I wouldn't justify giving myself the time to go anywhere for self-care anyway. I got a gift certificate for my birthday LAST YEAR and just got around to using it before it expired. I had no idea what to cash in on because I have never had a professional facial in my life. After consulting friends and doing a ton of research, I chose two skin care treatments that pushed me a little out of my comfort zone and am now kicking myself for not having scheduled this sooner! There was absolutely nothing to be nervous about. Mika was so professional, gracious, understanding, and made me feel comfortable. She talked me through each selection I chose and eased my concerns and discussed how to care for my skin after leaving the spa. Once she got to work I was able to relax and enjoy the time for myself. After my facial, I took a look in the mirror and didn't recognize my own face. My skin glowed, I looked hydrated and youthful, the dullness was gone and I felt more beautiful than I have in a long time without makeup.
