manager, went above and beyond to assist me. Within a day, it was fixed. I was also notified that they back their work up with a lifetime warranty. So if anything happens to your vehicle later on due to their workmanship, it will be repaired for free. Caliber Collision made the post-accident process more infuriating than the accident itself and ruined all chances of saving my car. When I came to see the car, its seatbealts had been cut for no apparent reason, the windows were rolled down and there was a big puddle of rainwater inside the car. The bumper was also detached and inside the car. None of these places had been affected by the crash. When I decided to tow the car to another shop for another estimate, they failed to send the parts they had taken off the car. These included parts that had nothing to do with the accident and were extremely valuable. When I asked them to send the missing parts, they said they didn't have them. These parts made the difference between a cost I could afford and a cost I couldn't. My car is now unrepairable because of Caliber Collision. DON'T GO HERE read more

Legit. I don't know what else to say about this location. They did a fantastic job repairing our car. The paint is perfect, the body repair is excellent and I can't tell there was ever any damage. Their staff is responsive and helpful and actually seem to want to help you. Caliber even handled returning the rental car for me to a local car rental location. I don't know much about labor prices for auto-body repair but these folks have earned my loyalty, so, I can't say if they're competitively priced but after this last experience it doesn't matter if they're a bit more expensive than others in the area. Not happy with the repairs. Paint was grainy and rough; panels were not well aligned; headlight was not well aimed so the right side is higher than the left side; and hood is high on one side too. The shop didn't seem to care and didn't respond to my concerns. The insurance company sent an appraiser to look at the car after the repairs; the appraiser didn't like the workmanship. Glad I had an honest appraiser. I brought the business to the shop; at the end, the insurance company was more understanding. What an irony. read more
