Even before my car got there, they checked in with me, assured me they'd take good care of my car, and they'd call to let me know what needed to be fixed. They called me a couple hours later just to give an update that they were booked but would get to my car as soon as possible. They were completely honest from the beginning that it might be a couple of days. The very next day they called to tell me they'd figured out what was wrong, let me know it was covered, and they offered me a loaner since they'd need to order a part and it would be a few days before my car was fixed. Getting the loaner was a very easy process too. Just a couple of days later they called to give another update- it wasn't fixed but they just wanted to check in. They didn't need to do that but they did and I thought it was extremely thoughtful. I actually added my regular service since they had my car and they were very upfront about what was included and how much it would cost. When my car was ready, they called again, explained everything they did, and let me know when to pick it up. When I went to pick it up and drop off the loaner it took just a matter of minutes. Everything was the price they promised and my car was ready to go. I found it nice that they even washed it very well and cleaned it. I think the car was even more clean than when they got it! I had a very bad experience at another Hyundai service location so I really wasn't sure what to expect at this location. I was pleasantly surprised from start to finish and now I won't go anywhere else!

You can go to Midas for 40-50 bucks. After telling them that price seemed a little high, they tried to influence me to bring it in anyway, which I knew would put me in a situation where I had to uncomfortably negotiate or walk out and start over. I got service done here a while back as well and they were by far the most expensive choice. I unfortunately did not want to call another tow service to remove it from the location so I got the work done there.They tried charging me a $200 diagnostic fee. They said it's an hourly rate, but the mechanic who looked at my car slipped up and said he only "diagnosed" it within 15 minutes. They refunded me the fee after I explained to them my perspective which was nice, but the overall price of the service was much higher than other mechanics I got quotes from. Perks on the customer service quality, but genuinely if you're looking for the same level of service at a lower price, I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Maybe buying a car here is pleasant but don't get service here. Scheduling was an exercise of calls, emails and texts that was the worst--the app to schedule service wouldn't work for this location. The check-in associate was pleasant enough but the rest of the experience was a disaster. There was no sense of urgency, and the overall hospitality felt indifferent. My vehicle sat untouched for 30 minutes past my appointment time. The staff didn't inspire confidence either. Several employees appeared disengaged, leaning on customer vehicles and scrolling on their phones. I literally had to ask them not to lean against my car while doom scrolling. I observed this many times with my car and other cars in server area. I was also told to pay for a cabin filter that should be covered under the 15K complimentary service--on a car with only 5K miles. Questionable at best. To top it off, I brought in a recall notice and was told there was no recall, despite it being documented both in the letter and online. Frustrating and concerning. This is not luxury service you'd expect. Going forward, I'll be getting future service at Springfield or Rockville location, and GOING BACK to Volvo for my next vehicle lease.

While shopping around the DC Metro area for a reputable shop to do the work or that "could" do the work- I was met with no returned phone calls, "....cant do it..." and no returned emails from the "contact us" form from a majority of businesses..... I saw Iron Mike's reviews on Yelp- pretty much all 5 stars coupled with a family run business and decided to consider them. My inquiry was returned almost immediately with a very fair and attractive quote, and they were more than accommodating in scheduling a mutually agreeable appointment time. While the location of the shop is somewhat off the beaten path of 355 proper in an area that time has seemed to have forgotten- I arrived at the agreed upon time, was greeted in a most welcoming manner and Iron Mike's took it from there. I was assured the work would be completed and I could pick my truck up at the end of the day so I decided to visit the Original Pancake House and explore White Flint and Rockville for the day-- To my surprise, just a few hours later, I got a phone call from Iron Mike's and was advised my truck was ready, everything went smoothly and I could pick up my truck any time. When I arrived, I was more than surprised to learn that because the job went a little quicker than anticipated, my bill was well under the quote and was incredibly fair !!!! It is so nice to see a business that appreciates YOUR business, coupled with taking pride in their work and more importantly doing a great job. It is also abundantly clear Iron Mikes knows their way around a car or a truck- and are very honest mechanics which is a rarity in this area.
