This place was awesome. When you walk in you can smell the amazing coffee. We ordered 4 bagels. A spicy jalapeno bagel with jalapeno salsa cream cheese, everything bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese, plain bagel with plain cream cheese, and an everything bagel with plain cream cheese. Myself and my SIL also got frappes. I tried their Dubai chocolate frappe and she got the salted caramel frappe. Everything was so good! The girls behind the counter were friendly and fast. I love that they have lots of unique flavor options. My favorite is the pumpernickel bagel, which can be hard to find! I got an egg and cheese sandwich and it was both filling and tasty. The ambiance is nice, with a decent amount of seating and a big easy-to-read menu. The service was pretty good as well. What a great way to start your morning. All the staff always have a smile on their face. They're so willing to help. And do everything they can to expedite your order, but most importantly always get it right. They have such a large menu and they'll make anything you want however you want. It's not easy to do that when you have a full store of customers. In addition, their food is amazing. The bagels are as close to New York as you're gonna get. Placed our order online the night before. I had to list the bagels I wanted rather than select from a list. Since we have ordered both ways before, I didn't think anything.of it. When we went to pick up our bagels, the woman with whom my son talked couldn't find the order no matter what my son tried to tell her. This also happened the last time I picked up bagels. I had a receipt on my phone which we had to use to get the bagels. When we got home we found that they had just given us a baker's dozen of random bagels rather than what we had ordered. Unfortunately the bagels were not the kinds we like and even some we were allergic to! And by the second day they were hard! A solid bagel. While the bagels are boiled and baked they aren't quite NY style. They were a bit doughy and thicker than NY bagels and the crust wasn't as crispy. But they were far better than many other bagel places. I also had a bialy, which uses a different dough than a bagel and isn't boiled. There is also an indent in the center rather than a hole that is filled with a topping of poppy seeds and onions. It's pretty rare to find a bialy at all, and these were not bad. They were thicker than a traditional bialy and but the dough was tasty, the crust was spot on, and the poppy seed onion filling was good. I had it with veggie cream cheese and to say that the portion of cream cheese was generous would be an understatement. The bialy had a LOT of cream cheese. And it was tasty. And the coffee was also quite good. All in all a solid choice for breakfast. read more

I tried this location with my husband. The donuts they offer are very affordable and quite large!! They also serve some great coffee/latte options. The inside is not super "cute" but it has its own style/old fashioned feel to it that I would describe as something akin to the 50s. It's a place that you want to just pop in on your way to work as a go to staple donut and coffee shop. The service is fast and the food is affordable. I actually enjoy the small shop locations and thought the donuts tasted better than Dunkin donuts or maybe even fancier donut shops like Fridas and they are very nice sized. I come here about once a month. I don't understand why customer service is so different at this location compared to Dunedin. In Dunedin they are always pleasant. This location the woman that's behind the counter that makes the sandwiches has such an attitude. Every time I come in I ask them to cut the bagel all the way at the bottom so it's two pieces instead of one piece that's partially cut. And every time she gives an attitude and never does it. This was my last straw. I probably won't be back because of the service at this establishment. And I happen to notice while I was sitting there eating, a gentleman at the next table with the exact same issue. He tried, pulling apart the bagel and couldn't because it wasn't cut all the way so he had to eat it half cut and you could tell he was struggling. We were craving donuts and this place is close to our house. Husband got an apple fritter and a glazed and I got a lemon filled and a sour cream glazed. Those are my favorite donuts and I could barely eat half. I'm not sure if it was old grease or what but not good. Neither of us liked any of them. She clearly does not want to be working the there and if it was my establishment I would have fires her. Probably family though. Lol. Now to the food. It's not good. Unfortunately, I am frequently served by one young woman who is very unfriendly, makes you feel rushed, doesn't offer to slice your bagels, or even speak to you to ask what you would like or give the common courtesy's of a "hello", or "thank you." Unfortunately this was a big disappointment. We picked up a bakers dozen of bagels yesterday for a girls weekend. When we got home the bagels were hard and cold, as if they had been frozen. They had little to no flavor and were hard to chew. Terrible bagels. We had three different types of cream cheese all of which were flavorless. Maybe not the best looking place, but they certainly have very good bagels and donuts. They have plenty of options of each and they have super exciting items like cronuts. They have very good coffee as well and it's good as any independent coffee shop you can find. The donuts themselves are sizable so they are a good value and the batter is deliciously light and the icing is perfectly creamy and sweet. For the bagels, I also love their house made spreads that you can buy that are absolutely delicious. They also had some very unique donut flavors like the key lime and they had this really cool volcano one that was very tall and a jelly coming out of it and looked like a volcano. The employees were fantastic and nice. I only wish they had a better tea selection. They have hot water and tea bags there but not a great selection or anything exciting like a chai latte. I will however be returning next time for some great breakfast items! read more

Bagels are good. But the people that work here are cold & rude. I order bagels all the time, always to go in advance through an app. They don't help you when you walk in. You have to wait around even when there's no one in the store. On the weekends forget it, it's like you are not even a customer. Overall my experience at St Pete Bagel Co was average. The service was awful, rude, and disappointing. After ordering and paying for coffee the server actually said "our coffee is not that good". This held up to be the truth as it tasted very watered down. The bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich was very average in taste, portion, and quality. The only redeeming parts of the experience were that it is CHEAP: bagel = $1.64 sandwich $4 and coffee $2. The bagel was also very good! I would ONLY return for a bagel. read more

Every time we visit Largo, we patronize St. Pete Bagel Company several times during our visit. This morning I went and ordered 5 bagels-2 were with spread and 3 were egg sandwiches. Upon returning home, I realized that there were only 4 bagels in the bag, my egg sandwich was missing. I called immediately and told them what happened. The only solution offered was to come back today to get the missing bagel. I explained to the person on the phone that I would be in again as we are here for a week and she said that wasn't an option. This was horrible customer service and extremely disappointing.
