Good coffee (we got mochas) service is good also. The shop is small not much seating and could use some ventilation as it smells like bacon when you walk in, which then you smell like that when you walk out. We went right when they opened so maybe later in the day it isn't as bad. read more

Cute little place with friendly, helpful staff. The blueberry muffin was superb! Big, yummy blueberries and lots of them. Muffin was still warm from the oven-delicious. My chai latte was soo disappointing. It basically was a glass of milk with a slight chai flavor. I am not an expert on latte's so maybe I am wrong here, but would NOT order a latte here again. Came here on a Wednesday morning with friends while on vacation in Clearwater Beach. The staff was very friendly, we got two muffins and coffees. Don't even think twice COME HERE & support. Way better then Starbucks for sure. Service was amazing! I ordered a iced americano, with half and half. I noticed that they had a banana cream syrup. I added that. The color of the coffee was super appealing. I'm a coffee snob. If it's not eye pleasing I won't drink it. I ABSOLUTELY WILL BE COMING BACK EVERYDAY of vacation !!! I've been coming to Clearwater Beach regularly for 6 years and I always make it a point to walk over and visit here for breakfast. The service is super friendly, and the food is delicious. The owner really cares about her customers and their experience. I typically get an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich, but the muffins and pastries are also soo good! read more

This place is the best! I got an iced mocha with raspberry and my wife got a specialty cold tea (she doesn't do well with caffeine) My coffee was splendid and so was my wife's tea! We also I ordered a chocolate muffin. (They bake everything fresh throughout the day) it was just out of the over. Man 10/10 We also had the herbed scone. Also a great choice. Had a slight kick to it. We also shared the biscuit cup. She asked us if we had everything and I clumsily said yes. A few minutes later I realized we didn't have our gracy biscuit. She apologized and gave us two for the inconvenience we created for ourselves. Seriously nice folks, and delicious food. Would totally recommend. read more

Me and my friend are absolute coffee-holics and NEEDED a good cup of coffee on our vacation. I am so glad we came here. It's small little store, but for what they lack in size they make up in atmosphere. All of their staff were so nice and very patient while I was taking so long to choose something off their amazing menu. They have something for everyone here. Amazing baked goods, teas, coffees, espresso, fun specialty drinks like reeces latte and white pumpkin mocha. One of the ladies from behind the counter (who I assume is probably the owner) came over to ask us how our food was and if we needed anything! I got the breakfast croissant sandwich and a dirty chai tea latte (chai tea + shot of espresso) and I highly reccomend. After spending all morning talking to kids about how to protect the sea turtles whose likenesses populate Gulfview Boulevard, I needed a snack and a spark. Caffeinated Bakery offered both in name and excelled in delivery. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, a whole bunch of gluten free and vegan options, and they're a certified Ocean Friendly Business, which means they don't serve plastic bags and styrofoam containers, they recycle, and they only offer straws on request. It seems like a no brainer for any business close to a beautiful beach like Clearwater's, but these noble folks are one of the few in the area that have taken the extra steps so far. Also, my dog was super jelly of my morning glory muffin, so it was extra nice when Jill brought out fresh-baked pumpkin-based doggie treats. Everybody went home happy. read more

My husband and I stayed one week in Clearwater Beach and our only regret was not finding this place sooner. Their best cappuccino was the best he's had outside of our honeymoon in Italy, and it was served with a friendly smile by Jill, the cheerful owner. Everything here is organic and many options are also gluten-free. My husband has an egg yolk allergy, and Jill mentioned that she would be happy to tweak her recipe to accommodate that (we were leaving that morning but appreciated the gesture). We actually ended up having breakfast here twice: once on our second-to-last day, and again right before leaving town. The first morning I had an orange cranberry scone which was absolutely scrumptious - very moist and not heavy like some scones can be. On our last morning, I had the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, also on a scone (a savory one this time). Something we were surprised about in Clearwater Beach was that many of the coffee places did not open until 9 AM. I mean, what's the point?! In contrast, the Caffeinated Bakery opens promptly at 7 AM, the perfect time to get a steaming cuppa joe. Definitely check this place out, it's less than a block off the main drag. My husband and I just came here with our daughter this morning for breakfast before heading out for our day! This place is AMAZING! Our breakfast sandwiches were made fresh, & so we're our coffees & teas! They had such an amazing selection & the owner herself made our breakfast! She was so kind & the service was incredible. This place is a GEM! Get the cinnamon rolls!! It was one of the best we have ever had. Visiting from Chicago, we are big foodies, and we were so impressed with this place. I stopped by a little later in the day, so they were almost sold out, but I still managed to grab some guava and cheese pastries. They were light, fluffy, and exactly how pastries should be...absolutely delicious. I also tried a chocolate cupcake and a slice of red velvet cake. Both were a bit denser than I prefer, so I'd personally stick with the pastries because they were fire! The café itself is very quaint, with a few bar stools inside and a couple of tables outside, making it a cute spot to sit and enjoy a coffee and pastry. Overall, I'll definitely be back for the pastries. Yum!

I love that they've added a seating area, because trust me -- most of these items didn't even make it home. They were eaten well before I got there. The owner was very informative also and friendly.
