The biggest thing I appreciated was how trustworthy and friendly everyone was throughout the process. From start to finish, they made everything feel incredibly straightforward and stress-free. When our double door arrived, it was missing a hole, which was understandably concerning, but they immediately arranged for Alex to come out and fix it. It wasn't an easy adjustment to line up perfectly, but he did a great job and made sure I was happy before finalizing everything. The end result looks great, and we're very happy with the quality and service.

Our garage is detached, so we could not lock our old patio doors, meaning if we wanted to use our garage, we either had to leave the house unlocked or walk around the block to our front door. We were told by all the other contractors that our doorway was a weird size, and that they were unable to install the doors without cutting into our drywall and stucco and removing our patio stairs. We were also told this would be a project that took multiple days. I posted our other quotes to Yelp to see if other contractors could beat it, and Sivan responded. Oded from Sivan came in and confirmed what I suspected: That what we were told by other contractors was wrong, and that they could easily replace our sliding patio doors with French doors with a lock, and that it could be done via retrofitting and would only take a matter of hours. Everyone at Sivan was easy to work with. My husband and I frequently have meetings during the day, so it's hard to have a call about house stuff. Everyone at Sivan was able to communicate via e-mail and text so we could handle things while in meetings, and they were super responsive even though we sometimes took months to respond because we had a baby since we originally reached out to them. We were able to get our doors done for $4,298.80, which was the best quote we had from any contractor and included labor, materials, and a warranty. In sum, we highly recommend Sivan if you are looking to replace your doors!

David and his team at Action Window & Door are - simply put - AMAZING…read more I have no clue what any of these 1 star reviews are about. It is completely unfair to give a company a 1-star when a business replies with an answer you don't like - all it does is skew the rating on here and make *you* look bad - not the business. Anyway, rant over! I used Action Window for replacing my front door that was very beat up from being south facing in Lemon Grove and the previous home owner's 130 pound mastiff scratching and jumping all over it. It took a little bit of coordination to get everything finally ordered and installed, but that was on me as we were going pretty custom with the job. Come install day, the team was in and out in 3.5 hours and did a really amazing job. There was one tiny blemish that we overlooked, and David had it fixed the next day, and came out a few days later to do a final hands-on inspection. The price was super reasonable, and *way better* than anything that Home Depot or Lowe's quoted me. David and Dee and everyone there are really great and I would love to continue using them in the future.

We are so glad she did because we could not be happier with the service and results. From the very first moment we contacted them, they answered quickly and got us an appointment for an estimate. Chuck came out and explained everything thoroughly, measured, and gave a fair price. He was so knowledgeable, answered every question, and knew how to describe everything so that we could understand. It was almost like having an old friend over - that's how friendly and approachable he was. No hard selling, no pressure at all. All the windows are made to order - so Chuck told is it could take 6 weeks. But, they were done within 3 weeks - so we were very pleasantly surprised. Dimitry came to do the installation. He did three windows in three hours, and did them so incredibly well. Additionally, he cleaned up so thoroughly that you couldn't even tell that windows were replaced. He treated the job like it was being done in his own house; that's the level of craftsmanship and professionalism he showed. The transformation was remarkable - and the quality of the product is outstanding. The new windows keep out heat and light, and will last a very, very long time! For anyone hesitating to replace windows because of fear of the process, this company is for you. Nothing bad about our experience; quite the opposite. We are thrilled with the final result and would definitely use them again.
