Terrible experience. Went in to simply get a quote for my car after getting in an accident. The lady who "helped" me was probably the rudest and most unhelpful people I've had the displeasure of speaking to in a long time. She is definitely not fit to be at the front desk or any customer service role for that matter. I had to walk out and find somewhere else. I would rather drive around with a damaged vehicle than be serviced by those people. If I could give -5 stars I would. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. read more

My car was in for insurance repair. The front bumper cover needed to be replaced. They kept it for 3 weeks but it still wasn't ready! They were also terrible at communicating the status of the repair! I called several times but there was no update. I received an automated message that said my car would be ready on a certain date but you it wasn't. They also said that they do "Quality Control" but I don't think so. I think it's just a stall tactic. They never offered a written estimate. That should have been my first clue. The quality of the work was nothing special. Especially for the length of time they keep me car! I will never go there again and I hope you will not either. read more

My car when in for an insurance repair And I had issues from the beginning. First they said the part needed for my car was out of stock but I called a few dealerships and found it just for them to tell me I had to pay for it because it was not from the location they normally purchase from. My insurance got involved and it was purchased by them and it fit. Secondly they reached out saying quality control needed to be done. When I got to pick it up there were nicks all over my car. They put some type of compound on my leather. So not quality control was done at all. I have to take it back and get it redone. Which I'm not happy about and not sure it will be done with quality. It was not a great experience. read more

Arlington Collision Center is a dirty place but - you know what - body work on a car is a dirty job. I lost a confrontation with a tree recently and my car needed some body work. I called several places, all of which sounded awful over the telephone. I selected the closest place to me which was Arlington Collision Center. I got a date and a time but was clearly told that it was NOT an appointment, only a suggested time that might work. I walked in and, guess what, Jeff saw me immediately. He was thorough, friendly and knowledgeable. I have nothing but high praise for him. When I could not decide whether to use my insurance, he presented me with an estimate that would work whether I did so or not. One glaring exception to the high quality of work here is the receptionist. I did not get her name but she was bad over the telephone and she was worse in person. Kind of rude and I think she knows it. As long as Jeff stays there, though, I will be happy! read more

Military/USAA Members Beware - Frustrating Experience at Arlington Collision Center As a USAA member and military veteran, I want to warn others about my disappointing experience with Arlington Collision Center and USAA's referral process. I dropped my vehicle off for repairs on June 2, 2025, based on Arlington Collision's confirmation that they were ready to begin work. The USAA adjuster told me repairs would take 10 to 14 days, so I arranged a rental car through Enterprise, expecting to be covered for about 10 days under my policy's $600 rental limit. On June 4, I received a repair update stating the car wouldn't be ready until June 20--much later than expected. I called the shop and was told my vehicle was still on track for a June 12 completion, and I would be contacted if there were any delays or parts needed. No such notification came. Then on June 9, I was informed again the car wouldn't be ready until June 20. When I called for clarity, I was told the person who gave me the June 12 date "must have been looking at the wrong file." That's hard to believe, especially since I confirmed my name and vehicle during the earlier call. Unless there's another customer with the exact same name and car, I find that explanation highly questionable. No one mentioned any issues with parts or complications--just that they had "a lot of cars." If they weren't ready to do the work, they shouldn't have taken the car in or given me misleading timelines. Now I'm stuck returning my rental by June 11, out of coverage, and without transportation for over a week--all due to poor communication and mismanagement by Arlington Collision. This is unacceptable. To make things worse, I later checked their Google rating: 3.915--below average for a DC-area repair shop. Frankly, I expected better from a USAA-recommended provider. In hindsight, I deeply regret not researching this shop sooner. This experience has left me not only frustrated but also questioning USAA's referral standards. I hope USAA will review their relationship with this shop and take steps to ensure other members don't face similar headaches. read more

Well they did fix my car so they get two starts. However, the guy that I had to deal with most of the time was one of the rudest people I've ever had to interact with...if you have USAA go somewhere else cuz I think he does all of those claims. You know how there is a nice way to say something, well he NEVER does that...he always says things in the most rude and dismissive way possible. On top of the terrible experience with the employees they also had my car FOREVER! It was supposed to take 14 days, on the day I was eager to get my baby back I called, got bounced around by a couple of employees (all of whom seemed bothered by my call) to be told it would not be ready until the following Monday?! Again I'm following up on Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday of the next week and being told each day that they hope it will be ready tomorrow. When all was said and done they had it a full week past the promised completion date! read more

is difficult to praise the Arlington Collision Center enough as competent and professional. After my Tesla was in an accident, Arlington Collision Center worked directly with my insurance company to obtain payment for the damages. Their estimate for the repair was detailed, furnished to me, and accepted by the insurance company without any problems. The repair work was excellent. For example, the paint on the repaired front quarter panel and door is indistinguishable from the factory paint job. The job was completed in a relatively short time because they have experience ordering parts from Tesla, which is not always a frictionless process. The staff was uniformly courteous and knowledgeable. They kept me informed about the repair status by phone, email, and text. If I could give more than five stars, I would. read more

I just had a scrape on my car door against the cement pole when pulling into the garage. Then the passenger side in the front would not open. I took it to my trusted mechanic, Jim, at Exxon in Shirlington, and he recommended these good people. At first glance, they told me the door would need replacing. But on second thought, he had someone else look at it. And after 20 minutes or so, they came back with the good news that they could repair with a minor adjustment. I will definitely go back for any future body work. They were courteous, timely and above all HONEST! read more

Arlington Collision Center in Arlington repaired my vehicle in a timely manner and the repairs are 100% perfect. My insurance company sent me here for work on my front bumper. Would recommend to anyone who needs professional work done on their vehicle. Friendly staff and they keep you updated throughout the process via email. Paul was an outstanding case manager and walked me through the process. They got my car back a day earlier than promised and even detailed it which is a bonus. I would definitely bring my vehicle back here if needed in the future. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Jeff submitted an estimate to my insurance company and then the next week decided he wasn't going to complete the work. Now I have to go back to my insurance company and figure out our next steps to getting a new collision center assigned. Not only did he waste our time while he did the estimate- over an hour, but also is now wasting my time having to go back through my insurance company to figure out the next steps to getting a new quote from a new collision center. Very unprofessional and rude. read more

Needing a car repair shop is never a fun experience but Arlington Collision Center was responsive, helpful and did a fantastic job from the initial estimate all the way through completion. John was my main contact and he went above and beyond in following up, correcting the estimate when the damage was clearer and even wound up talking to our insurance contact when the insurance person stopped by because of another claim. Thank you John! read more

I recently took my car in for an issue it turned out had been caused by the dealer while they were doing an unrelated repair. ACC's representative fixed it for me on the spot, no charge. I decided to go ahead with two other things I'd been procrastinating on--a damaged bumper that happened in my garage, my fault, and replacement of very ancient headlights (I drive a 2005 Honda Accord). The representative was very clear about explaining the estimate and managed my expectation in particular regarding the headlights replacement. The work was done timely and a bit under the estimate price. Plus--my vehicle was sadly in need of cleaning and I was planning on having it detailed in a couple months as a 20th "birthday" present. But at no extra charge, ACC cleaned the interior, so now I'll put it off further. Thanks so much to everyone at ACC! Great customer service all around. read more

We agree with the review from Julie H in the fact that the guy you deal with over the phone is rude and condescending. Also, the receptionist provided false information saying the service was cancelled twice by us so the parts for our vehicle were sent back. Who does that without confirming or notifying the family or insurance company?? When this all began about a month ago to set up the original assessment appointment, we spoke with Felix who was cordial, professional, and a kind gentleman unlike his partner. Our car is now being repaired at another service center with professionals who have impeccable customer service. read more

After reading reviews here and reading the site, I took our 2017 VW Golf to Arlington Collision Center. I did the original estimate online. The process was easy, and I had a quote for the repairs very quickly. I arrived with the car a couple of days later, and after visually inspecting the vehicle, service representative Paul, walked me through the estimate and how long the repairs would take. During the repair process, the Center kept me updated via email. Due to a part that took a bit of time to arrive, the repairs took three days longer than the original estimate, but Paul and his colleague were excellent in communicating what was happening, both by email and phone. The moment the car was completed, they called. They did a marvelous job repairing the car: it looks like new. They also kept to the original estimate and cleaned and vacuumed the vehicle. They took all necessary COVID precautions. If you need body work on your car, this is the place to go. read more

Took my 2017 Honda CRV in for repairs after a fender bender on I-395. They did excellent work on the repairs, perfect color match, and got it back to me a few days earlier than promised. They worked seamlessly with my auto insurance company...everything done to my satisfaction! read more

This is a 10-star facility! Mr. John Davis is extremely professional and a guru at what he does! He answered every one of my emails (which I sent a plethora of) immediately and in great detail. He kept me informed almost daily! They completed my Knyght in 39 days! A previous body shop had my Knyght for 109. I won't say anymore!! My Knyght was impeccablely repaired. If you are insured with State Farm, definitely come here!! They are one of their specialty shops. I'm a review person; however, I will give a business at least one try! I am soooo glad I came here!! I highly recommend Arlington Collision Center for major body work. My Honda Fit needed huge repairs after I was rear ended at high speed by an SUV. The repairs restored my car and I was kept informed of the progress. The reason for less than 5 stars was because my car was returned to me with a very dusty, dirty interior --- which I only noticed the next day upon closer inspection and the floor mat was missing but I got it back the next day. I've since driven the car 900 miles and no issues. read more

Be careful going here. This collision center got assigned to my claim and everyone seemed generally nice. Communication is there on email, but don't be fooled by estimated completion date. It took me nine days to get my car back. The results were quality work upon receiving my car, BUT MY WHOLE CENTER AND SIDE CONSOLES WERE RUMMAGED. THINGS IN MY CENTER CONSOLE WERE MOVED INTO MY SIDE CONSOLE. MY SPARE CHANGE AND CAR CHARGER ENDED UP MISSING. Parking can be a hit or miss. Sometimes it is super congested while other times it can be empty. It is a narrow parking lot. Two stars because the work looks good, but be careful about trusting this place... read more

I had a minor fender bender that broke some plastic trim on my car. The dealer gave me an estimate of $500 for parts and then told me I would have to go to autobody. I found this Collision center and Felix provided an estimate within minutes -- parts and labor -- which was significantly lower than the dealership. Felix even explained to me why it would not be worth it to replace a section of the bumper. They did the repairs in one day during the next week and they came in under their estimate! In a sea of collision centers, they truly stand out and Felix did an outstanding job of managing the repair. I never take the time to write reviews but I had to make an exception for Felix and his crew. read more

Went with this body shop after a fender bender. It was partnered with Safeco, my insurance provider. The Good: - Mike provided a quick estimate and repairs started a weekend later - Lots of emails from "Iris" on the status of the repair - The body work and repairs done was of decent quality. The Bad: - Despite multiple emails saying my car would be done on 10/3, and that I would be called if this changed, I never got a call and the car was not ready (panel not adjusted) when I tried to pick it up. It took 20 minutes to figure out why it wasn't ready. - On day 2 I came to pickup the car. The front right wheel was not repaired, but polished. - When I started the car, I got a message that the "TPMS" system was inactive. I tried resetting to no avail. Went back in to get it sorted. - One person came with a detector as I talked to my adjuster on the phone about picking up the car and the problems I was having. He tells me to "calm down" and thinks I have low pressure in my rear tire. Nope - system is still down. - Waited around for about an hour as he tries to fix the problem. He takes it back into the shop and puts it on a lift. - Turns out the sensor was never reattached and reset. read more

My boyfriend had his car there for work done. Though the work was satisfactory, what wasn't satisfactory was that he came in with a personal tire cover, a Christmas gift from me last year, and instead of getting it back after they finished the work, he got a replacement cover for a Jeep dealership we never went to. And they never offered an explanation or anything for its replacement. Also, a kid's change purse filled with a lot of loose change was accidentally left in the car and unfortunately for us, it disappeared as well. Someone was desperate enough to steal that. I realize that most places put up a disclaimer about not being responsible for theft so maybe whoever took the change purse thought we wouldn't miss it, my 4-year old niece does, but a tire cover at an auto repair shop, really? Now that I've read the other reviews, it shouldn't surprise me. Just know that you are taking a chance when dealing with this body shop. Make sure to clean out your care of valuables if you plan to go there to get work done. read more

Mediocre service. They work is good. They put approx. 2,100 miles on my truck, stole several items out of my truck, deleted my paired phones, reprogrammed my radio stations and settings, and left behind their personal belongings. When I called to tell them, they said you signed paperwork we aren't responsible for items left in the vehicle. If you don't mind your vehicle being used as a rental and the things listed above use them. Two of the ladies are kind the rest of them are not. I wouldn't take my truck there again. Not worth the miles they put on my vehicle or the customer service. They had it over Christmas and new years, I'm sure someone had a great road trip. This review is for the quote, as I did not continue with them. GOOD: These guys were super fast with a professional, itemized quote on the damage to my car. They provided two copies, one for my records and one for those of the individual that caused and would be paying for the damage. BAD: - However, that quote was (1) estimated to be high during an initial review by Caliber Collision, located just down the street, and (2) ~$600 more than what the GEICO damage inspector concluded. I know the latter was going to be cheaper because GEICO has a deal with a body shop or whatever, but that much cheaper!? That's suspicious. - The representative I spoke to didn't really explain the items in the quote to me. ?? - I asked if I could reduce the price of the quote if I didn't get my bumper and fender repainted, since I can do that myself. The representative refused to eliminate the items from the quote. I don't know if this is standard or not. read more

I read the reviews before going there and noticed a lot of people talking about their stuff having been gone through. So...my dad hit my car. Yes. I'll say it again. My dad hit my car. As he's hitting my car, he is basically telling me all about the local developments in my hometown of Atlanta, not understanding that he is hitting my car, while I'm yelling, "DAD! DAD! STOP. YOU'RE HITTING MY CAR. YOU'RE HITTING MY CAR!!!!" So, after the old man realized it, had a mild panic attack, he filed his insurance claim, and off we went, in to the magical land of insurance companies and insurance adjusters. I had gone to a few body shops, prior to ACC, all of which gave me the same estimates and time to repair. Pop's insurance company called me and recommended Arlington Collision Center. I called them to set up a time to give me an estimate. The people here are super-friendly and very cool. I will say it was painless and while I realize this was insurance-related, there was no haggling involved. I'm also pretty confident if I had received another estimate that was lower, this body shop would honor the estimate. They seem eager to please. They did a great job and gave my car a nice new wash. My dad will be relieved. Poor dude. read more

I tried to get quotes from a few different places after a raccoon decided to commit suicide against my front bumper on 395. There are an endless array of shops along Four Mile Run which can be overwhelming, but I ended up here because of the stellar yelp reviews and also because they're a preferred shop for my insurance company. Walking in for the first time the office is very clean and open. The employees are friendly and welcoming. I got an estimate without an appointment and I was out in 10 minutes. I called USAA and told them to send over a work order and dropped off the car the next day. They email you daily updates on the progress of the repairs. This is a nice perk as most shops go radio silent for weeks leaving you to wonder if they've even started yet. My car was even done earlier than estimated. When I got my car back the replaced bumper was fit and painted perfectly. It looked brand new. It was definitely the smoothest, most pain-free experience I've had dealing with a repair shop. Hopefully I won't need repairs on my car again, but if I do I will gladly go back to Arlington Collision Center. read more

To say that I was impressed after my experience at Arlington Collision Center is a serious understatement. I accidentally scraped (gouged) the back passenger side corner of my Civic (Arlington parking garage - in a spot between 2 concrete columns. No fun.), and brought it here for repair after seeing other good reviews on Yelp. The establishment is clean, bright, easy to get to, and full of friendly, professional people that totally put me on ease. They finished my car on time and under budget, and provided daily updates along the way. Super helpful and easy to work with. The best part? My car looks brand new as though nothing had ever happened to it, which is impressive considering the column gouged into the door, back panel, and even a tiny bit of the bumper. I hope I never have to get body work done again, but if I do, I'll definitely go back. read more

I had my 2015 Lexus IS 350 repainted (most of the car). The paint job was corrective paint work due to a poor paint job by another shop (Pohanka Collision Center in Arlington). MY VALUABLES WERE STOLEN!!! I dropped off my car for an estimate, and then again months later after my insurance did their own estimate and approved the work, I dropped it off for the work to be done. The guy on the phone and front desk was very nice,. However after I picked up my car, the sensor for the hood keeps going off. The worst thing is I had a bunch of my jewelry under the car seat along with stuff packed in my trunk as I had just returned from a trip, and travel back and forth to NY often so didn't remember to remove them. My jewelry was stolen, including a beautiful silver necklace with a huge blue agate stone in the middle, 2 Michael Kors watches: a gold one and a black one with Swarovski crystals around the face, a pearl chandelier earings, my diamond earrings, another necklace i bought in Turkey, and some other costume jewelry which I can live without though they were all favorite pieces. When I called the shop and finally got someone on the phone they said I signed a waiver that says that they're not responsible for anything stolen. Well i did not sign a waiver the first time I dropped it off for an estimate. When I spoke with the manager, John, he kept repeating that I signed a waiver, and claims that their policy is that they remind people to not leave valuables in the car, and makes sure to check for chargers, garage door openers, etc. that was NEVER done with me. I'm very upset and disappointed in this. I will be filing a police report. I hope that whoever took my valuables will return it to the manager, they don't need to admit to it, just have my stuff show up!!! I will also be filing a police report. I was happy with dealing with the guy at the front desk but this will make sure I never use this shop again! read more
