I can't say enough great things about this company! Lex, the owner, personally came to my house and cleaned my air ducts and dryer vent, and the service was absolutely outstanding. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, honest, and took the time to explain everything he was doing. You can tell he truly cares about the quality of his work and about his customers. He didn't rush the job and made sure everything was cleaned thoroughly. The difference was noticeable immediately! It's hard to find businesses that are this reliable and take such pride in their work. If you're looking for air duct or dryer vent cleaning, I highly recommend this company. Ask for Lex--you won't be disappointed. Thank you for the amazing service. I'll definitely be using your company again and recommending you to all my friends and family! read more

I used Yelp's quote service to find a chimney sweep in my area and Cal Duct responded promptly and professionally with a fair price and was able to come within a day or two so I pulled the trigger and booked. The young man who came made sure to lay down a tarp before working to be sure not to dirty my floor or furniture. When he was done he answered random questions and I could pay by app (it was either Venmo or Paypal) so I didn't need to worry about cash or a check. All in all, it was a fast and seamless interaction, and now I get to use my cozy fireplace this winter! read more

Cal Duct Cleaning was very responsive when I told them about my initial experience and returned to clean the intake. They did a wonderful job and left the air vent very clean. The dryer vent was cleaned as expected on the first visit. They were very clean and responsive to my concerns. I will use them again. read more

Matt cleaned our heating vents and dryer vent--the price was affordable, and the service very thorough. Matt even agreed to go on the roof to double check the dryer vent and found lots of lint under the cap--so glad I asked! And, he tightened the connection to the dryer vent, which hadn't been installed well. The heating vents were also dirty even though we just had them cleaned a few years before. He and his helper were polite, thoughtful, and cleaned up after themselves. We were very happy with their service and glad we did the cleaning. Definitely recommend. read more

Good price and very responsive. The main negative was that they emptied all the lint and build up directly all over my plants and did not clean up at all. They also did not help clean/minimize inside my room around the machine either. read more

Cleaned out dryer vent. Good service. Responsive. Efficient. Knowledgeable. Good value. I would recommend.

I've written my review for this business. Disconnect in communications w/4 different people trying to coordinate a simple request to do as they advertise & accept their offer -$149 Vs $169 to inspect, clean, repair, if necessary, one small flue in bedroom for an unused fireplace & primary fireplace & flue in living room. Technician Alex took under 30 minutes (of one hour expected) to clean out the living room fireplace then tell me I should go to Home Depot to buy some sealant for a few minor cracks in the brick in the fireplace. I'd love to give them the 5 stars they've repeatedly asked for but that would be disingenuous to the clear & unequivocal request & offer expecting them to honor. read more

Great work, careful techs, terrific price. We had a snafu when some soot blew out of a duct and landed on our white carpet. But Dave and Kathy worked hard to make this right and sent us the best carpet cleaners in the Bay Area. Attentive service, quick response. High marks! Youl couldnl't deal with nicer people. read more

I was so impressed by the service. The technician was friendly and very professional. He told me what he was going to do every step of the way. He performed the service quickly and even took a video of the work. Would highly recommend Cal Duct Cleaning!!! read more

Owner communicated well, service tech was professional and friendly. The person who scheduled us over the phone almost made me want to stop doing business with them all together. He came off condescending and actually laughed when I quoted the special prive for Yelp customers that was already confirmed by the owner. Overall a good experience aside from the 5 minutes talking to that guy. read more

We schedule an appointment with Cal Duct Cleaning. The crew of Giovanny and Victor promptly arrived at 9 AM. They were hard working and cleaned our 12 air ducts and dryer duct. They completed the job in 90 minutes. The both were very courteous and hard working. They were also very efficient as they proceeded Togo from one room to the next. There was no necessary cleanup after they had left. I would strongly recommend Cat Duct Cleaning for air/dryer duct cleaning. read more

We called three other businesses to have our chimney cleaned. When none of those businesses called back, I messaged Cal Duct Cleaning here on Yelp. Within 10 minutes, I got a response. And after a few exchanges, I was booked for a next day appointment at a time that fit my schedule. Talk about convenience! I was kicking myself for not contacting them in the first place! This morning Art from Cal Duct Cleaning arrived on time to clean our chimney. He was very helpful with our questions and did great work. We were very impressed with not only Art, but with the way Cal Duct Cleaning conducts its business - customer focused, responsive, and with knowledgeable workforce! Thank you for helping us! Needless to say, we will be calling Cal Duct Cleaning next year for our annual cleaning! read more

I recently moved into a condo and needed the chimney inspected and cleaned. I reached out via the Thumbtack app. They gave me a quote of $199 for a chimney sweep, inspection and fireplace cleaning, and had availability the next day. This quote was a better deal than I was getting from a couple of other companies and most importantly, had availability soon. So I scheduled my appointment for the next day. The technician texted and let me know if he was his way. He showed up on time. He was professional and followed Covid guidelines (wearing a mask, stood 6 ft away). He came in, inspected the chimney then brought his stuff up to clean. He worked fast and finished under an hour. He did it without leaving a trace of soot. I appreciated his thoroughness. I definitely recommend them. read more

The service was performed on schedule and the technician was polite and diligent in going about the work :) That said, the equipment they used leaves much to be desired. They do not have the duct cleaning apparatus that professional providers use: large vac in a truck so the noise is outside and a duct cleaning head that has the brush and vacuum lines integrated into a unit that seals the duct off so no dust escapes from the vacuum system. This provider used a jury-rigged set-up that does not work very well. The small round brush they use to lift the dust from the inside of the duct was in very poor condition, and because the brush and vacuum were not integrated, the brush was not well controlled (centered) inside the duct so I wonder how well it was actually lifting the particluates. Also, he did not have different brushes for different duct sizes. I would not use this provider again for these reasons. Ask for a provider that uses a vacuum truck and integrated brush heads with and the vacuum line so the brush is centered in the duct and the vacuum head seals the duct off to ensure all the particulates are captured and not blown into the system. read more

I just moved into a new home last may and realized the fireplace had not been cleaned for some time. Found Cal Duct Cleaning on Yelp, messaged them and they responded right away. gave me a quote and an option for an appointment within a couple days. They were perfect, showed up early too (called to make sure it was ok ) everything went smooth, they cleaned the fire place, chimney and grate. After they gave me a run down on what they did, and some pointers on what to look for indication of the fire place getting clogged or dirty. SO far so good on the fire place. I would easily recommend them to anyone. also they were incredibly pleasant on the phone and in person. read more

I was pleased by the quote/estimate that I received, and they were professional. But Cal Duct was even more impressive upon arrival and delivery of service. They know their stuff! I got a fireplace inspection, cleaning, and bathroom air vent cleaning. They also gave good advice regarding maintenance and other repairs for my fireplace, which had been unused for over ten years before I moved in. I am happy with my services and will call them soon to service my furnace vents. read more

I called a few companies and Cal Duct was one of the only ones who had clear pricing for the job needed. They are also really reasonable and a welcome relief in a world that seems to be dollar hungry. This company has my 5 star vote! Brent was the best! He called to let me know he was on his way. No waiting and wondering if he would show up like so many other businesses. He was knowledgeable, professional, kind and super patient. He was very respectful of my home and left it as clean as he found it. A small issue came up in the attic which he could have kept to himself and I never would have known, until a larger problem would have been created because of it. Brent not only told me what was going on, he took photos while on my roof and in my attic. He fixed the problem and made what could have been stressful to this homeowner, a very calming experience. I highly recommend Cal Duct and Brent. What a great combo for a job well done. read more
