    Installation just finished on a four-unit Quilt mini-split system. Very new product and I'm excited…read moreabout the aesthetics, usability and efficiency. My experience with Bellows has been an interesting one. TLDR; highly recommended and check out the Quilt system! - - - I had originally scheduled an estimator to come out an give a price on replacing a whole house gas furnace with a heat pump system but was also considering a multi-head mini-split system. The technician who came out was knowledgable and introduced me to the Quilt system. He was not pushy at all, simply said that it was a new system that showed a lot of promise. After reading a bit more about it, I was sold! The promise of efficiency was intriguing and the usability and aesthetics sealed the deal. It took about a month to really get things going, but once they started, the installation team was great! Very professional, efficient and tidy. On the third day of installation, I had inquired about the condenser unit location. It was placed in a prominent and highly visible location at the front of the house and I thought there was a good alternate location - moving it back about 5' and rotating it 90 degrees. I definitely missed the window of time when this should have been asked, and to move it would require some additional work. The initial response was not empathetic or customer satisfaction- minded, the quote for the change order was prohibitively high and I ended the phone call feeling very frustrated. Within minutes, one of the owners, was on the phone. Chelsea put on a MASTERCLASS in conflict resolution. She made a personal connection, approached the situation with humility and grace, quickly establishing empathy in both directions. Chelsea found a delicate balance between defending her business and wanting to help find a solution by sharing more detailed information about the systems and installation process, and asking questions about why I wanted to change the location. Like most customer-service facing professionals, she articulated that she wanted me to be happy with the product and service and that the company would make it right. But unlike the majority of those people, it did not come across as condescending - she was genuine, willing to explore options, and ultimately took the time to gather more information and see what options were actually available. The installation manager, Del, came out the next morning, worked with the installers to find an efficient solution to move the unit, and the system was completed within the original schedule. The two-man installation team ended up working a little later, and even on a Friday afternoon before a long weekend, showed professionalism and patience in testing the system, cleaning up, and making sure all of my questions were answered before calling the job complete. Ultimately, I am very satisfied with my Bellow's experience and would recommend. I am very impressed with Chelsea and her handling of the situation. The company, her partners and anyone working for her should be grateful for the leadership she provides. Thank you Chelsea, Del, Joed and Julian!

    Bellows Plumbing: Mini split review…read more In November of 2023, I needed to replace my old gas wall heater. Our home is older and we needed something new. I decided on a Lennox mini split system after seeing a display at Costco. The package included having Bellows Plumbing, a local HVAC contractor install the system. We had this work done in January of 2024. Everything worked quite well until the late fall of 2025. We had had the system for almost two years. When the temperatures fell into the lower 40's, the Lennox system quit heating and would just blow cold air. I called Bellows and they sent out a technician. After explaining my problem one of the first things he said was, "Look how you're dressed." I was in shorts and a T shirt. This was before he even checked the unit (he later denied saying this upon his third visit). I told him my old thermostat registered at 55 degrees and he told me those old things didn't work. I told him again, the unit just blew cold air when the temperature got into the lower 40's. He checked the unit said everything was working correctly and left. When the temperature again got into the lower 40's, the unit still did not work. I called again and the same tech came out and said he couldn't find anything wrong. I suggested maybe I wasn't using the remote correctly and he agreed and left. I made sure I was using the remote correctly and the unit still did not heat our home and blew cold air. I called a third time and Bellows sent the same tech. By this time something else had gone wrong with the unit and it no longer worked at all. He checked it and did not seem to know how to get into it to look. He beat it up a bit taking a panel off. When he was finished, he blamed the problem on a power surge and said I needed to call their electrician. By this time I was done with Bellows Plumbing. I called Lennox and an overseas service representative said I need to call Costco and gave me a number. When I called the number another overseas rep told me if I gave her my bank account number, I had won a $300 gift card. So I had been given a scam number. I found the correct number and the Lennox/Costco rep talked in circles and took no interest in the scam number. So, I have a $10,000 Lennox mini split unit in my backyard that I have not bothered to fix as of May 14th, 2026. Why throw good money after bad?

Later that evening, PG&E confirmed that our furnace had failed and was releasing carbon monoxide into our home. The next morning, I began calling HVAC contractors. None of the nine companies I contacted could help for at least a week. Fortunately, a friend from my daughter's school referred me to Jose. He answered on the second ring, immediately understood the issue, and told me his Vice President would be at my house within the hour. Just 30 minutes later, Rudy arrived and quickly confirmed the diagnosis with his equipment. Jose immediately recognized the urgency of the situation. Not only were we without heat in freezing temperatures, but our family was also at risk of further carbon monoxide exposure. By 5:00 p.m. that same day, Air Flow Pros had sourced and delivered a new furnace, assembled a six-person crew, and begun removing the old unit. By 8:00 p.m., the new furnace was professionally installed, the work area was spotless, and our home was once again warm and safe. The service was truly outstanding. Air Flow Pros delivered a high-quality product at a fair price and completed the entire job within eight hours of my initial call. I couldn't be happier and would recommend them without hesitation.

    I called Air Flow Pros to get a 4th opinion about the repair of my 30 year old heater which stopped…read moreworking and had the good luck to speak with Rudy. After discussing my problem he asked me if I called PG &E. I said no, why should I do that. He said have them check out the furnace for carbon monoxide leaks, pilot light issues etc.and if they say that it needs repair Air Flow Pros will then come out to evaluate the situation. Three days later PG&E checked out my furnace checked the pilot light, replaced a thermocouple and reset a fuse hookup and the furnace was functional again. I was so impressed that Rudy suggested that I call PG&E first, that if I ever need to have my furnace repaired, I will call Rudy and Air Flow Pros. It is clear that they are in business to provide the best, honest, professional and exceptional service available. By the way, the other three opinions were that I needed a new furnace because mine was unfixable!
