This place is filthy. I went in to grab a slice to go. After I ordered I sat down and started looking around while I waited. They literally have a large metal shelving unit, floor to ceiling, like one you would put in a garage for storage, packed with tons of grimy junk. I'm talking old printers and phones, boxes with all kinds of crap, loaded on shelves to the ceiling. This is right by the front door! Right by the dining area! Then I looked up...there is a loft storage area around the ceiling area that is packed with old junk, like Christmas decorations and old lights. Dusty loads of junk. It looked like an old man's attic. The tables all looked dirty too, like they never wipe them down. I don't know how the health department hasn't shut this place down. Even the employees looked filthy. I should have walked out without my slice, because it went in the garbage anyway. I was really mad at myself for not speaking up and walking out. The slice looked disgusting as well. I got pepperoni and it was floating in oil and the pepperoni was just put on top cold. Disgusting. Not to mention it wasn't cheap! You've been warned. First time ordering $200 worth of catering, as I was fortunate enough to have a gift card! Went with pretty much the usuals, Chicken Francese, Eggplant Parmesan, and penne in vodka sauce. I added an item that I not seen before, garlic knot sliders. The dishes were pretty much standard pizza parlor fare, with nothing bad and nothing particularly outstanding. The two best dishes were the garlic knot sliders and the penne vodka. Don't know if the vodka sauce was house made, but it was quite tasty and the sliders were unique. While I'm not running back, this is certainly not a place to avoid, and I would order food from them again without hesitation. There was plenty of staff behind the counter and they were pleasant enough. The restaurant itself is a hole in the wall. I didn't take pictures cuz there are quite a few people inside. Ordered off postmates two pies, one mushroom and one pepperoni. When I first ordered the pizza, I thought this was the Calabria's in Livingston, but the order was already in and on the way. All good, the two pizzas were delivered within the hour and still hot which is good! Both the mushroom and pepperoni pies were really good. I appreciate that they used real mushrooms as toppings! Makes a huge difference vs canned. Since it was delivered, I decided to re-heat some of the slices on a pan and then add some water near the end to steam the cheese. I was in the area visiting friends and we decided it was a pizza kind of day. I've been here numerous times and obviously the pizza is decent. I've had the original cheese pie and pie with grilled chicken and broccoli. They make the pizza good here, not too salty. Sometimes they give a lot of toppings and sometimes they don't give as much, guess depends on who makes the pizza. There is limited seating inside. It is part of a strip mall with parking in the back. If you pay with credit card, they will pass on the credit card fee to you, so paying cash helps everyone. Staff here is nice and friendly. Ordered Calabria delivery and it was a tale of two stories. Sliders? Yes. Baked ziti? Absolutely not. Ordered chicken and meatball parm sliders. Great flavor and were very good. The ziti was cold, just a bunch of cheese on top of cold pasta. Just didn't taste great, as if it was made from a box. Another problem, I ordered the ice cream sandwiches, and they called and told us they were out. That just can't happen with ice cream sandwiches. Update to my last review. My wife and i made a second visit to Calabria Pizza since we were impressed with the pizza on our first visit, which was a 5 out of 5 stars. Our second pizza order was a Margherita pizza and the only word to describe it is: spectacular. The pie was visually perfect and the taste matched its looks. So happy we discovered this place. I was not disappointed! I ordered 3 small pizzas, plain, pepperoni & bacon and mushroom and sausage. All three were delicious with a flavorful sauce and a nice crispy crust. I also ordered a caesar salad, good but not spectacular. The stracciatella soup was obviously homemade and very good. I like to order vegetarian options when offered and saw they had eggplant "meatballs" served in sauce and topped with ricotta cheese. These were outstanding and I would be very happy having them instead of traditional meatballs as a meat substitute. Nice crusty bread was included with my order. Went with a classic Margherita in the small size (12 inches). It was ready for pickup in 16 minutes. To make things even easier, there is a parking lot right behind the place. The three young women behind the register were more friendly and professional than any employees I've ever encountered at neighborhood pizza places. The Margherita itself was divine.
