Update: they review their yelp reviews religiously. Not even 20 minutes after I posted the main called me to find out what was going on. Apparently the tech did not understand the terms of the Groupon, and was supposed to do my AC vents as well.Like it said on the Groupon. Like it said on the . I reluctantly had someone come out the same day it took about 25 minutes for them to clean the AC duct. They use a machine, it is pretty quick. They cleaned up after themselves and they were gone. Would I recommend you buy a Groupon from them? No The owner of the company also tried to call me several times but I was busy and did not have time to talk. Would I recommend you use this company? I don't know. I won't be using them again for anything. I just overall have a bad taste in my mouth. I used Sky Clean Air for the first time for an AC-Tune Up. It was an interesting day! The AC-Tune Up was not what I expected when compared to other companies checklist of items they would test and clean. But they convinced me to do a deep clean on the ducts. That service was done that day and was a very professional job. Then I asked them to clean the dryer vent line. This turned into a major problem where they discovered the vent line had come loose do to clogging and the crawl space under the house was full of piles of lint. Happy to say, Brandon and Alan spent several hours in the crawl space reconnecting the line, making sure it was clean and sucking out the lint in the crawl space. Not an inexpensive day, but one where the end result was all positive. Note to self...get dryer vent cleaned more often and call Sky Clean Air to do the job. read more

Do yourself a favor and save yourself a trouble searching for HVAC/dryer cleaning team! Skye clean air did an amazing and thorough job. They went above and beyond from scheduling to the technicians working all day to help us. Tyler and Oscar showed up and walked me through everything start to finish. And when I explained to Tyler that we had just moved to this home because our last place had no AC and the air was literally killing us with mold spores from the outside! He told me about an air scrubber to help purify the indoor air. They spent all day cleaning and vacuuming each duct, he even went to his supplier to get an air purifier system for us! He worked all day installing the purifier and making sure everything was clean! They also did our dryer duct system and I can't even explained how discussing the vent was! It was so blocked with dust and yuck that they emptied the shop vac 3times. This morning I noticed how hot the cloths were when I got them out of the dryer. I am so beyond thankful for this team. Never in my life have i easily surrendered to turning on the air conditioner. It's an ongoing battle in my southern california household; id generally rather melt than toil with an allergic response to an active HVAC system. But when we purchased a new home in the interior hills of san diego, i knew my hubby would be a cranky bunny if i were to reliably protest his beloved AC. I decided to explore a deep clean of the entire system and had a laundry list of companies come through for estimates. Sky Clean Air wasnt the least expensive option. but they were the ONLY option. Daniel was thorough, HONEST, extremely patient, flexible and just plain great. I immediately trusted him and i was right to do so. After oscar's initial cleaning, i could feel a total difference and was grateful to have made a solid call. But thats not the end of the tale. A week after moving in, i ended up having an issue with one of the returns. on a FRIDAY AFTERNOON AT 4PM, the office worked some sort of magic to send out Taylor and Jacob on an emergency call. Not only did they come at what realistically should have been the end of their week, they were methodical, thorough, never rushed any component of their inspection or service in an effort to start their weekend, and they even went to home depot and back to get a part that they then installed. On top of it all, they were the nicest, most personable humans; kind and respectful, and a pleasure to interact with and have in our home. Lisa, youre an angel. I will remember what you did for me. Misael, their technician, came out and found the fan blower was filthy (from recent reroof and new attic insulation), and one of the duct's insulation was torn. The people are nice but I was told I'd need a new system installed. Granted my hvac system is vintage, but after getting referred to a different company by my brother, I saved thousands! Blue diamond repaired my system and put in a new thermostat for only a few hundred bucks and it's still running strong over 4 years later. Get a second option if you use these guys! read more

Poor communication on what Groupon voucher for Air Vent and dryer cleaning. Tried to charge me a boatload for furnace cleaning that I didn't ask for... would not take no for an answer. They arrived an hour early (called me 6 mins before new arrival time, as I was driving out of my parking lot) and spent the majority of the time on the phone with me ( I had an appointment at the time they arrived and roommate had to let them in and escort them). They ended up only doing the one downstairs vent and behind the dryer ( never went outside to check dryer vent exhaust duct. Did not clean the upstairs vents and any of the intakes. Charged for additional feet of dryer vent when it isn't that far from the exterior exhaust duct. I Would never use this Company again and will never recommend them. These guys replaced our entire HVAC system 6 years ago and have done a few tune ups over the years. They always have done a fantastic job. Last night I got home to a nearly 90 degree home and called for help. They couldn't get anyone out until next week, and it's been hot, so they gave me a few tips to try and fix it myself. Efficient! Initially asked them to come for a basic cleaning but of course they tried to sell me the deep cleaning which was what I expected when you went through Groupon. It's ok because I never had air ducts cleaned in my house. So 3 guys came within arrival window, they took out the vent cover and motor and used a large vacuum with long hose to vacuum all the air ducts. One guy so wiped down the blades of the fan. He also showed me before and after photos. They took pride of their work too and cared about the results because at the end they shut the vents to prevent sanding dust entering the vents as my contractor were finishing up with the unit. I called for the free attic check because i thought i heard something up in my attic. Office person was very pleasant and scheduled me right away and gave a 2 hour window. Daniel called 20 minutes before arriving within the scheduled window. He was very pleasant and professional and went up into the attic (being very careful with his ladder to protect my home). After investigating, he reported that there was no evidence of any animals in the attic anywhere. He reassured me that everything looked good and didn't try to upsell me on anything. He did say that the insulation was dirty and they now use a higher quality installation but if i wasn't having any issues, there was no need to replace. Before leaving, I asked him about cleaning the vents and he outlined the process and estimated cost for my house. I anticipate using them for this service in the near future.
