My wife and I highly recommend Frank's Water Heaters for planning, designing, and installing a hot water heater system in a home or building. Trevor is the owner of Frank's Water Heaters (which I understand is named after Trevor's dog). Trevor, himself, recommended and designed the installation for our new Navien 240A2 tankless water heater system with a recirculating device to facilitate second floor quicker hot water access and efficiency. Moreover, he was onsite project manager, chief working technician, and marshal of the successful building inspection process. He and his assistant were clearly competent, incredibly neat, and meticulous. (As I was walking by the job, I even caught Trevor with a leveling tool in hand to make sure the mounting bracket was perfectly level). Upon completion of the job, Trevor instructed my wife and I with usage of the new system, checked out the showers and faucets, and then checked for leaks. He called us back the next day to, again, check in. We have lived with the system for a month--- works to perfection. Also, our PG&E bill dropped substantially from the previous month maybe due to the expected increased efficiency of the tankless system coupled with removal of a flawed system installed by another company just four years earlier. He showed up, scoped out the situation, and did all the work the next day. After the installation, he explained the workings of the new heater and how to adjust its settings, and had us turn on two showers at the same time to see them both run with hot water. I thought I had already written a review for this place because they were just so dang good, but I guess not! Our hot water gave out on us about a week-and-a-half before Thanksgiving, and we had family staying with us during those days. Not only was it frigid for us, but we needed it fixed, and stat, for our guests. We called a few different places up to check rates and availability, and several companies were booked at least a month out. We called Frank, described the problem we were having, and he explained that he suspected it probably just needed debris cleaned away from the pilot light. He was available SAME DAY - it was an absolute godsend! He came by I'm pretty sure after he'd normally call it quits for the day and cleaned out the debris from our water heater - which got it all sorted out - in less than an hour. And he was showing my spouse the whole process and walking him through it at the same time. When it came time to pay, the rate was more than reasonable, and we were supremely grateful that he was able to squeeze us in on such short notice. In December our water heater went out on a Sunday morning, which sounds like a normal thing - but this was 2020, and on top of 2020 craziness our family was going through multiple traumas that particular week. He was able to explain things in a way that I could understand despite all my crying. Our hot water heater malfunctioned and started leaking 2 days before Christmas. Trevor came out promptly to trouble shoot and to provide us with options on a replacement.
