The wait time here can be awhile. There was a lady that sat and waited then got tired of waiting and left. I ordered the Avocado toast with over hard eggs but it came to me hard boiled. I didn't want to send it back. They put too much hollandaise sauce on it and that's all you could taste. I had to practically scrape the sauce off the muffin. I didn't enjoy it at all. I ended up eating my friend's croissant.

Oh my god. This place was so fun! Gorgeous decor, gorgeous drinks and gorgeous wait staff. Everything was delicious and such a unique menu.

This was perfection from start to finish. We did make a reservation online after seeing how cute it was - we were worried we wouldn't get a seat, but I don't think it's necessary. Maybe it's cause Paris has a trillion restaurants but getting a table never seemed to be an issue anywhere. The menu is a little eclectic but mostly Mediterranean and French, with a little Thai. I was drawn to the salads but ultimately ordered the Cassette Planche as a meal. And a meal it was. There was sooo much food: fish spread, smoked salmon, burrata with grilled veggies, pita, avocado, coconut ceviche, and more. We also got a French onion soup and French fries although it's France so maybe what I mean to say is onion soup and frites. All of it was delicious and felt special. The atmosphere is a total knockout. The outside tables have swings instead of chairs! All the servers were friendly and very kindly spoke English for us. This restaurant is fabulous and amazing and I would definitely recommend it.

Cute place! I loved the decor and the overall welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious; I would highly recommend ordering either the onion soup or pumpkin soup for a warm start. The only downside I had for this place was that the service felt a bit strange. The waiter was very inconsistent and made my friends and I uncomfortable at times.

Great corner location. And the service was really good. I would recommend Cafe Cassette! However, my husband was not happy with his steak. It was tough and he was really disappointed. He'd warn you to try something else.

A wonderful neighborhood cafe/bar. We were on vacation for a week in Paris and this little gem was right down the street. The staff is very courteous and the food is fantastic. The decor in this place is very charming and just makes you feel good. The Foi is house made and very good. I do not like fogs so I didn't spread any of the fig spread in. Also they serve with an English muffin type break. No worries because the baguette works even better than toast! The duck breast is very good. I took my daughters and my older daughter lives duck. She had it for dinner and the brunch the next day. My younger girl got the kids meal. Very reasonably price especially given the quality and that she got a drink and dessert!! They only had one thing we did not like. The stark tar tar is not very good. They make it with raw onion and it was strong onion at that. Not very good. But in the other hand the onion soul was amazing!! Love this place would recommend for a good meal or drinks in the evening.

Good food, good location and service was awesome thanks to our waiter Laurent!

I really like this place - good location, very tasty food and service was excellent. Our server was Laurent was very attentive and very patient to explain what the dishes are (note we are tourist). I give Laurent 5 stars! Anyway, we ordered 2 appetizers: foie gras (we're addicted to this and sardines. I know - you might say wtf you are in Paris and I ordered sardines?! Believe me i wasn't planning to have sardines until a Parisian friend suggested that I give it a go - and I'm glad I did. It's amazing! For our main dish we got the magret de canard (duck) and it as so tasty! Just saying the name made me hungry.

Super cute cafe with adorable decor and great outdoor seating. Perfect spot to eat at for breakfast! Delicious breakfast coffee and crepes in the best shopping area and nearby the metro station. I came here before my morning flight and there was plenty of room for all my luggage. Service was great and the food was amazing!

This is one of my favorite cafés in all of Paris! The menu is not quite as similar to most other Café menus. There are a few more options on here and everything is amazing. The atmosphere is similar to others. Outdoor and indoor seating available with perfect people watching views. I highly recommend!

Super slow service overall. Painful to get any service follow-up once the initial order was placed). Simply not attentive.

On the other hand, it made me realize that my mother was a terrible cook. Bistro des Augustins is a small, cozy venue offering both indoor seating and terrace seating near Pont Neuf. It serves a small number of curated dishes, including a wonderfully traditional Bistro Gratin in a homey ceramic dish served piping hot with a brown crispy cheesy top, herbs, spices and chicken. You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. My eyes have been opened to what's possible. Thank you Bistro des Augustins for expanding my culinary horizons. Five stars.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more= Fermier - Cheese gratin with chicken was good. Didn't blow me away, but was solid with the creaminess of the sliced potatoes and emmental cheese combined together with mixed vegetables. The cheese was very strong though, so anything else was unfortunately pretty much overpowered by it. Arrived with bread, but it DEFINITELY could use other carb options to sop it all up (e.g., rice???)! = Landais - Cheese gratin with duck. Same comment as the above, except the Landais had egg and goat cheese also mixed in with almost the same ingredients as the Fermier. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + The lone waitress, who also worked the role as greeter, cashier and bartender was friendly. + Food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ = Small, tight restaurant. = Not many tables inside - 6 in total. + Located a few blocks away from the more touristy restaurants, towards the East, on a much quieter street. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Nada.
