Left La Nails with this design on my nails. I originally wanted the silver design in gold, but Claudia said they didn't have a gold color. I should've brought mine from home if they didn't have one. Disappointed I left with residue from the paint gun. Could've been better, but what can I do? The damage is done costing $104 with an additional pedicure paying with card. read more

Very nice place, clean and friendly. beautiful French tips and acrylic. Alrhough a few nails in the corners where still not dry and i ended up breaking my nail soon after. My regular nails on three of them were filed down almost to where i have no nail now so i am very upset about that. read more

I've been there 3 times (1st for full set of acrylics, then 2 more times for fills), first 2 times I had the same person and my nails looked great. She took her time to do them correctly and paid close attention to detail. The 3rd time, I ended up with someone different and they rushed through the process and skipped many steps with the gel polish. I had to refile a few nails myself later at home and then the top coat is coming off of several of the nails (this is due to the nail tech skipping steps so the top coat didn't stick like it is supposed to). Luckily I have uv gel top coat and color at home so I redid several of my nails myself...yes, I paid to have my nails done so I didn't have to do them myself but ended up doing them myself?? It was absolutely evident that they wanted to just be done for the day even though I arrived 1.5 hrs prior to closing. May or may not go back. Will say everyone was nice, nails usually look great, pricing is fine too. read more

I'd give it 3.5 stars. Its a nice place, but there is room for improvement. Cute, staff seems nice, good selection of polish and prices are great. My lady did a great job on my polish. The only thing i would recommend is that when you do things, do them with purpose, don't just go through the motions. You may not realize, but we do notice things like when your file barely touches the nail, but you move on to the next one. And please slow down on your massaging, its not a race. It's a lot more relaxing and enjoyable if you actually take your time with each movement, even if you don't spend any extra time on that part of the service. (And for the tech that was working on another client... If you would have started hitting and punching my legs like that, I would probably kick you. Please don't do that to people, I've never seen anyone enjoy such treatment, and its borderline assault. Your client was obviously baffled and lost for words, but you didn't notice because you were engrossed in a conversation with your coo-worker while you beat on her poor legs and feet. That was seriously painful to watch.) read more

I was told the last time I was here a lady got to go ahead of me because she had to get one fixed! I was ok with it even though I had appointment!! I went to L.A yesterday and am so disappointed about it the price wasn't bad just tell the lady I want French shellac and she told me can't do because I have short nails .. but i do it before with no problem.. so show a picture with another simple color .. the language was the big problem... Went to LA Nails tonight for a fill and a cut down. I got there about 6:30pm I knew they closed at 7:30 so I was a not sure if they would be able to get me in but they welcomed me right in, the girl who did my nails I don't know her name but she took her time didn't rush and did an amazing job. I didn't get the full set there I got it at another location but I would come back here before going back to the other place. I was literally the last person to leave but they didn't seem concern or were rushing me out it was nice I usually feel at the other place like I'm intruding or they are just doing nails as fast to get you out of there. I have been going here for years and getting my nails done about every 2-3 weeks. Lily is great and i always have people admiring my nails. I look for designs online and take them in to her and most times she has no problem doing them like the pictures. She's very honest and will tell you if she can't do a certain design. They usually provide exceptional service but my past three appointments have been horrors. Crooked nails, sloppy paints, hurrying, and recently inexcusable customer service resulting in damage to my personal phone by another customer. The rude customer was then proceeded to be helped after they had more than already started sawing my nails and no actions were taken. Completely unacceptable. read more

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! I went there with my mother to get a pedicure and the person who did mine, paid more attention to the person doing my mom's. She started mine after, which was no problem, but it seemed as if she was racing with the other guy.. She also didn't wash the chemicals off my feet before putting lotion on them AND TO TOP IT OFF, the DISPOSABLE flip flops and the DISPOSABLE things they put in between your toes before painting them, we're dirty and clearly they had been reusing them! I thought I would try and surprise my Girlfriend by buying her a nail appointment, so I decided to prepay and the lady told me to bring back the receipt, well when I came back to drop off my gf, they kept fighting with me, saying that I didn't pay, well I tried talking to the lady named Lily, and she acted like everything was all figured out and my girlfriend was ready to be attended to, so I walked to Dunhams, which is nearby. Not even 10 minutes later my girlfriend called me crying, saying that they basically attacked her, now I'm not trying to sound racist, but when 4-5 Chinese ladies are surrounding you yelling you didn't pay, not only is it hard to understand what they're saying, but it's kinda scary being a pregnant girl by yourself surrounded by people speaking half English half Chinese, so I came back to L.A. Nails. everyone was calm once I walked in, but my Girlfriend proceeded to tell me all that had happened, and told me lily kept saying I paid $21 not $31, my bank statement said $31, my receipt said $31, but lily said $21 (this is basically the difference between gel coat and regular (I don't know what it's called I'm a dude.) but lily wouldn't look at my receipt or statement, so she called her husband and had him run home and check the records, and turns out, we were right the whole time! so AFTER Lily and her co-workers attacked my gf when I left, and after she showed all the customers there my receipt and asked for their opinion on the matter, they finally did my Girlfriends nails, and I will say they looked pretty darn good. This is an Edit: I forgot to mention the part where; after everything was "figured out" the whole shop (besides the lady who was doing the nails, she took our side the whole time) was talking in Chinese, constantly, and the lady doing my girls nails shook her head, as if the whole shop was talking about me and my girlfriend in a different language, how unprofessional. read more
