Good food. I recommend the smoothies, they are really great. Next door to this cafe is a place called The Spot where teenagers can come after school to hang out. They usually stop by caffeine addicts and get drinks. Caffeine Addicts probably makes quite a bit of profit from these teens. Anyway so they were in there one day and one teen found a broken chair. This kid did not break the chair, it was broken before he had gotten there. A young employee walked up to him and told him the chair was not broken before he got there and to not be a liar! She was extremely mean! I hope this does not happen again because this place is really tasty. All in all great food and SOMETIMES not so well service. read more

Hubby and I went in about 30 minutes before closing time and expected to be rushed as is the norm at most businesses. That wasn't the case here at all. The people behind the counter were nice and the new owners even came over and talked with us for quite awhile. They were super friendly. I have been wanting to try this place for a long time, i don't live close by so it's out of my way. I had a business meeting and took my people in there. I walked up to the counter with a smile on my face and said "GOOD MORNING" to the young girl behind the counter. Without looking at me or even responding she asked what she could get me, I said again "Good morning!" she literally looked at me and in a very rude tone and look said "good morning." I was driving my mom home from Florida to Michigan in early April 2011. We got off I75 in hopes of finding lunch at a "good local place," typically not an easy quest. We found historic downtown Ringgold and parked the car. Mom asked a lady if she knew a good place for lunch. She pointed out a place down the block. As we walked in the front door, we met the lady coming in the back--the owner. Her grandson made our lunches, which were delicious (see my pimento cheese picture). I love this little coffee shop! Nothing really matches in the decor but it is so comfortable and no nonsense. This place is what I imagine coffee shops were like before Starbucks and all the hipster shops came about! Their drinks are all made fresh, one at a time from beans roasted in house. The frappes are wonderful, the hot drinks equally so. They aren't as "burnt" tasting as Starbucks which is a nice change. The coffee of the day is very affordable and always a wonderful flavor. I just wish it stayed hotter in the self serve dispensers. read more

Caffeine Addicts is my favorite coffee shop, located in downtown Ringgold. I have been going here since I was in 6th grade. The coffee is always fresh. The service is always great. Every drink I have tried has been great- smoothies/shakes, frappuccinos, teas, hot chocolate, and lattes. The coconut-pineapple smoothie is my favorite. Perfect place to go and read or do homework. This business is family run and they are very sweet. The business is set in a historic building in Downtown Ringgold. They make great drinks and take their coffee seriously. The owner roasts her own coffee and can give great information on her roasts. Great lunch food. I can vouch for the homemade pimento cheese. I get it every time I eat there. I've heard their soup is wonderful as well. The atmosphere is relaxing and the space is huge. Great for meetings, clubs, or any other group to gather. There are two different spaces, one with tables and chairs and the other room with multiple couches. There's also a little parlor area up front with a couch. Great place! read more

Such a great little coffee shop in the middle of downtown Ringgold. I am not a Starbucks fan - I don't see the point in paying $8 for watered down brews that wouldn't satisfy any craving. This place knows how to make some coffee (and other drinks too!) The coffee is roasted in house & can even be bagged up to take home. It's a quiet place if you're needing to study or get some work done & there are plenty of seating options from chairs, to benches, to couches. I do not live in Ringgold anymore, but when I am in town, I always make sure to visit! *also a fun fact* - the space used to be a dance studio! I used to spin around all over the place. My son and I were in need of a caffeine fix on our way home from Nashville to Atlanta, but didn't want to stop for gas station coffee. A google search led us to this little spot, and it did not disappoint! The menu is extensive... lattes, frappes, cappuccino, tea, and even Italian soda. They also have a nice selection of scones, muffins, and other sweet treats. The two young people behind the counter were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. They helped us decide on our beverages, offering explanations of how they make various things. My son chose a dreamsicle frappe with espresso for a very unique flavor that he really enjoyed, and I had an Irish Cream latte which was fantastic! This is now one of my favorite coffee places! They have the best muffins and chai tea as well. I would definitely recommend trying it out. It is a great place to study and relax if you're on break or have a big test coming up with lots of sitting space and couches to rest on. read more

It was only 10 minutes off the highway. Located in a cute town with ample parking. The owner was so friendly and helpful. She explained the roasting process to us and offered up suggestions. I had the Mounds coffee and my hubby had a Hazelnut. We both had an extra shot of espresso, delicious! We wanted a bit to eat, but didn't want a full sandwich. They offer chicken salad by the ounce. It was a bit slow for them when we stopped in but it was close to dinner time. We had frappe mochas and my daughter had the vanilla. All very tasty and served with a smile and conversation. Quick morning coffee decision. I had a chia tea latte and a cinnamon roll, both which were excellent. My friend had a Vanilla Frappuccino and cinnamon roll and equated it to Starbucks.
