This time I scheduled makeup services for my wedding. HUGE MISTAKE. We were called 9 minutes before our appointment time as we were pulling into the parking lot asking us if we could come in later because another party was taking longer than anticipated. I understand that covid testing had caused them to be short staffed, but that is not the customer's problem, particularly on my WEDDING DAY! We were told that they were short staffed because some of the employees did not want to pay for the rapid test. Anyway, we were shuffled into the back room and my mother went first. The employee had brought liquid foundation back and I asked why we weren't getting the airbrush makeup like we had booked. The excuse we were given was that the other party was using the makeup room. Come to find out, there was more than 1 airbrush machine that could have been easily brought back to the other room with us. This fact just makes me more irritated at the service we received. The other bridal party had taken over the salon. They had their Bluetooth speaker blaring and their belongings all over, so we couldn't even be seated in the lobby area while we waited. The most frustrating part was that the employees were also annoyed by thjs rude group but said nothing. THE MANAGER WAS EVEN THERE AND DID NOTHING. I understand they may not have wanted to upset them by telling them they couldn't have their music blaring through the salon. But in not asking other clients NOT to be rude, you pissed off other clients. We were treated like unimportant 2nd class citizens. I will do everything in my power to warn as many people as possible about their horrendous business practices.

This would be very convenient for everyone using the app. Once you are on the chair, the staff is always friendly customer to customer. They do make conversation with the client of whom they are cutting their hair, our hair. The facility is clean for the most part. I did notice that they do not clean the hair clippers after each use. The "barbers cape" is also shared from person to person. The carpet in the waiting area could use a major update, swept from time to time & chairs could use a major cleaning.

My daughter was so excited to get her hair done for her 13th birthday, it's been a promise since she was little. We get her scheduled in advance, with multiple reminders sent and accepted. Our appt was at 11:00, we live 20 mins away, she text me and called me at 10:30 sounding like she had just woke up asking me to change the time to 11:30, or 1:45. I told her 11:30 was fine, we get there are 11:25 and she is not there. I text her and let her know we were there, she pulls in a few mins later looking like she rolled out of bed, smoking a cigarette and grabbing her subway with no rush of getting us in. I had to ask if she was Mandy because she acted like we didn't exist in the car right next to her. She reaked of cigarettes when we got in there, her chair was filthy, and she didn't even know what my groupon was for. I tell her it was for a cut, condition, blowdry, balayage or ombre....she looks at my daughter's hair and says she's going to upcharge us $150 because of the length and thickness....totally fine, if it was mentioned on the Groupon website. She tried to make it our fault that it wasn't advertised properly, she continued to repeat why she wouldn't honor it. Due to it not being on Groupon correctly and her wanting to argue with me about it, my daughter didn't get her hair done. She got a call while sitting there asking if she could meet at someone's house later and do their hair. So not only did she NOT wash her hands after smoking her cigarette, she didn't honor what was purchased, she tried to make it my fault saying "all my groupons SHOULD say upcharges for length and thickness." This has been complained about on Groupon as well, but I wanted everyone aware since she does pop up with this business. Now we have to go somewhere else and my daughters so bummed out. But due to the awful experience she was totally fine without having her hair done because we weren't sure how her hair would look after.

Barb has been cutting my hair for the past year and has always done an amazing job. She's done…read moreperms on me as well, which have lasted beyond the standard eight to ten weeks! Most recently, she did my extensions, and she did an amazing job. After losing a lot of my hair to PCOS, the extensions have given me the length and that feeling of fullness back, not to mention, she took the TIME to make sure my extensions were done properly, even rescheduling her next appointment so we'd have plenty of time! She's such a lovely person too and I always enjoy talking to her during my service.
