Found them here on yelp. Cannot be more satisfied with how professional and well priced! You won't regret using them if you need a chimney sweep! There are a lot of scams out there. People charging almost 300$ for a sweep! Be careful. Call these guys first! read more

Installed a damper on my chimney today. Fast and professional service. Showed up on time and was very efficient? 5 stars definitely.

I called about replacing a chimney cap. This seemingly simple task was exacerbated by the lack of responsive chimney vendors. In contrast, I spoke to the office on the same day that I called initially called in and an appointment was scheduled soon after. On the first site visit, we agreed on a price. However, on the second visit, there was some miscommunication and the replacement cap was smaller than the original one. Luis explained that I would need a custom fabrication to get the original size. We agreed to an escalated price and finish. On the third visit, Luis brought a cap that had been spray painted black, but most of it looked extremely faint and rubbed off on my fingers. He explained that the fabricator didn't have the black metal. I looked up online how to paint this and explained what primer and paint to use. On the fourth visit, everything went smoothly. Of the quotes I obtained: - Luis: $700 smaller cap, $1100 custom bigger cap - Another business that came for a quote: $900 (I agreed), then no response for weeks, then price increased to $1100 when I reached out. - Another company that provided a verbal quote based on pictures I sent: $3000+ This was a more complicated job than anticipated, but I appreciate Luis and Carlito for their positive attitude and commitment in meeting our agreed-to specifications. I would definitely use them again! read more

Great work. Honest, professional, thorough and did great work. The cost is very reasonable.

Solid chimney repair. Even fixed the mortar that was chipping away on my front porch steps. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

Luis came to our house early on Thanksgiving ensuring we could enjoy our Fireplace with our loved ones. He was on time and took great care to keep our decor and BEIGE carpet pristine! He offered advise of how to maintain and a suggestion of helpful modification but did not "push a sale". Thanks so much Luis! We will definitely keep your number handy. read more

Luis was wonderful to work with. We just bought a house that needs a ton of work and the two wood burning fireplaces were definitely in need of some attention. He helped repair them and make them safe for use again. He was prompt, communicative, and overall very helpful. He even was able to add a clean our dryer vents the day of the chimney service when I asked, as those also had been neglected for quite some time. Highly recommend! read more

Luis came out to look at our chimney/fireplace and talk us through options about improving its performance and seismic safety. His advice was really helpful! read more

Great experience! Fast, easy, effective. Quick communication and was able to squeeze us in last minute.

I have used Luis a couple of times to check out and clean the chimney. He was reasonable priced and less than other chimney sweeps. He went out to the house and took care of things. He inspected the chimney and found the fireplace cap was rusted and not sized appropriately. He was able to correct it the same day. I would give Luis 4.5 stars, 1/2 star reduction for the time it took him to reply. I had to call him but he did immediately schedule me for the next day. read more

For Chimney Cleaning and Cap Damper installation. I contacted Luis through Yelp. He replied within a day. First came to look at chimney and to give an estimate. Very nice guy. Seemed very knowledgeable about chimneys and accessories. He ordered the part and a week later came to do the job. Included was a cleaning of chimney and installation of a Cap Damper. The work was neat. He protected the floors and taped off the chimney during cleaning. Everything was done within 1 hour and a half. Afterwards we went over the work and a quick overview of how the new damper worked. He answered all my questions. Overall a good experience. Pricing seemed reasonable. read more

I called Clean Pros to figure out why smoke from my stove was being vented into my basement instead of out through the chimney. Luis climbed on the roof and then informed me that I needed two new caps and that the flue for the fireplace was missing a damper. Sounded reasonable. He came back two weeks later, installed the parts, and showed me how to operate the new damper. Works nicely, but it's not why he was there. When I asked about the stove vent, he gave me a bewildered look, and I proceeded to explain that the stove was the issue I cared about. He then showed me the piece of chimney he had removed; it was a pile of smashed masonry in my back yard. Apparently, he had thrown it down from the roof 3 stories above, with no regard to my two children (and a cat) who might've been playing back there. Luckily, nobody was hurt. Stunned and furious, I nearly threw him out, but decided I'd try to salvage the visit and have him at least look at the stove. So he returned to the roof, and we spent a few minutes troubleshooting. I cooked a few burgers and he claimed he saw smoke coming out of his new vent. He tried to convince me that he had fixed the problem, despite the fact that he had forgotten about his original task and did nothing specific to address the stove vent. But I didn't see smoke going into the basement this time, so I paid him and sent him on his way. A few days later, I cooked burgers again, and this time the smoke alarm went off in my basement. Again. So, I'm out $800+, the problem is not fixed, and I'm not willing to let this guy near my house again due to his endangering my family. An awful experience. read more

Luis was amazing! He responded to my messages very quickly, he was booked out two weeks from when we talked first so I made the appointment. He arrived within the time frame he said, he was so clean, made no mess what so ever and abided by Covid protocol with a mask. I will be using him again for sure! read more

Luis gave me an upfront quote, called to ask if he could arrive earlier in the day, had a mask on, put down tarp and plastic, and cleaned up completely after himself. Polite, efficient, finished up in approx 40 minutes. He said texting is the best way to reach him. Very reasonably priced (best quote that I got!) and straightforward. We will definitely be using him again!!! read more

Luis was responsive and timely. He did a professional job, explained what was needed and gave me options on the different things that could be done with my fireplace and insert. I will definitely be calling on him again! read more

Luis and his assistant did a great job removing/shortening most of our chimney stack (it was wobbly and therefore an earthquake hazard). They also sealed our chimney stack with cement since we don't use it. They were very reliable, professional, friendly and efficient. Luis gave me an estimate on site, was not pushy in letting me get back to him, and arrived on time for the day of the job. He and his assistant finished early and cleaned up everything well. They also both wore masks when in contact with me. I'd highly recommend Luis and his team for any chimney job! read more

The guy showed up 30 minutes early before the appointment without warning. He did a great job showed the photos and everything he was supposed to do. Background: We bought a home in 2017 and were told that we wouldn't be able to use the fireplace unless we bought an insert, or had mortar repaired. We never used the fireplace, but had the desire to do so this Winter. Fireplace inserts typically need either natural gas, or electricity, neither of which are close or readily available where our fireplace is. So, as such, we decided we wanted to repair the mortar. Review: We contacted Luis at Clean Pros Chimney Cleaning as in their description, the also do repairs. Luis called me back after contacting him through Yelp, and we described what we want to get done. He said he likely would be able to do the job, but he wanted to see the scope of work in person. After taking a look at the job, he confirmed he was able to complete the work. I wanted to book with him, so he gave us a quote and the next available date. We agreed to both. Luis came out the night before and dropped off materials for the repair. The day of the appointment, he showed up on time, he was very professional, courteous, and neat with his working space, and completed the job in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Luis for any fireplace repair, and based on his work on repair, I will gladly use in the future for cleanings. read more
