New tankless water heater

My water heater gave out last night. I called Frank's water heaters and Trevor answered at 9pm. He showed up in the morning with a new tank water heater. I expressed that I have always wanted a tankless water heater, but didn't think it was possible. Trevor told me it wouldn't be a problem. He traveled back to his supplier and returned with a tankless water heater. Trevor did a beautiful job with the install and thoroughly explain the functions of the heater. Prior to leaving, he insured every faucet and shower was working properly. If you are looking for a water heater, in my opinion, Frank's is the best !

The new Navien tankless water heater

My wife and I highly recommend Frank's Water Heaters for planning, designing, and installing a hot water heater system in a home or building. Trevor is the owner of Frank's Water Heaters (which I understand is named after Trevor's dog). Trevor, himself, recommended and designed the installation for our new Navien 240A2 tankless water heater system with a recirculating device to facilitate second floor quicker hot water access and efficiency. Moreover, he was onsite project manager, chief working technician, and marshal of the successful building inspection process. He and his assistant were clearly competent, incredibly neat, and meticulous. (As I was walking by the job, I even caught Trevor with a leveling tool in hand to make sure the mounting bracket was perfectly level). Upon completion of the job, Trevor instructed my wife and I with usage of the new system, checked out the showers and faucets, and then checked for leaks. He called us back the next day to, again, check in. We have lived with the system for a month--- works to perfection. Also, our PG&E bill dropped substantially from the previous month maybe due to the expected increased efficiency of the tankless system coupled with removal of a flawed system installed by another company just four years earlier. (Time will tell). The building inspector assigned to check out our newly installed system not only passed us, but stated "beautiful installation". Frank's Water Heaters, along with the competence and expertise, was so pleasant and seamless to deal with I would have liked to have been able to give the company a YELP score of six stars (on a scale of 1 to 5).

I needed a kitchen faucet's hot water dual angle valve change and a two-sink to one-sink wall pipe change. I had previously changed three angle valves but this particular valve did not have much tubing. James quoted an initial $195/hour plus parts for a minor job in a Yelp project estimate. 12 days after the Yelp estimate, during an afternoon visit, James asked what I wanted to do. I replied that I needed a hot water angle valve change, another plumber will change the wall pipe, and I will install the garbage disposal, p trap, and faucet and dishwasher lines. I expected an estimate but James surprisingly and loudly challenged my knowledge of plumbing, stated that he is cheaper than the wall pipe plumbing company, and stated that he can do the entire job in three hours at $195/hour plus parts. James stressed the project is difficult and that he can easily do it while I cannot. My wife in the living room found it strange that a plumber is hard selling after the other plumbers simply provided an estimate, came into the kitchen, and stared down at this condescending and impolite plumber. Odd, I just wanted an angle valve change estimate, not a complete project quote. I passed on this rude plumber.

They offered no help and only said they had other customers. I found Plumbing Pros on Yelp. If I could I would give Plumbing Pros 10 stars! After explaining the emergency, James P, owner came out to the house within 2 hours. He provided options and was absolutely concerned with getting the broken pipe fixed. His crew came out and replaced/fixed everything in one day! Great quality work and good pricing! James P, owner, was super responsive and answered all our calls and text messages. James even answered our messages left in the evening and on a Sunday! Not only is he an absolute professional he is also a great guy! Great job and thank you Plumbing Pros!

Long hair = clogged drain…read more I've tried EVERY drain catcher imaginable. The hair in drain issue persists. I bought those plastic hook sticks to pull my hair out. I bought the metal snake situation. Nope, my long hair is undefeated What to do? Call the plumber. When you own your home, things like this need to be addressed. That is your pipe in your bathroom. If you can't clear it, call someone who can. Zaragoza Plumbing has consistently fixed whatever plumbing needs I've had over the years. It's so nice to have a go-to for my plumbing needs knowing whoever shows up will be polite, professional, skilled, and affordable. My hair clog took about 10 mins with something machine sounding. Maybe a drill with an attachment? I'm getting ready to donate my 8th ponytail of more than 12" to children with hair loss. Thanks to Zaragoza plumbing, this labor of love donating my long hair over and over is possible.

Four months later, the irrigation pipe snapped clean off at 2am last Sunday. When I asked them if they could fix it, they refused, saying they were too busy and told me to call a gardener. The gardener found the connection they made was completely misaligned and the "T" fitting was cut too long, forcing the joint and putting constant pressure on the irrigation pipe until it broke. They refused to take responsibility, claiming I would have seen flooding (wrong- my main was leaking 600 gallons an hour with no flooding) or that something hit it, which the water company confirmed started at 2am on Sunday. This was their work, their faulty connection, and their problem to fix, but they won't make it right.

My experience with Bellows has been an interesting one. TLDR; highly recommended and check out the Quilt system! - - - I had originally scheduled an estimator to come out an give a price on replacing a whole house gas furnace with a heat pump system but was also considering a multi-head mini-split system. The technician who came out was knowledgable and introduced me to the Quilt system. He was not pushy at all, simply said that it was a new system that showed a lot of promise. After reading a bit more about it, I was sold! The promise of efficiency was intriguing and the usability and aesthetics sealed the deal. It took about a month to really get things going, but once they started, the installation team was great! Very professional, efficient and tidy. On the third day of installation, I had inquired about the condenser unit location. It was placed in a prominent and highly visible location at the front of the house and I thought there was a good alternate location - moving it back about 5' and rotating it 90 degrees. I definitely missed the window of time when this should have been asked, and to move it would require some additional work. The initial response was not empathetic or customer satisfaction- minded, the quote for the change order was prohibitively high and I ended the phone call feeling very frustrated. Within minutes, one of the owners, was on the phone. Chelsea put on a MASTERCLASS in conflict resolution. She made a personal connection, approached the situation with humility and grace, quickly establishing empathy in both directions. Chelsea found a delicate balance between defending her business and wanting to help find a solution by sharing more detailed information about the systems and installation process, and asking questions about why I wanted to change the location. Like most customer-service facing professionals, she articulated that she wanted me to be happy with the product and service and that the company would make it right. But unlike the majority of those people, it did not come across as condescending - she was genuine, willing to explore options, and ultimately took the time to gather more information and see what options were actually available. The installation manager, Del, came out the next morning, worked with the installers to find an efficient solution to move the unit, and the system was completed within the original schedule. The two-man installation team ended up working a little later, and even on a Friday afternoon before a long weekend, showed professionalism and patience in testing the system, cleaning up, and making sure all of my questions were answered before calling the job complete. Ultimately, I am very satisfied with my Bellow's experience and would recommend. I am very impressed with Chelsea and her handling of the situation. The company, her partners and anyone working for her should be grateful for the leadership she provides. Thank you Chelsea, Del, Joed and Julian!

You obviously didn't check your records very well because the work was done in March 12, 2021, and you were out recently on May 7, 2026 to give me an estimate on the warranty repair. And I am not anonymous, that's a real photo of me. Dan was really nice -- I have no issues with Dan, more the install. You guys have been out to several of my properties and business for estimates.

I put in a call to Gene Burch, and dispatch said they could get someone out by tomorrow afternoon. Given the heat wave I figured that was good as it was going to get. I was wrong. A callback just a few minutes later let me know that Alfredo was in the neighborhood and would call me as he neared. 20 minutes later, I greeted Alfredo at the door and pointed him to the failing unit, along with the error message that the Nest thermostat had indicated. Alfredo opens up the outdoor unit, pokes around for a minute or so, and quickly diagnoses and repairs the problem - a capacitor that had shorted out because it was touching another part. A quick trip to the truck, a new bracket, and the AC roared back to life! After a quick check of the forced air unit in the attic, he was on his way and I had signed up for their monthly membership as well. KUDOS to Gene Burch for greatly exceeding my expectations for when the technician would arrive, and A BIG shout out to Alfredo, who got the job done quickly and with a smile on his face, reassuring me all the way. When he began denigrating other plumbing competitors, with the label "we're no Chuck & a truck" plumbing company --had to laugh. To top off the experience; he asked if he could discount some of the proposed jobs? Uhh no, you're already 150% higher than several local competitors. To be fair, over the years, I've used Peter Levi for some good quality work, but when you sign-up for their monthly maintenance program -beware --they'll hunt for any & all possible weaknesses in your home plumbing & quote you prices that are nothing short of unconscionable, then rationalize it over the phone! Water Heater replacement over 100+% higher than fine local competitors Cancelled monthly maintenance & 6 proposed services from the aforementioned "change out your Chrome pipes, p-traps & plumbing for black plastic pipes --were done!
