They were here on time and fast for a reasonable price! After they were done cleaning my dryer vents my clothes were able to dry right away. Would recommend them to anyone looking for similar service! read more

I recommend this company. It is my third time over the last 7 years to go with them. Twice at my old home and once at my new home. Each time, they did a thorough job of cleaning the ducts, registers, furnace coils and ac blades. They were friendly and professional . I am satisfied with their service. read more

Prompt service and attentive technicians. My whole process went really well. Amazing how much dust and debris came out. Recommend!

They showed up on time, very professional, and did a great job cleaning the air ducts including the one in the bathroom (extra charge for bathroom vent), which was very dirty. I will definitely use them again! read more

DO NOT HIRE!!! SD Air Quality was hired for routine dryer duct cleaning. Several weeks later moisture started accumulating/bubbling on the laundry room ceiling. A plumber was hired to investigate the source and discovered a disconnected portion of the duct, which lead to condensation building up, until it leaked through the ceiling drywall. Part of the service the technician *performed* was inspecting the dryer duct for proper connection. This service is also spelled out on the invoice provided from SD Air Quality. When I reported the issue to SD Air Quality and requested reimbursement for the repairs, they declined, and have since refused to respond to any emails or phone calls. Attached is the invoice as proof. I would highly recommend checking out other websites, specifically NextDoor, for additional reviews. read more

SD Air Quality - Air Duct Cleaning Near Me - San Diego, California

Excellent value! I had my dryer vent cleaned. Scheduling was very easy through yelp, they got back to me quickly when I needed to change times. Andrew & Nick were awesome! They were able to show up early and called me in advance to let me know. They were polite and clean. After completing the work, they tested the dryer, including attempting to check it was venting properly (my vent is on the roof so they couldn't do that step). Much easier than disassembling the dryer myself. Recommended to anyone who needs the dryer vent cleaned! read more

I desperately needed my dryer vents cleaned as well as the AC unit I live in a high rise in downtown so finding a company to work In this condo was job 1 I called they were easy to work with to set an appointment. Day of I received a call 20 min before they arrived and the 2 technicians were masked and booties on prepared and ready to go! And were exactly on time - I think they were waiting outside until 8am precisely. Julian and Jose were polite and quiet and clean and efficient I mean what else could I ask for. I no longer have a fire hazard in my dryer vent (I was informed it was pretty bad) I recommend anyone use them, more than that if you are in a high rise ! read more

They were respectful and great, I would recommend them. The gentlemen was very thorough and fast.

Great experience.see you next Time. I spoke with them yesterday and I was able to get the same day service! Junior and oded were professional and knowledgeable. I have to say that I had some concerns but all were gone when they finished their job!! They were reliable and efficient and I am so glad I chose their excellent service Even now with the corona time , they had a device that can help prevent residue of corona particles in the air! So useful these days! read more

I got referred to this company and had a consultation with Junior. He was detailed, reliable and efficient. We received quotes from other companies but went with SD Air Quality because of his time frame of completion and reliability. It took one day to complete. I used to suffer from random allergies and they installed a purification system which makes such a difference throughout the house and caused my allergies to go away. I work from home and they were quiet, clean, and respectful. Overall happy with their service. read more

Did not do a good job. After 'cleaning' our dryer air vent, our dryer still stated 90% blockage. At the time we thought it was our dryer but dryer technician came and checked, he said it's our dryer vent and nothing wrong with our dryer! Three months from getting our dryer 'cleaned', I contacted another company, Dave Mihaly Air Care because SD Air Quality didn't respond to my e-mail. Anyway, I'm glad I went with another company instead of giving them a second chance and would have paid for the service as long as they do the job right. Dave was so meticulous and very thorough with cleaning everything and he has a heavy duty vacuum that sucks up everything! If you want to get your dryer vent cleaned properly, look elsewhere or contact Dave Mihaly Air Care. **another negative review from a fellow yelper, their response was they must have confused their company with another? I have an invoice from your company. I will post it if SD air quality gives the same lame excuse. A good company will take responsibility to make it right. read more

Our 30 year old AC went out during the heat wave. Another company came out and told us the issue wasn't fixable and that we need a completely new unit. Deciding do get a second opinion we contacted SD Air Quality. We communicated with Jonathan who responded to our inquiry very quickly! He was able to get someone out to us within just a couple of days -we know that with this crazy heat it must've been a very busy time for them, but they still managed to squeeze us in. So grateful! Quinton spent 15 minutes working on the AC unit and fixed it! Amazing!! He was honest with us about the condition of the AC, unlike the other place who basically tried to scam us. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for quick, accommodating, reliable, honest, trustworthy people with fair price. Thanks SO much for saving us from melting! read more

Very responsive and professional. Junior and Ness were very courteous and friendly. They gave me a rundown of the process and went straight to work. The service was awesome, and the vents look brand new. Would recommend to others. read more

I first heard about this company from a KGB Deal. The deal didn't include what I needed so I called the company directly to see if they offered other services and I spoke to one of the owners, Jonathon. Jonathon asked me what I needed done and offered me a very reasonable rate for carpet cleaning of 3 rooms, a hallway and stairs for the following weekend! I told him I was also interested in dryer vent and air duct cleaning and we agreed that he would give me pricing once he saws what was involved. When Jonathon came a few days later it was immediately obvious he knew what he was doing. He showed me some hazards in my current dryer vent setup (the former property owner has a plastic pipe and duct tape instead of steel and aluminum tape), made some recommendations, and gave me options. I never felt like he was up selling me because everything he showed me he offered a reasonable price to do or told me how to do it myself (what to buy from Home Depot, approximate cost, etc). I decided to replace my entire dryer vent which required materials he didn't have handy and he offered to come back to do the work at the only time I was available, 7pm the next night. In the end, because of his professionalism and knowledge, I decided to have my air ducts and furnace cleaned as well. I had been wanting to do this for a while but didn't do it last time I got an estimate which seemed like a straight upsell pitch. Jonathon also gave us a free carpet spot cleaner and a odor blocker for our furnace. I highly recommend SD Air Quality. These guys know what they're doing and have strong customer service. read more

From the first call to schedule to the end of the job, this company was steller. Each person was friendly and professional. The crew arrived on time, there were no hassles and they did an excellent job cleaning the air ducts in my condo. It made a huge difference in the air quality! They will definitely be on my trusted list of service providers! read more

We needed our air ducts cleaned and I'm glad we went with this company. The guys that did the work were so nice. They even put shoe covers on before entering my home. Being Asian, this was a huge plus (if you know what I mean lol). They were hella nice throughout the entire process and answered all my questions. Once they were done (like an hour and a half or so) they cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was in pristine condition. I highly recommend them if you need your air ducts cleaned. read more

Courteous, professional, honest. Responded quickly with an estimate that, unlike others, was extremely detailed, reasonable, and solid; included a thorough scope of work and described the equipment used. They showed up early, protected our floors, and were careful not to leave the doors open (we have cats). It turned out that our ducts were too old & brittle to clean; they explained the situation and gave an honest evaluation. Upon request, they took pix and sent them to the shop for an estimate of what it would cost to replace the ductwork, but did not pressure us to replace. They were also honest about the scope of work, were they to replace our ducts. Would recommend! read more

These guys were super nice and showed up on time and ready to work. They helped repair some tears we had in our HVAC ducting and even cleaned extra registers that weren't on the estimate for no extra charge. Great value and service. read more

I have been using SD Air quality for the past 7 or 8 years. Jonathon and his crew have been nothing but true professionals. The office manager Balinda has been keeping us up to date with all available dates and times to make sure they meet our needs. Jr the tech has been to a few of my houses now and is always on time and professional. We decided to have them add the new "iwave" to keep the kids safe from the Covid19, and just give my wife and me peace of mind. I will definitely continue to use them and recommend them to family and friends! read more

The company's customer service worked with my schedule accessibility and expeditiously called me back as promised. The technician, Junior was outstanding with punctuality, professionalism, knowledgeable, and being genuinely friendly. My dog is a great judge of character and after meeting with Junior, my dog did not growl or bark. Junior was amazing at his job, answered all my questions, and would request and/or refer him by name for any future job requests! I very much recommend SD Air Quality for their service, especially Junior, for the air duct cleaning. read more

We were very happy with our air duct cleaning service! They went above and beyond, were kind and worked hard! Would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future read more

These guys were great! They were friendly, professional, careful not to damage anything and careful to clean up after they were done with each duct. Junior and Oded really went out of their way to clean some ducts that were extremely tough to access. Oded climbed around a tight spot in my ridiculously small laundry closet to get to my dryer vent. He was even thoughtful enough to remove his belt so his belt buckle wouldn't scratch my dryer. SD Air Quality has a duct cleaning contraption that I've never seen before. It's a soft tubular octopus-like device that gently flops around in flexible ducts and blows the dust loose without damaging the ducts. Ingenious! While cleaning a floor vent, Junior used his lightning fast reflexes and his high powered vacuum to suck up a live mouse that was running in high gear. He took our uninvited house guest to an open space across the street for a humane transport. There was no extra charge for the mouse relocation service. :) I strongly recommend SD Air Quality! Thanks guys! read more

Best service ever. I moved into a condo downtown about a year ago and noticed the dryer was having issues drying. I contacted a few companies and was either quoted a high price tag or the company didn't do condos downtown or would not service a stackable unit. SD Air Quality responded very quick, offered open availability and was a really great price. They had no concerns with my mid-rise unit downtown. They explained step by step their process and set me up within two days. Service got even better when they arrived. The team checked out my unit and proceeded to start the cleaning. There was a hiccup with the weird placement of my outside vent (building issue not company issue) but they just worked to find a solution and got the job done. The best part was they explained each step and gave me some tips moving forward. And the amount of dust and dirt they took out was ridiculous! They vacuumed up everything, including the floor around the dryer and my balcony where the outside vent was. 100% recommend them. Honest, dependable and just really great service. Already putting them on my calendar for next year! read more

FYI: calling me during my workday to confront me about my review (and then posting a diatribe accusing me of "trying to get discounted or free services" is not going to get you *MORE* stars. It also isn't going to get you fewer stars, because my vents are very clean. 1. I scheduled an HVAC inspection and duct cleaning. I paid for a duct cleaning, as that was all that was available that day. 2. I didn't ask any questions except to clarify the work order that had been provided to the techs who came out, which read "HVAC inspection and vent cleaning." The techs were perfectly courteous, despite not waiting to verify if I was home before driving over. 3. I declined the furnace cleaning because I do not use my furnace. Didn't realize that made me a bad person. 4. I genuinely wish you continued success in your business. This review was meant to warn those who have unique schedules that yours is not the organization to try to schedule outside of traditional work hours. 5. I don't need/want discounted/free services. I understand everyone has a job to do, and everyone needs to get paid to survive. What I want/need/expect is for a company to respond in a professional manner after what seems to be an honest mistake by their scheduling rep, instead of your very long, very rude response. read more

We never really had a Winter this year, so it is sort of hard to tell when it is time to do Spring Cleaning. I decided to go ahead and bust a move in that direction and finally do the air ducts at the Poway abode. It has been almost 7 years since we had them done last and I saw the filth blowing in the sunlight the other day. Yelp gave me some good indications, there are a lot of quality companies to choose from luckily. I called 3, and the first 2 were booked out a week in advance. SD Air Quality was able to come next day, and could have done same day duct cleaning if my schedule would have allowed. The girl on the phone was sweet and efficient. Guys who came to my house were Jonathan and Gabriel and they were quiet, moved quick, kept their head down working. Jonathan showed me camera images of what I have been "saving up" in my ducts. If I had known, I would have called them in years ago. I guess every other year is the rule. Like teeth cleaning. ha They left me with coupons for next time and for my friends, which I thought was a nice touch, though the price was really in-line with what I expected. read more

I highly recommend SD Air Quality - Hard working team serviced my home. The team arrived on time , they finish the work in the frame time they promised - and the air quality in my home noticeably improved!! as a result of the work my son health improved - less allergies... Here is a Spring cleaning idea: read their website and see if they can tell you something I never knew: we live in a mold zone here in San Diego. Ahhhh! This would explain why the allergies and all the suffering I have had since moving here from L.A. of all places... You would think that running in smog would toughen one's nose and lungs to the point where a little mold or dander would be cake, but not so much. Afrin is my slumber-partner more than any man. Jen is a really cool receptionist and Jonathan, while his accent makes him pretty difficult to comprehend, is really very straightforward and helpful. I give them the good customer service endorsement of an otherwise bitchy gal. And the main point is that after the duct cleaning work was done in my home, with extra care taken by me to thoroughly wash dustmites in carpets and bedding, that night I had my first Afrin-free sleep in a very long time. I didn't believe that duct cleaning was a real thing until a few people convinced me. SDAQ does it fast and for a good price per vent. read more

Jonathon did a great job on my small beach cottage. The house smelled like fresh lemons..not harsh chemicals and he was done so quickly. They did a great job on my carpets! when I walked into my apt it smelled like a new apt! I had them clean my carpets the first time and third. Let me start by saying I'm a neat freak and when it comes to cleaning I really plan things and research all my options before I make up my mind. I looked around for a couple place with great deals that seemed pretty cheap for cleaning my whole apartment. Then one of my friend recommended me SD Air Quality. After seeing good reviews on yelp I called and made an appointment. Jonathan did an amazing job on my carpets. The carpets have never looked any better! I was so happy with his job and was able to enjoy the newest looking carpets during the Thanksgiving breaks. My family was also amazed by how the carpets looked. Thank you again Jonathan!!! I would continue to use SD Air Quality for sure! read more

We needed the air ducts in our small Poway home cleaned out, and I am happy to say that SD Air Quality did a fantastic job! Every stage of the process from the initial telephone consultation with Belinda and her super customer-service attitude to completion of project. The HVAC technicians Alfredo and Junior arrived exactly on time for our scheduled appointment, communicated the process with confidence, conducted their work with the appropriate equipment competently, and then summarized their findings of the project. I highly recommend SD Air Quality as I am sure they can fulfill future customers' HVAC needs. We would definitely hire them again. Great job!! read more

I paid for duct cleaning and they left me with dirty ducts. After the crew left i went to open and inspected the ducts. It appears the whip was pushed through but didnt do anything. I paid for a furnace cleaning and its still dirty. You can see it in the pics i took. Ive been calling for over 10 days now and i just get the run around from Belinda. No manager or person in charge to solve the problem. Now I gota dispute the charge with my credit card company. Sad and shame on them. Dont use this company, rippoff. read more

Jonathan just left, yes on a SUNDAY, he just left and he replaced the start-up capacitor and then blew out all the dirt on the unit... The a/c now works GREAT!!! He was honest, he was educational, informative, and most important he didn't push when it came to upselling. We were given options and we were given all price points for any of those options. Luckily, for today, we only needed the capacitor. thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism! read more

Great customer service. As a mother with a new baby born ,I decided to clean my ducts. After doing a research , and seen the great reviews I made up my mind to go with sdair quality. They were able to set same week appointment which worked perfect with my busy schedule. When they got to my place yesterday , they arrived in time and were very nice and explained the entire procedure. I also decided to clean my dryer vents to prevent fire hazards. It was a great service and I am definitely recommending them!! read more

Had a basic air duct cleaning done and I felt it was pricey. There are certain things that I thought came with the service such as the air duct video analysis to see how dirty the ducts are. Sort of like a before/after comparison. I found out that was an additional cost along with the sanitation process afterwards. Despite the price, we were due for a cleaning. The crew arrived in the advertised time and worked pretty efficiently. The equipment they used looked like professional quality. They almost forgot to clean 1 vent. I had to remind them. They vacuumed the debris that fell to the ground from the ducts afterwards, but there were still some areas which we had to clean. I appreciated how they didn't push too hard to upsell services/items to me. I'm just glad air ducts don't have to be cleaned often. For our next time, we'll probably shop around some more. read more

Great reviews for these guys. On time, honest and efficient. They came to our apartment downtown and did a great job. We had originally scheduled an A/C Vent cleaning and a dryer vent cleaning. When they finished the A/C and went to the dryer vent, they saw it was not dirty and it did not need to be cleaned and they told us it was not necessary. Honesty at its best! Great service, great price. Highly recommended. read more

The short review: GREAT Service. They're committed to doing a good job and making their customers happy. I'd recommend them to anyone. Long review: Their crew was friendly, professional & efficient. I live in an old house, near the beach, and I'm pretty sure the heater had not been turned on in a few years. I hired them to clean my ducts. A few days later, when I turned on the heater (for the first time since we'd moved in) I got a lot of discharge from the vents that looked like lint & dust. It was pretty gross. I sent them an email (with photos), and Jonathan called me right away and came out the next morning. He took apart the heater, and discovered that it was from OLD insulation, inside the heating unit, that had fallen down on the heating fan, over time. It was not from the ducts. All that crap that had been sitting IN the heating unit blew up through my (now clean) ducts & out the vents. After I got all that cleaned up, and let the vents clear out, it was solved. I was very pleased with his attention to the issue (which was caused by my OLD system, and NOT his crew or the job they performed). When he came out, he showed me how to fix the problem, and gave me some good tips. It was great that he came out as soon as I called, in order to figure out what had happened. Great customer service. I will definitely use them again when I need the service. read more
