Walked into to petit cafe, it was decorated with its menu on one side in chalk. The register/counter was close by with friendly staff waiting to give you an amazing suggestion to go with your order. Everything we had melted in our mouths. The other side of the cafe had clean tables and booths looking outside. The place was packed. When we travel, we like to grab BEC because it usually will keep me full for a, long time. I found this little spot on Yelp. It didn't come up on Google by searching Bagels which I thought was strange. My BEC was yummy. The bacon wasn't too tough or rubbery. The egg was fluffy and thick but not rubbery. They only offered American or Cheddar. But either works fine. My husband loves blueberry muffins so when he saw them on the menu of course he ordered one. Holy macaroni this place is amazing. We stopped in here on the early morning on the 4th of July to get some breakfast and enjoy it on the beach before the day got crazy. Not only was the service friendly and quick, but the food is just incredible. I'm telling you, this was the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The egg was cooked to perfection. This is a cute coffee shop and bakery near the beach in Clearwater. Local vibe with friendly staff, definitely zero qualms with the atmosphere. If I have to be honest, the coffee just was not good. I make espresso at home and am into the hobby, so am definitely pickier than most. With that context, I found the espresso here had a very burnt old flavor that tells me it was either: 1. Over extracted 2. Old 3. There were old grinds in the espresso machine that need cleaning. These off flavors weren't even masked by the fact I got an iced vanilla latte. This little place on the beach is super cool and the staff is very friendly. We would stop there almost every morning on our way to the beach. We would get their cinnamon rolls, which were so big and delicious. I would get the macchiatos- also good. Many different options to choose from. All of it was so freaking delicious! We got 2 bacon, egg, & cheese bagels- the bacon was crispy, not soggy and the ratio of BEC was perfect. The coffees (iced caramel macchiato and iced pumpkin spiced latte) were delicious too- even the ice cubes were made of coffee to prevent watering down. Lastly, the cinnamon roll is a must try! Did someone say... vegan pastries on Clearwater Beach? Heck yes they did. It's 2020 baby and we are truly living our best lives anywhere we go! (Except for maybe Ocala or Kentucky). This is a very cute place and I'll absolutely be back! Indoor seating (not really now due to COVID) and outdoor seating available - however limited. I had a blueberry lemon scone and let me tell you, it was the best vegan pastry I've ever had! I also tried the banana bread, which unfortunately wasn't impressive. The coffee was alright. I'm officially requesting this establishment to add oat milk to the menu, as that would've elevated my experience. I was told most of the flavors are vegan, so during one of my 3 visits I tried a PEANUT BUTTER almond milk iced latte and it was very impressive. Keep up the good work! If only I drank my latte with regular shots of flavor (I only do sugar free) I would have tried the banana, so unique! We tried this this morning, our first coffee of this trip, and it was pretty great. The service was fast, friendly and efficient even though the were busy. The coffee is acceptable and hit the spot. I got a latte iced with almond milk and my husband also got a latte with oat milk. The kids both got muffins, one gluten free AND VEGAN! Extra points for this, thank you! I also got a GF scone with raisins and it was on par with GF baked goods. Not as good as the real deal but amazing to find out.
