I really trusted this company until they lied to me. They told me I needed a new master break cylinder and booster for $1400. Turns out from a second opinion I needed new pads and rotors which cost me $550 at a trusted mechanic. Plus they told me they changed my oil, charged me for the service..and didn't perform the oil change. Really disappointed in them- they have a lovely facility and is pleasant to go to, but screwing your customers out of money will eventually put you out of business. You trust people with your vehicle, because it is a necessity- and they take advantage of that. read more

Love it so much here! Both times I've visited recently they have been so sweet. They have water and Starbucks coffee. I had my 1 year old with me so I was happy to see they had a closed off play area to keep him entertained and busy while we waited. I went in for a oil change and they did some checking around to make sure everything else was okay. They did find 2 hiccups and offered a solution but I said I'd come back and they were very understanding. Not pushy and excellent customer service! When we left the front desk girls noticed my son loved cars and gave him one to keep. I wish I didn't have to move 3 hours away because I would continue to come here for every service I need. Brought in my '93 BMW M5 to have a radiator hose replaced. When I called for a status on the repair, I was then informed that I needed to have my water pump and fan clutch replaced because the vehicle was now overheating. I thought this was very interesting because overheating had not been a prior issue. When the radiator was replaced previously, there was still air in the hoses that can only be removed by a certain method. If the air was not removed properly, the car would overheat. When this was explained to the technician, he was extremely dismissive and it seemed as if he was just trying to sell me a water pump. Additionally, we were promised the work would be completed that day but found out later that they did not have a water pump available. Eventually, we just paid for the work completed, which included the replaced hoses and fan clutch and limped my poor car home. To be honest, we doubt that we even needed the fan clutch. It now has a check engine light on. Pretty sad how the vehicle is in worse shape now than it was when we brought it in. UPDATE 12/28/16: Following the repair, we did exactly what we told the technicians to do, which stopped he car overheating immediately and the check engine light issue was resolved. This means that we were also sold parts that were completely unnecessary. I am choosing to update this review today because the clamp used on the radiator hose for this repair just failed, causing the car to overheat. The clamp used for the repair was a cheap version, not the BMW factory version that had been on there previously. DO NOT take your vehicles to this shop if you value them! read more

Brian, The Manager at Service First, took my earlier review very seriously, he has investigated the situation and reviewed videos of the work done on my car and could find no evidence to explain how my tire was damaged. He was very concerned about my out of pocket expense and my loss of time and has offered to do my next oil change for free. I appreciate the offer, I appreciate the way Brian has taken this very seriously, I appreciate the fact that Brian assured me both my business and I are welcome and wanted at his shop. Love these guys helped me when my car broke down and got it fixed fast. Great and quick oil changes and tell others things that need to be fixed. My only thing I didnt have done was a lower control arm repair as their price to change way to high to comparable shops nearby. I ended getting that fixed else where as the price difference was 500$ and work was comparable and they warrnatied the parts. But overall will still continue to go them as they do awesome work. read more

Took my daughters Fusion in for an oil change. I was greeted at the door and lead to the lobby which had a dealership feel to it, (even had three people sitting behind the counter). Waited for about 30 minutes and then someone came out and told me my car was ready. Not sure what they did to the car nor was I informed about anything. Cashier was friendly and the price was reasonable, asp got a free car wash next store.. But not seeing them work on my car or telling me anything about its condition, left me with an empty feeling. read more

I got an oil change here about 3 months ago, came back here and wow the Customer service here is so welcoming! That alone will make me keep coming here!! I just felt the need to let people know of the great service I got here! My car takes full synthetic oil which usually cost around 80 bucks I got it done here for like $39 that's very affordable and saved me money. The first time we went the service was great and professional, very friendly, we had Josh. He addressed the problem, worked with us and we went on our way. Not even 2 weeks later the service engine light of my car goes back on. We took it to Autozone to check the code and sure enough it was the same code this place supposedly "fixed". When we called to address, the person Mike was rude in his responses, he told us to bring it back in and they'll take a look. My husband took it back in and then they tell him they're going to have to do another diagnostic because another code is pulling up with the other one. They would not give us the courtesy of reassessing the problem even though the same code (which supposedly they have no record of even though it's on our receipt) they addressed the last time was still coming up (despite the other code). They were insistent that we were going to have to pay all over again. I understand the need to pay for additional repairs, but to pay for a reassessment of what they didn't address the first time is not okay. This place is ridiculously expensive in cost for diagnostic and they don't live up to their name "Service First". I would rather take it back to the dealer if I'm going to have to pay $85 to diagnose all over again. At least they'd address every problem and fix it right the first time. Came in at 1:30 to get a synthetic oil change on my 370z. The only oil I've ever used in my car is synthetic and expressed to them how important that was to me. They said no prob it will be 30 minutes. Came back at 2:45 to get my car and they pull it around barely just finished only to discover they DID NOT put synthetic in my car. Now it has to be flushed out and refilled with synthetic. They did discount it half price and put a note on the file to be sure to use Mobile One next time. Front desk people are nice but I don't trust the people in the shop to work on my car again. read more

I came today for an oil change and inspection. I was expected to be accosted with a bunch of filters I didn't need or problems I knew nothing about that needed to be fixed that would all cost quite a bit of money. Instead I was met by a friendly front desk and a technician who took the time to explain what he thought was best for my car that wasn't the most expensive option. He walked me through the inspection process and showed me everything on my car and how it faired. He even complimentary checked my brakes to see how long I had left and did not try to sell me anything I didn't absolutely need. Hands down the best experience I've had with an oil change and inspection. 100% recommend to anyone who wants a great experience without being hassled to spend more than you need to! read more

I've been here twice now. The first was for an oil change. They were very courteous and quick. They did my oil change during my lunch break and I was able to get work done with their WI-FI. They have a nice sitting area with comfortable chairs for you to work. I noticed an iPad station as well. The second time I came I did my state inspection and requested they check my brakes since my brake light came on. They informed me that there was a wait before they could get my car in the bay and offered me their shuttle service. I was so confused by this shuttle service. I thought, you will drive me anywhere like right now? I requested to be dropped off at the gym and BOOM like magic, they took me to the gym. I asked the shuttle driver where else do people request to go. He said once a lady asked to go to Costco and they dropped her off to do her shopping and delivered her car to her once it was done. I called another location first and when asking for directions, he explained there was a closer location. I visited this location after leaving Fred Haas where I had been one time before. Fred Haas took 6 hours for my "Express" oil change with an appointment. I spoke with another lady that had waited 9 hours. It was absolutely ridiculous. I walked in with no appointment on a Saturday and was out in 2 hours. It was crowded; but, the experience and staff were very pleasant. I am done with dealerships and no matter what coupons the dealerships send, I won't be returning. I also had a poor experience at Don McGill Toyota in Katy, although Don McGill at Kirkwood was a good experience. At the Katy location, they didn't even fix what I came in for. At Fred Haas, they had changed my tires when I came in for an oil change! They also had my phone number wrong and name wrong so they couldn't find me at first in their system. This was the third visit to Fred Haas, never again!! The waiting room had a tv, comfortable chairs and ipads for customer use. They also gave me the wifi information so I could use my phone. It was a quite painless experience and I will definitely be coming back, even if it's a little drive from my house! read more

True story, Amigos I went to Service First due to my vehicle had oil light was coming on. Adam the Guest Advisor informed me that the oil pressure switch was replaced and total price of $ 633 !!!. I refused to pay for replacing a simple switch. Then mysteriously he cut price from $633 to $479.16. However I paid $479.16. Surprise I went NTB and got the invoice for the same repair for the total price of $ 122.77. I also went to the dealers Ford and got the invoice for the same repair for the total price of $262.61. I complained for the next three weeks to Andrew Jean the manager of Service First. But he told me that he trusted his co-workers and he is feeling confident for this price of $479.16 for my vehicle. The people at the front desk (as well as the person that spoke with me over the phone before I got here) were nice, informative, and had TIME to speak to someone to show good customer service. Quoted 30 mins (at 3:45pm) for an oil change and tire rotation. While I waited, I noticed that there's a small kids area, nice lounge area, Starbucks coffee machine, and a ChargeHub for all types of cell phones!!! I called a dealership to see about an oil change (before I called here) and they said that it would take 2-2.5 hrs. They also said that the best time to come would be 7am because they're usually really busy for the rest of the day. The receptionist was short and was in a rush to get off of the phone. Just an update this company still does not disappoint! This time I had to have a bit more work done on the car and they were just as friendly and helpful is the first time. They were able to troubleshoot and gave me a great estimate and then complete the work all within 24 hours. What's best is that they have a shuttle service has a very friendly driver- Jonathan. He was chatty and pleasant and drives you home so you don't have to waste half your day waiting for your car. to me...that's gold! read more
