My experience with Bellows has been an interesting one. TLDR; highly recommended and check out the Quilt system! - - - I had originally scheduled an estimator to come out an give a price on replacing a whole house gas furnace with a heat pump system but was also considering a multi-head mini-split system. The technician who came out was knowledgable and introduced me to the Quilt system. He was not pushy at all, simply said that it was a new system that showed a lot of promise. After reading a bit more about it, I was sold! The promise of efficiency was intriguing and the usability and aesthetics sealed the deal. It took about a month to really get things going, but once they started, the installation team was great! Very professional, efficient and tidy. On the third day of installation, I had inquired about the condenser unit location. It was placed in a prominent and highly visible location at the front of the house and I thought there was a good alternate location - moving it back about 5' and rotating it 90 degrees. I definitely missed the window of time when this should have been asked, and to move it would require some additional work. The initial response was not empathetic or customer satisfaction- minded, the quote for the change order was prohibitively high and I ended the phone call feeling very frustrated. Within minutes, one of the owners, was on the phone. Chelsea put on a MASTERCLASS in conflict resolution. She made a personal connection, approached the situation with humility and grace, quickly establishing empathy in both directions. Chelsea found a delicate balance between defending her business and wanting to help find a solution by sharing more detailed information about the systems and installation process, and asking questions about why I wanted to change the location. Like most customer-service facing professionals, she articulated that she wanted me to be happy with the product and service and that the company would make it right. But unlike the majority of those people, it did not come across as condescending - she was genuine, willing to explore options, and ultimately took the time to gather more information and see what options were actually available. The installation manager, Del, came out the next morning, worked with the installers to find an efficient solution to move the unit, and the system was completed within the original schedule. The two-man installation team ended up working a little later, and even on a Friday afternoon before a long weekend, showed professionalism and patience in testing the system, cleaning up, and making sure all of my questions were answered before calling the job complete. Ultimately, I am very satisfied with my Bellow's experience and would recommend. I am very impressed with Chelsea and her handling of the situation. The company, her partners and anyone working for her should be grateful for the leadership she provides. Thank you Chelsea, Del, Joed and Julian!

Along the way, we discovered a pipe leak, which they fixed without issue. We also needed to reroute our dryer vent, and they handled that as well. Great company to trust and I have confidence that they are doing the best on my project. Never oversell the service to the customer. ( remember to use their discount coupon) my sewer later replacement was finished in 2 days ( trenchless method with partial open trench to fix belly)with inspectors from Daly City and South San Francisco. I contacted Connor Griffin from discount plumbing 2 weeks ago regarding my sewer lateral under my drive way because I had to do sewer snake every 6 months. On the appointment day we went over the sewer lateral with the camera and they they immediately marked the location where the system had belly. I am living in Westborough area in South San Francisco, but the sewer system is under Daly City Water district, so Connor immediately told me to make an appointment with the Daly City Inspector to go over the sewer camera inspection, and we could finalize the scope of work. ( this was the point that Discount Plumbing did not over sell the service because they were willing to help me and find out the requirements from the City inspector before giving a quote). On the appointment day with the Daly City inspector, he told me I could just fixed the belly part because the Clay pipe under the public road was in a good shape. However inspector did mention that the clay pipe was about 50 years old already, so it would be a good chance to replace it if I wanted to. After the conversation with the inspector, Connor had already prepared 2 options for me. One quote was just fixed the belly portion, and the other one was a complete replacement all the way to the city main. ( yes, owner was responsible for entire sewer lateral all the way to the city main). My final decision was replacing the entire sewer lateral for future proof because I didn't want to fix the clay pipe later and it would be more expensive in future. Discount Plumbing got all the permits from Westborough Water district and City of South San Francisco. The construction crew was professional and answered all my questions during the construction phase. The project was done in 2 days, and they also had special crew to clean up the job site with water jet machine for final SSF inspection. It's a great and smooth experience to work with Connor and his coworkers. read more

Awesome! The plumber was very professional and funny! He went beyond for us and we really appreciate it! Toilet clogged, may have to pull toilet, but he went all other routes first to clear the toilet before he incurred us expensive costs!! I got estimates from other plumbers, some didn't even answer their phones, but the ones I spoke to, I about hard a heart attack on the price they charge just go out there! No, Discount Plumbingare the guys to call. I have also been a property manager for many years and I know a great plumber when I see one. I call Discount Plumbing for a leaking kitchen sink faucet leak. I heard the door bell and open the door. And, there us standing in front of me was a pleasant young man. And, it was Mike from Discount Plumbing. I walk Mike to the kitchen and tell him about the leak. When he turn on the faucet and check, water was coming out from the sprayer and he check inside the cabinet, below the faucet. And, he noticed there is a small puddle of water. And, he told me it should be a simple fix. All he got to do us tighten up the sprayer hoses at the sprayer head. And, Mike did not even charge me any service fee. Had a plumbing issue here in San Francisco decided to call San Francisco plumbing company called to make an appointments for inspection. Plumber came in the morning and gave free estimate for my water heater replacement needed it so badly because January is always the coldest month and decided to fix it asap . plumbers name was adan he told me what heater to purchase so it last 15 years and anything breaks within there is a warranty on it decided to go for it and job was done next following day perfectly so it was. Outstanding! I called discount plumbing this morning because my toilets would not flush and there was sewage coming up from my shower drain... gross! They sent Jason out to My house and before I even told him the problem he pointed me to a puddle of sewage that was coming up near the sidewalk. After assessing the situation he recommended we pressure jet the sewer system and he got it cleared in less than an hour. He even ran a free camera to inspect my sewer line. FOR FREE! Big shout out to San Francisco Plumbing Company. I honestly have no idea how it happened but I guess the pipes bursted? It's weird because I was told it was a roots issue but I remember I took a phat duece and shortly after the plumber was at my house working away to solve the issue. I'm glad that they were able to get over so quick and fix the issue without any real hassles. That duece of mind ended up costing me a pretty penny but it is what it is. Our bathtub was clogged and water would not go down at all. Besides that, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the drain and that's when my family decided to call San Francisco Plumbing Company. While everyone has the right to run their business as they see fit, this pricing policy was disappointing and was enough for us to look elsewhere.

Long hair = clogged drain…read more I've tried EVERY drain catcher imaginable. The hair in drain issue persists. I bought those plastic hook sticks to pull my hair out. I bought the metal snake situation. Nope, my long hair is undefeated What to do? Call the plumber. When you own your home, things like this need to be addressed. That is your pipe in your bathroom. If you can't clear it, call someone who can. Zaragoza Plumbing has consistently fixed whatever plumbing needs I've had over the years. It's so nice to have a go-to for my plumbing needs knowing whoever shows up will be polite, professional, skilled, and affordable. My hair clog took about 10 mins with something machine sounding. Maybe a drill with an attachment? I'm getting ready to donate my 8th ponytail of more than 12" to children with hair loss. Thanks to Zaragoza plumbing, this labor of love donating my long hair over and over is possible.

We have used them twice now and both times couldn't have been more impressed with their quick, thorough and professional work. The first time was on the day of our son's birthday party when our garbage disposal broke. It was a last minute, weekend call and he came over very quickly. He sent us tips on how to try and fix it while he finished up another appointment. And then when he got here, he fixed it right away and charged an incredibly fair rate. Today we had a problem with a back up in our downstairs bathroom. We have an old house and even older pipes. Again, he made time to come over immediately and help us stop the damage and then was able to come back a couple hours later to dive in further. He used two of his machines to try help us. Because our pipes run unusually long on our property, he was able to call in a friend with an even more powerful machine to try and reach the end and clear everything. That friend was here within 40 mins. In the end we will need to get an even longer reaching machine. This would normally be very frustrating. But I couldn't help but be grateful for all that Tom has done. He was here for over 5 hours today working on this for us. He was out in the dark with a headlamp while working with his last machine. He gave us upfront and fair quotes for everything. When it didn't work, he gave us a list of recommended vendors to reach out to and even a reasonable price range to look for. And then he barley wanted to accept payment for his work, because it wasn't completely resolved. Again, he did and emergency service call and them came back and tried multiple options for us and was here for 5+ hours. Tom is honest, hardworking, competente and went above and beyond in every way to help us. We are thrilled to call him our plumber and could not recommend this company enough!

I would have given additional stars, but they did not disclose upfront, that I would be paying a credit card transaction fee. Had I known, I would have provided an alternative method of payment. The transaction fee was $47 (over 3.25% of my hefty bill). Tip: They only accept credit card, cash, check - no Venmo, Zelle. **Do be sure to ask about the transaction fee before paying and it isn't disclosed.
