They make good use of the space. We shared a few appetizers to start. The baby arugula salad was quite tasty and brimming with toppings. The pears were very thinly sliced and I loved the rich gorgonzola, complemented nicely by the sweet cranberries. I enjoyed the burrata starter as well. The cheese was smooth and creamy. My family was also happy with the crab cakes. For my main, I ordered the burrata pizza. The menu said it was topped with mushrooms, but it showed up with olives, which were way too salty. I purchased a Groupon for Caffe Regatta for a very reasonable price and I just went to dinner tonight with my son. It was a delightful cozy restaurant. Perfect if you want privacy or they have a huge booth that you can sit at with a bunch of friends. I was seated right away and my son joined me about 10 minutes later. During my wait I used the restroom and it was nice and clean. The service was TOP OF THE LINE. Such a very courteous nice staff. Complimentary bread and butter was served. For the appetizer we ordered the flat bread which was delicious. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi and my son had the burger with fries and it also came with a ton of onion rings. I had a soft drink but wine came with the meals and my son had a glass of wine which he loved. My son Loved the burger, fries and onion rings. I LOVED my Shrimp Scampi!!! I was shocked because I almost always hate the shrimp that's served except in select few places. The Shrimps were TO DIE FOR!! Absolutely a delicious meal! Went here last week for dinner but they were only serving brunch. I ordered an appetizer of calamari but it was a cluster of four pieces of squid with the legs and several rings mixed with fried zucchini. I hate legs so I didn't eat them but my husband did. The marinara sauce was just average, nothing to write home about. However, hubby loved his clams in red sauce. We ordered drinks and our son also ordered a drink. We all agreed that our drinks were not good. My pomegranate martini was very bitter. To add flavor to the drink I squeezed a slice of lime and lemon in it. That helped a little but not much. We tried Caffe Regatta with a Groupon and were pleasantly surprised at what a wondering meal and dining experience we had. The place is small and intimate, which was nice for date night. We started with the house made Burrata, which was creamy and decadent. For the entree, we both had the hangar steak with fingerling potatoes and creamed spinach. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the spinach was excellent. We were too stuffed for dessert but did enjoy a few glasses of wine as we sat and digested our meal. I went it and ordered them at the bar and after paying the hefty price I returned to the car and then my daughter and I unwrapped the lobster rolls. Some of the outside of the bread was burnt and hard and the lobster was very over seasoned and tough . The lobster itself was tastless and bland . I couldn't eat it and was disgusted. I have been here a few times in the past and the food was good. Today I purchased a Groupon for four people for almost $100 and it has to be the worst experience or at least one of my worst experiences in a restaurant. I will never come back here again. They lost a customer today. Everything we ordered was ice cold. We ordered a shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta, but it was a thick spaghetti and it was extremely salty. We explained to the waiter & he brought us over another bowl of plain spaghetti but again it was extremely salty. The manager came over and apologized and said she tasted the pasta in the back and yes it was salty and they were remaking the dish and would bring us another order of the shrimp scampi well... What she brought over was an order of spaghetti with melted butter on top, not scampi sauce, but butter!!! We also ordered the salmon and trout w/ mussels and clams, which was all cold. As an apology they brought us over a crème brûlée, which tasted like stale refrigerater, and it was gritty and ice cold inside. We had such a great dinner here the other night! My husband and I stopped in for a very early dinner before getting home to our son. Right off the train so super convenient for commuters. I was impressed by how beautiful the restaurant is- well decorated, relaxing, and well lit. The serving staff were very friendly and welcoming. We shared the lobster croquettes which were large and filled with more lobster an I expected. I would definitely order these again although the rest of the app menu looked interesting. I also noticed the pours were super generous - much appreciated! I had the lobster pasta and my husband had the halibut. Both were delicious. The pasta was huge and tasty, the sauce had some spice to it which I enjoyed. There was a ton of lobster in there as well, though there were some overly large pieces and some that didn't taste as good. Wondered if they weren't as good. My husband loved his halibut and appreciated a healthier option on the menu. I knocked off a star mostly from the lobster but also because our molten chocolate cake dessert wasn't anything impressive, and pretty tiny considering the other portions of the evening. From my 1st visit to my most recent experience at this restaurant they have all been great! Its a smaller restaurant which just makes it quaint. Each time we've dined bet 5-7p and the 5pm crowd is a little thin but wait because by 6p almost every table was occupied. There are locals at the bar which is a + to see them greeted like genuine friends. The staff (2 waiters) are extremely attentive and check on you constantly. The food is well prepared and very reasonably priced. I've enjoyed the pasta and the Wednesday $1 raw oysters (we shared 4 dz..!) and they have Sancere wine so I of course will be back. She walked past my table at least 20 times, never once did she acknowledge us, ask how everything was. Food was good. Service was not good. No one checked on us. I took the drive up here to try this place out for Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. We were able to find street parking easily in front of the restaurant. We were greeted by the hostess/bartender and had a short wait before being seated. I am not certain what the regular menu prices are but I got a pretty good 3-course seafood dinner for $32.95. I started off with the calamari and my friend opted for the short ribs with risotto which were both good except for the rice in broth that they were trying pass off as risotto. I had the swordfish as my entree which was delicious and almost melted in my mouth. We finished off with dessert; my chocolate cake was tasty but could have used some ice cream to balance out the decadence of the chocolate. The food was good, seafood variety was great but the service was meh. Multitasking staff who weren't as attentive as they needed to be will make me think twice about coming back but memories of the yummy swordfish will bring me back here eventually... read more

This place can easily be a 5 star joint but from what I experienced tonight I'm going to keep it at 3 stars. Caffe Regatta is not a big restaurant it's rather cozy with a small bar and a couple of TV's above it. The food was very good but the service was totally lacking. With 3 waiters and the owner hustling around plus a girl at the front I would have expected better. Slower that the last shit I took to be honest. Our menus we given to us when we sat down and a little while later the waiter takes our drink order. The drink arrives at the table and then at least 15 minutes pass until he takes our order. That's where it went down hill. It took FOREVER for our appetizer and main courses to come. At least come and check on us in between. The two hardest working people were the owner and the bus boy. It was a nice cozy place. I made reservations for brunch to celebrate my sisters birthday and it was a good choice. Let's start with the place. It's a small and cozy but has a bar so that's always a plus. It's located conveniently on a main Ave so it's easy to find and also near the metro north station. The food was good. We ordered the Flat Bread Delicata to start with and it was really good! It had figs, prosciutto and mascarpone and it was just the right go labors together. Or main dishes were the French toast, the steak and eggs and I ordered the waffles. I liked the presentation for all the dishes and I really liked that they used fresh fruits for the waffles and the French toast. I do have to say my French toast was slightly burned but nothing too bad and it was edible. I also ordered the Belleni-tini and it was so good! The service was good and staff were friendly. Ok, so this is an update from my original review and I can honestly say that I will NEVER return here to dine again. OLD REVIEW: I used to love this place. I have recently become a pescaterian but have not eaten pork for over two decades. My family and I returned to this restaurant because we have enjoyed prior dinners here. I ordered what I thought was a pure seafood meal of crab-crusted cod. I had a feeling there was pork in the meal but when I asked the server he told me that there was definitely no pork in the dish. Later, I found out that there was pork in the dish and I didn't like the server's attitude towards me. I have never been so irritated by a business. What ever happened to customer service? I intend to speak to the owner and have this issue rectified. The outcome of this matter will determine my return. NEW REVIEW: So, after days of trying to get in contact with the owner and bypassing that very RUDE server/manager or whatever he claimed to be, I finally got in contact with the owner, via email, who is surprisingly also a chef. He was VERY apologetic and explained to me that it was a grave mistake on the part of the kitchen that my meal even HAD pork in it at all. He said that the dish I ordered should never have had pork in it and he didn't understand why the server would have told me otherwise. He apologized for the server's attitude towards me and my husband when we initially tried to get our money back for the entree and asked me how I would like to resolve the situation. I requested a refund for my entree which he agreed was completely fair. I went back to the restaurant and was met with the same server/manager, Shane (I later found out his name), and proceeded to give him the remains of my uneaten pork-laden meal. He was unapologetic even though he clearly LIED to me to cover up the kitchen's mistake as well as his own when we told me before that, "We've always used pork in our crab cakes". He trotted his little rude ass to the office and was made to give us our refund himself. As smug as he seemed, I am sure he hasn't learned anything in regards to customer service and satisfaction. Tonight we got takeout for the second time in quarantine from them. Both times they were so friendly and nice, while also being safe during pickup. We ordered mojitos tonight, and it meant a lot to me that they waited until I showed up to add the ice, so that it wouldn't be cold but not water down by the time we got home with it. Both times in quarantine, and the one time we ate there in person when we first moved to town, the food has been absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, really good quality fish and seafood. Ordered a dozen oysters and got them on a healthy bed of ice. They were yummy... Really hit the spot. I found this place on a Groupon and I fell in love. Small little place in Pelham with a raw bar. Very quiet atmosphere but the service is impeccable. The oysters are out of this world.
