While visiting from Oregon, my mother and I found Glo Nail Bar on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Now it's rare I write reviews, but after seeing some negative ones, I wanted to share that our experience was actually excellent. The service we received was truly exceptional, and I felt it was important to counter the negative reviews with our positive experience. Our visit was fantastic, and I'm glad to share that! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the owner, Frali, who was at the front counter. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Even though we didn't have an appointment, Frali got us in immediately without any hassle. Both my mother and I had pedicures, and the atmosphere was calming, and the staff made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Two weeks later, while I was back home, my mom called to say she can't wait to go back. I wholeheartedly recommend Glo Nail Bar to anyone looking for exceptional service and a warm, welcoming environment. Thank you, Frali, and the entire team, for making our experience so wonderful! read more

I've been going to Glo for over a year and half now and I fear I will never be leaving. I would never dare go there without an appointment because it's always busy. But when I do have an appointment, I'm helped right away and they go above and beyond! read more

This business is why 0 star ratings should be allowed. Here's our experience: Earlier in the week, my wife showed up for her appointment on time. Her nail tech was over 30 minutes late to work, forcing her to reschedule. She gave them the benefit of the doubt and rebooked. Fast forward to the day of the new appointment: twelve hours after giving birth to our daughter, while still in the hospital, we received a call from the owner asking if my wife was still coming in. I answered, excitedly explaining she had just delivered. Instead of offering a warming understanding, or opportunity to reschedule given the big life event, the owner responded in a demeaning, narcissistic tone: "Well congrats, just wish you would have called to cancel." This level of insensitivity and unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially for a non-essential business. No pregnant woman, new mother, or family should be treated this way. Please think twice before giving them your business. read more

I just moved here and while this place was OK, it will not be my normal nail place. No one was very friendly or attentive they seemed when I asked a question. Ok though read more

This place needs to stick to a schedule. Stop taking so many walk-ins! I made an appointment that ended up being 45 minutes late. When it came to my manicure, two people worked on my nails which also was not what I requested. This was because the gal I requested was running so far behind. My nails were done in a hurry and in less than a week the gels were chipping. They ruined my nails while removing the old gels. Also I was turned off by the second person helping who had dirt under her nails. Pretty disgusting for a nail salon. I will not be going back. read more

I was just passing through but desperately needed a pedicure and a full set before I head to my conference. They were packed but able to squeeze me in same day. The pedicure and nails were so great. The staff is super friendly and I felt very pampered! Highly recommend if you are passing through or a local! read more

Everytime i went, my nails would fall off quickly and the owner was extremely rude. Always made me feel like I was a inconvenience. Even with appointment made. Getting my nails done is suppose to be a relaxing time, a reward for my hard work, but they definitely did not give me that relaxation. Too many other salons with better customer service. I tried them 3 times and each time was the same. Do not recommend. read more

I have been there several times and always have had a great experience! The girl I always get it super sweet and very detailed. Doesn't speak much English so it's pretty quiet time and it usually takes about two hours for a Mani Pedi but she does an absolutely wonderful job. I would highly recommend glow Nails. read more

My daughter and I had a Pedi done. It was a few months ago. But it was an absolutely amazing experience. I called and got in within 15 minutes of making my appointment. We both loved the massage and hot stone treatment. It was a little expensive. But the overall experience definitely makes up for the price. I will definitely be going back!! read more

I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY wanted to love this place. It is clean, well-staffed, modern and new, tons of color selection, a bar providing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and competitive pricing. I love getting my nails done. It's the one thing I do for myself. I dont get massages, get my hair done once a year, don't go on vacations, but I get my monthly dip manicure. We're new to the area and my old place and nail buddy did AMAZING dip manicures--they'd easily last 4 weeks and would still be intact with massive amounts of new growth. So maybe my expectations were skewed, but for $50, I expect my manicure to last more than a few days. I got my nails done on Wednesday Oct. 16th. The nail tech was not the most friendly guy (all of the other techs seemed far more friendly) but I'm not there to be social, I'm there for my monthly primping session so I didn't fault them. By Saturday October 19th, 3--THREE-- of the dips had popped off of my nails in a single piece, as if my nails weren't properly prepped. Because I wanted to like this place and they seemed to know what they were doing, I called and they got me in same day for a fix. All 3 damaged fingers were on the same hand so they redid the manicure on my entire left hand and did a new topcoat to my right hand free of charge. Fast forward to Wednesday October 23rd (1 week after my manicure), the same thing had happened to another nail where the color popped off in one piece. I called, I was seen by the owner the same day who fixed the nail free of charge. That same day, I got in my car to drive to Indy for the day and on the drive, another nail popped off. So to catch you up--in 1 week, 5 nails had popped off, 50% of my manicure. By 3 weeks after the initial manicure, 3 more nails had popped off (including some that had been repaired 1.5 weeks prior) and multiple others were starting to peel away from my nail (meaning the popping off was imminent). I feel like I gave them a fair try--multiple, in fact--and it just resulted in me feeling like the 1 nice thing I do for myself as a treat was actually a chore. I'm now onto a new nail salon. If you're going for a girls day where you want a mimosa and a mani, then it may be a fun place. But if you want a mani that lasts, I would recommend looking elsewhere. read more

From the moment I sat down the nail tech was extremely rude. At the end of my appointment she said "you don't talk to person next to you. You messed your nail up so I had to fix it". I have NEVER in my life had a nail tech treat me this way. I DO NOT recommend anyone ever going here. read more

The first time I went t Glo I had a less than wonderful (but still doable) experience. After my review the manager approached me and offered a very heartfelt apology for me feeling somewhat unwelcome in the establishment. I thought that a stand up gesture, and very nice of him. I am glad that they read reviews and care how their customers feel about their experience. My nails look great (as they did last time), and I look forward to going back! read more

Had a really great experience with Dawn. Asked for a full dip set with tips and showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did them perfectly. If you're looking for someone to do designs, ask for Dawn! They also serve mimosas/wine which is a huge plus. read more

I had a mani pedi with Ashley. She did a wonderful job! Very professional and kind. I was very pleased with the service I received.

We came here before Covid and it was so nice to relax and unwind. We did make an appointment and they were ready when we got there which is so nice. They had it written doesn't on slips of paper of what we asked for and gave it to the mail tech. Awesome. Easy to park and get In And out. Easy to find and very friendly and clean business. They have a menu of their services that they give you but it's also available in their website. Highly recommended to look at that first. Makes it easier to book an apt if you've never been. Which this was our first time. A very wide selection of mail colors and easy to figure out when they give you the samples. Something for everyone. They also do special nails. You know those nails that are extreme! They offer a variety of services so check out their website. Many pedicure was amazing. My mail tech was firm with my calf massage my water just the right temp and the water they offered along with my beer I purchased hit the spot. Yes they have a beer and wine bar. So awesome. I felt very safe and the place was so clean that I felt comfortable with putting my feet inside the tub. I don't get mani or pedi s very often but the next time I do this will be the spot. Clean great customer service friendly and priced just right. A great day of pampering. read more

This was my first time coming here, I saw all the good reviews so I decided to try it. I had a great experience, everyone was really nice. Very clean and modern inside. Probably one of the best pedicures I've gotten. Kind of on the pricier side but worth it. The massage was great and didn't feel rushed at all. Definitely recommend!!! read more

I've been twice. The first time we did have a scheduling/communication issue and I wasn't able to get all the services I was hoping. The second time, I took my wedding party and Glo staff handled us and all our chaos so well! We had multiple pedicures and multiple styles of manicures all going at once and we all looked great! I got the ombre pink and white-I prefer my nails shorter and we decided I had enough length to do it with my natural nails, so I LOVE the final look. The pics are from the day after the wedding and they still look great read more

everyone starts somewhere and I'm sure the girl who did my nails was just starting off but I'm so disappointed that I paid for nails that when I got home my 6 yo son said "why do they look like that" ... idk how to post the photos but what I got vs what I asked for is super disappointing read more

My new favorite nail salon! I had a wonderful experience here getting a no chip mani. The salon is sparkly clean and they did a great job decorating inside. My nail technician was very sweet and talkative which always helps! They use all OPI products for the gel manicures and I am a big fan. From my experience, OPI stays on the longest and chips less often than other brands. I will be back soon for a pedi. read more

I want to start my review by saying the techs were amazing! They were so friendly and did an amazing job! So this has absolutely nothing to do with them, if it weren't for how rude the manager was to our group I would totally recommend this place to more people. But due to how rude and unprofessional he was to us I will not be returning there, nor will I be recommending this place to anyone. For starters we were supposed to be a group of 8 but then we had 4 people cancel on us minutes before we were supposed to be there. Which didn't really give us the time to change the appointment in time. I understand the inconvenience this places on the business, but the way the manager handled it was totally uncalled for. His tone was so rude when speaking to us that it made everyone in the group very uncomfortable. Not only was he very rude when speaking to us, but I could also overhear him talking about my group to another person. Then he continued his unprofessional behavior by giving me "dirty" looks whenever we made eye contact. He made me feel so uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I forgot to mention that this was my very first time being there, so for a first time it gave me a bad taste in my mouth. In conclusion the techs are great and do an amazing job! The manager could however use some work on his professionalism. read more

I have been coming to Glo Nail Bar for over a year. I have been satisfied with the service until a few months ago. I have had the same technician and the service has just been terrible. My acrylic nails are lifting and coming off after less than two weeks. They normally last 3-4 weeks. My husband was the only black person in the salon and after he got up from his chair, they wiped it down after he got up. They have never done this before when he was with me. Not to mention our appointment was interrupted by a walk-in for a nail repair. I spend a lot of money and tip very well. Needless to say I will not be returning to this salon read more

So this nail salon is a cut above the rest. It's has a serene atmosphere, wonderful massage chairs and delightful technicians. The waterfall fountain pairs nicely with beach and water scenes on the large flat screen. My pedicure was luxurious in that there was no rush. The hot stone massage was very well done. Next time I may enjoy a wine slushy since there is no rush to leave. It's in the Pine Valley shopping /Woodland Plaza commerce area next to Studio Tan. Ask for Diamond. I certainly plan to go back. read more

As mother of the groom, I had the opportunity to go to the glow nail bar with many of the girls for the wedding. There were 11 of us at the same time for Mani/Pedis. They were awesome! I have had a lot of gel polish manicures over the years and they always last at least 2, and usually 3 weeks. This one lasted less than a week. We went on vacation and within two days I had polish chipping. I had one nail repaired my first day on vacation, but throughout the week my other nails began to have polish chipping and peeling off. I've had 5 nails that either chipped or peeled in a matter of a week of getting my manicure. The gal that repaired my first nail while on vacation mentioned that the free edge wasn't likely capped on the nail. Wondering now, if all weren't properly sealed at the tip. read more

I walked in yesterday with no appointment, they still got me in for a pedicure within 15 minutes. The tech did an excellent job, and afterwards, when I smudged my big toe (totally my fault for not letting it dry long enough) she noticed and came over and fixed it before I even said anything. Then when I left a bag in there, they came up to the parking lot to give it to me. One of the best pedicures I've had, any very reasonably priced with extremely thorough and kind employees. read more

June was an amazing nail tech. I will say that overall this nail salon is pricier than my old one, but it is worth it. I brought my nearly 84 year old mother here for a pedicure. She is diabetic, her toenails are awful, and her feet and legs are extremely sensitive. The tech was SO careful as she trimmed my mom's nails and cuticles! My mom was able to get the soles of her feet scrubbed - we usually have to skip that because it hurts too much but not today. We will definitely be back! Thanks for taking such care of my mom's feet!! read more
