My husband and I just came here with our daughter this morning for breakfast before heading out for our day! This place is AMAZING! Our breakfast sandwiches were made fresh, & so we're our coffees & teas! They had such an amazing selection & the owner herself made our breakfast! She was so kind & the service was incredible. Very convenient with a pretty wide variety of choices for a bakery. I liked the fact that they brewed tea in a pot though it was too strong. We ordered egg&cheese sandwich on a bagel which was great, but they said they ran out of avocado only after we paid for the avocado toast. Their signature cream cheese muffin was also a less sweet alternative to regular muffins. A pretty decent place to have breakfast and snacks if you want to take a break from more expensive places. While on a short vacation, my mother, sister and I stopped at Caffeinated Bakery for a quick bite and some pick-me-ups. The girl at the counter was bubbly and super friendly (I forget her name, but she had cool purple hair and a groovy X-Files tee). The decor was charming-- the place was cozy, smelled great, and Edward Scissorhands was playing on the television (which is A++ in my book). We ordered cold brews, chocolate croissants, and GF coconut muffins (as well as some neat, sustainable bamboo drinking straws). When we got back to our car with our little haul, we took bites of the muffins (fresh & warm), and were so blown away by how good they were, that we immediately went back for more. They rocked at making my wife and I feel cared for during our vacation to Clearwater, from the questions about how our last adventure went to the delicious pastries. Last day on the beach and we wanted good coffee and something a little lighter before traveling back to GA. Wish we'd found this sooner! Loved it! The service was fantastic! The small cafe had a rush right after us. The 2 ladies handled it with efficiency and grace. We had croissant sandwich and ham and egg cups (perfect for keto) and splurged on a cream cheese muffin fresh out of the oven. So much for light breakfast. but worth it! Great place to grab a cup of coffee and the BEST baked good you will find on the beach. It is a 5 minute walk from the beach (I am talking grab your coffee to go and drink it on the beach-close.) Tina (owner) is phenomenal. She made me feel welcomed and made some great suggestions since everything looked so darn good. Price point is excellent. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. They offer a good selection of fresh items (that were coming out of the oven as I walked in...key here: FRESH.) Croissants, muffins, biscuits, raspberry crowns, scones. The cream cheese muffin and croissant boat I had were out of this world. Buttery, chewy, flaky...dream worthy. They also have a full coffee bar with tea, too. I took mine to go on the beach. I am still fascinated with how bad this bakery was days after my visit that I'm compelled to write a review after years of not reviewing any restaurants on here. After reading the great reviews I made my way down to this bakery while staying in Clearwater Beach and ordered an iced Americano with oat milk and a croissant. The total came to $10, which is a lot for a coffee and a pastry but understandable for clearwater beach where everything is tourist priced. Plus when you pay $10 for a coffee and simple pastry at most cafes you can at least expect some level of quality so whatever. But what I got instead was a cup of tepid espresso water with exactly THREE ice cubes and a murky splash of the worst watery oat milk I've ever tasted, alongside a re-heated stale crisco/margarine based grocery store croissant. The croissants at Walmart are literally better than what they were serving here. I didn't look at the croissant or open the bag it was in until I was back at my hotel a few minutes later and because the owners were extremely nice and friendly I felt bad asking for them to sort my coffee out again after already asking once for more ice and realizing ice wasn't exactly going to fix the problem of a cup of tepid tap water with two shots of bland, metallic tasting espresso. I mean who fills an Americano up with lukewarm water before adding the espresso and ice?!? Overall it was nasty but after forcing myself to drink half of it in an attempt to not waste money I swear the coffee made me feel off and weird for the rest of the morning. Plus I'm pregnant so it really sucked. I also had to throw the "croissant" away because it was inedible. Again the owners were very friendly and seem to have good intentions but this place was just not it at all. read more

Caffeinated Bakery is under new management! I visited one day during lunch, and was pleasantly surprised at such cozy atmosphere and really friendly service. For lunch I had their soup of the day and a ham and cheese sandwich on a croissant. Both were delicious! Finally I got a "water ice" dessert. It's really interesting in that it's not quite gelato but not snow cone either. A happy medium if you will! I got pina colada, mango, and cotton candy. Yum! My favorite part was how affordable everything was, which is great because beach prices suck when you work on the beach and you're hungry. Place had a great vibe the minute we walked in. Staff is super friendly. We ordered a bagel, english muffin in which both were buttered perfectly.
