The drinks were underwhelming. The Cold Brew was sour (despite adding milk), and the Matcha Latte tasted like milk with sugar. We ended up having to pay extra to add sweeteners (they use syrups), which made the drinks taste artificial. The atmosphere was cozy, felt like a great place to get work done.
This place is incredible!!! I love how convenient it is lots of parking or you can pick up a coffee while you wait for your car to get washed next-door The staff was very kind and welcoming. Love the cowboy decor inside very cute. Enjoyed one of their delicious desserts from Sugarcinns I'm hooked along with one of their coffees. It was perfect. Definitely coming back to try their Matcha. Over all 5 stars
A new, spacious coffee shop on El Camino with a parking lot. We love that. I ordered the monkey matcha and got one of their pastries, looks like donut and its light and fluffy. Staff was so nice and even offered my picky dog a treat. Drinks did take some time but I wasn't in a rush. My drink was not too sweet and I feel like I got good value for the price. They have some seasonal drinks for the summer, so fun. The space is so spacious and clean, sofas in the waiting area but there are tables in the nook area.
This place has a southern charm to it that really connects to the name of the shop and you can feel that hospitality when you walk in. The baristas were kind and patient. As a new customer this was definitely something I appreciated. My wife and I ordered the toasted saddle first while we did some work for a couple of hours. The toasted saddle was alright. I think the marshmallow cold foam was delicious but the coffee had a much more acidic taste, and I'm not a fan. For cold brew, most of the acidic taste usually mellows out so it was a bit odd that it didn't when we tried it. The team allowed us to make a swap so we switched one of them for the New Years Bliss. The matcha was just alright. It had a bland taste to it, even with the strawberry cold foam. I think it's possible that those just aren't our drink so we will have to give it another try. Overall great customer service but the coffee left more to be desired.
I stopped by Caffeinated Cowboy and tried the Monkey Matcha. The cafe is really cute, and there's a parking lot right next to it, which makes it very convenient. They also have plenty of seating, a restroom for customers, and they're open until 4 PM, which is great if you're looking for a place to hang out or get some work done. The Monkey Matcha wasn't my favorite. It was much sweeter than I expected and didn't really taste like matcha. If you like a stronger, more traditional matcha flavor, this one may not be for you. That said, I'd definitely come back to try their coffee. Their summer menu looked delicious, and there were several drinks that caught my eye. Overall, it's a cozy spot with a great atmosphere, and I'm looking forward to giving their coffee a try next time.
The first time I tried coming here, I stopped by around 3 PM and they had already run out of ice, so I came back two weeks later to finally try their drinks since the menu sounded interesting. The drinks weren't bad, but I feel like they weren't anything especially unique or memorable. They use Torani syrups, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it does make the drinks taste similar to other places that use the same syrups. The flavors also leaned a little more toward an artificial syrup taste rather than something that felt more homemade or distinctive. I ordered the banana coffee, but they had run out of the banana whip and substituted it with banana cold foam instead. It was still fine, but unfortunately it didn't have any wow factor. Overall, the drinks are decent, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back or make a special trip for them.
Some tables to the right and bar seats to the left large counter. Ordered the bee happy lavender honey matcha. Punch card 10 drinks for a free one. Bee happy - not bad matcha not as strong as other matcha cafes in the city but the taste of lavender was strong without too much sweetness. Matcha flavor is present without much bitterness but doesn't especially stand out either. 7.5/10 not bad
Cute new coffee shop near hillsdale mall in San Mateo. Parking lot has a decent number of spots thankfully, but I could see it being hard to find it spot during peak times. The shop is actually pretty big and open, and it's well maintained inside. Staff are very friendly and even came and handed us our drinks/food which we didn't expect! I got the french toast latte and my partner got the bee happy matcha latte. We both really enjoyed them :) the cups they came in were pretty big too.

The flavor was not intense and overpowering instead very well paired with the vanilla cold foam. It's on the larger size I think it's 12-16 ounces, and it's one size. The French toast latte was my brother's choice and he loved it. He said the cinnamon was not overwhelming and he drank it so fast... The blueberry matcha was perfect for the summer and had Coconut flakes on top! Cute couches, very comfortable and clean space. The servers were kind. The only thing that's a bit of a pain was the fact that the lot is packed and there's no street parking so you might want to mentally prepare for either walking from a down the street spot or waiting awhile for parking
This coffee shop is so cute. Everyone who works there is very friendly and I enjoy their drinks. I mean who doesn't love a cold foam in whatever flavor you want. And the cinns cupcakes are very tasty there as well. I don't understand the hateful people with their stupid reviews. It's a coffee shop they make coffee, yes you can make it at home but you're not going to. What do the other places do count the beans in each drink? Y'all sound miserable. A very tasty drink with good quality espresso. I like the seating area here both inside and outside, although the outside area hasn't changed. The interior has been painted a really pleasant, light pink, and the new decor is an added touch. They still have the weird couches the old place had, but it's a nice place to sit while you wait for your car to be cleaned. Overall, great new place!

We went on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of parking out front. It is a pretty spacious place and I love how it has natural light that makes the place stand out! As soon as we came in we were greeted with a friendly place. With it being our first time here we asked the barista what they would recommend. We tried the Toasted Saddle. The toasted marshmallow cold foam was to absolutely die for! I love how the cold foam gave the cold brew just enough balance between bitter and sweet. I can't wait to come back and try their matcha and use my punch card!

On my first visit, the barista recommended the New Year's Bliss Vanilla Matcha with Strawberry Cold Foam, and it is incredible. If you're like me and love a sweeter matcha, this is the drink for you. The 'Western Chic' interior is adorable, and I'm so excited they offer Reviver Red Bulls, the Peninsula definitely needed a spot like this! I'll be back soon to work my way through the rest of the menu.

Very excited to try this place as I saw it all over Tiktok. I basically drink a cold brew every day so I LOVE a good cold brew and the flavored cold foams are my weekend treats. So of course I had to get a cold brew with strawberry foam. When I tried it, the strawberry foam honestly did not do it for me, it was very artificial, it reminded me of strawberry Nesquik. I couldn't really tell if the cold brew itself was good because it was overpowered by the flavor of artificial strawberry. Not my favorite :( but I would come back to try other ones esp since the people here seem super friendly and would love to support and maybe this one was just a miss. read more

I've been wanting to try their Pleasanton location for months, and happened to be in the peninsula area and couldn't miss the opportunity to try their coffee. The coffee was fresh, flavorful, and made just right. I love the options of sugar free syrups and milk alternatives. You can tell they care about quality and creating a great customer experience. Caffeinated Cowboy is a GEM of a new coffee location in the peninsula. The ladies are so sweet and their summer menu has been incredible. I always order the Monkey Business iced latte. I really hope they kept some sort of version of it in the fall. It's absolutely incredible. The drinks were pretty generic--nothing impressive or memorable. There were only two menus available(for the whole establishment it seemed)in front of the register, so we had to wait for the people ahead of us to read the menu .... then order .., for us to do the same since we've never been. The interior was also very nondescript and didn't really have much of a vibe. I checked this place out, got it out of my system, and probably wouldn't go back. read more
