After being a loyal customer of 9 years I will never return to Cali Spa! The customer service is getting worse and worse and the staff are rude. The add on charges to basic services make the total cost unbearable. Today they would not honor a $10 off coupon off a $65 dollar massage even the though the coupon did not state it was day specific in order to be valid. I stated they would lose all my business if they would not honor the coupon and they refused! I guess they don't care about customer service or need money. They will be losing $200 a month from losing my business. I hope the $10 they got today is worth it...... read more

I have been going to this place for years! Sadly the customer service that grew the clientele base has diminished. I will no longer recommend Cali Spa to my friends. I won't be returning after being a long time customer. read more

Very pricey for the customer service and the products used. I have gone here a few times and wasn't very pleased with my experiences. Finally, decided to give them a last chance for I was going to try something different with my nails. I ended up walking out after asking about their services to I'm assuming the manager?? I asked about simple gel-overlay and no one (4 people) seemed to not know what I was evening talking about. The manager was not profession really, at all. I had explained my previous experience was less than impressive and she just shrugged her shoulders and didn't seem to care at all. So finally after telling me what I wanted wasn't what I should get at all, I asked about the shellac and she told me it was going to be nearly $45 for what I wanted which was just basic and a little sparkles nothing major at all. I said that's redicilous and I'm glad to say I won't go back. I think their products are watered down, and way way too pricey! read more

WORST nail salon in my 36 years I have EVER been to. Don't let the pretty building fool you. I've been to some shady nail places but never been so disgusted as I was with this place. Their presentation of of nail colors is so awful you can't even pick one out. The chairs they have for a pedicure are so old and mine didn't even work and when I told the nail technician she didn't care at all and just said sorry with a crappy attitude. She didn't know the prices and the card they gave me that listed prices was so ghetto. No one was friendly and when she started with my cuticles she was hurting me. I've never stopped a nail tec before but I stopped her and walk out and went to another nail salon. I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know to stay clear of this poor excuse they call a salon. They must have zero expectations for the kind of service and quality of work. Don't waste your time or money. read more

I WAS APPALLED by the owner Kenny while I was receiving services. He was making racial slurs and stereotyping African Americans, Poor white people and hispanics (he is Korean and from Vietnam). He talked as though he had arrived in this country since moving his business to the north side of town despite the profit he made on the south side of town. He was a disruption to the services to everyone in his presence. He talked about his politics and the President loudly as to make the African American woman intentionally uncomfortable. He denounced being racist waving his hand to single out the white women he had working for him pointing them out like they were his personal trophies. He even said I have a Black person too. He seemed to be very shallow and needed to be reminded that he was an immigrant in this country awarded civil liberties. I will never go there again, to pay for his services is to support his ideology and disrespect. Cannot comment on services because customer service and professionalism starts at the top with the owner. I just wanted to get out and away from there as fast as I can. read more

My Sister and I looked forward to being pampered at Cali Spa BUT that was NOT the case. When we walked in they acted like they were not expecting us. I received a PCA Peel that did NOT peel even though the Tech said it WOULD peel and there would be about a week of down time that my face would look bad as it scaled and peeled and I would need to stay out of the sun and the wind. She sold me $17 lotion to help sooth the face which I only used once until I realized it was a waste of time to use it. The lotion package consisted of 5 lotions and 2 of them were outdated lotions. We each got a Pedicure and Reflexology and the Tech tried to charge us $1 for a glass of wine until I pulled out my paper and read to him it was free. The Reflexology was a joke. I asked him what part of the body the different places in my foot that were sore and he did NOT know. The Tech working on my feet and the Tech working on my Sisters feet conversed the whole time in a language OTHER than English and I felt they were talking about us. At one point the Tech said look - all the other people that started their pedicure when you did are gone and we are late. I reminded him that we were getting two treatments. I spent a total of $408.19 at Cali Spa. I asked for $85 dollars back for a peel that did not happen and I asked for my $17 back from outdate AND unneeded lotion. I received an email back stating that a peel does not always peel. I have had peels before and they ALWAYS peel. I always questioned the Reflexology service and he said they are NOT certified reflexologist. I would not have paid $40 just to prolong the pedicure. read more

Front staff was accomodating and that was it!! My pedicurist waa rough, rude, in a God awful rush, and impersonal. After he scraped my feet he put the dead skin BACK INTO THE WATER where my feet were! Disgusting!! I moved my feet as he turned the water back on and he said "You're fine, don't freak out" (!) I told him I'm not, but rather the water is freezing. He did proceed to change it but then when he turned it back on for something else it was freezing again and he had his hands in it and clearly knew it was freezing! I was to fed up at this point to even try to mention it again. My sugar scrub that I paid extra for lasted a whole two minutes and was incredibly unfeeling. I did not get lotion after that, and after I was done he seriously got up and left for a couple minutes walking over to a new table and did not say two words to me. So much for being one of the elite salons in the area. I will not be back. read more

My best friend booked appointments to get our nails done. I had never been to Cali Spa before, but she had been there twice before and said they were decent. We arrived on time, and the place wasn't busy at all. There where only two other people in the row I was sitting in. Since there was hardly anyone there, we asked if it would be possible to sit next to each other. The lady rudely replied no and we were shown different seats. I waited 20 minutes for the guy to come over and start on my nails, during which he left and disappeared for over 10 minutes multiple times. Also, there was no polite greeting, not even a simple hello. He was quite rude whenever I tired to engage in conversation. I realize that they are busy doing my nails, but I feel like it's common courtesy in that setting to at least greet the customer. As for my nails, it was one of the worst experiences I've had. I got a simple french mani. I got nipped repeatedly when he was cutting my cuticles (more like ripping them off) which was incredibly painful. My nails were uneven and the white tips were jagged. They charged me $50 (for a french mani with regular nail polish on my natural nails) which seems quite high. There are so many other great places to get my nails. I will never return to this spa. read more

buyer beware!!!!!!!horrible, horrible, horrible!! i took my mother here for mothers day mani and pedi and within one day my polish totally peeled off one finger. then the next day the same thing happened to my mom. she called and they told her they do not guarantee the regular polish, only the gel. no one told us this!! this was our very first time there. and if that's the case they need that sign on the door stating that so consumers knew what they are paying for! so they said they would do a repolish but not in a french mani like i had originally had. i told them i was leaving for vacation and i wanted something that would last. i asked them if they would discount a gel french mani for me and she said by only $6.00. i was horribly disgusted when within one night the exact same thing happened and the polish peeled once again off one of my fingers! i was able to put a bandaid on it and run to walgreens for nail glue so i could glue it down just to get me through my vaction!! this place is a rip off!! a total rip off!!! they use the cheapest polish ever!!!! buyer beware!! i cant believe they can get away with this!!we will never go there again!! never never never! read more
