The flounder was supremely tasty! I was floored. Great takeout experience and the food and condiments were well packed both times that I visited. I also tried the mozzarella sticks, cajun fries and corn and they didn't disappoint. I ordered wings for others and was told that it had major flavor factor. I past by this place a few times and finally decided to give it a try. I called in my order for pick up. The guy on the phone was friendly to me. He then called back in around ten minutes once the order was ready for pickup. They gave us a good amount of food. Especially shrimp. The crab legs were a bit skinny though. The flavor was tasty and the temperature was a good temp. They included bibs, gloves, forks and napkins in the bag. I didn't get better photos because I was too ready to eat. A win for me! I ordered (2) pounds of the king crab legs and my husband and I enjoyed them. Now; I make the best crab boils, but this is surely a nice treat when you don't want to cook! The King crab dinner comes with potatoes and corn - I added sausage. I also ordered a flounder "po boy" I don't know why the negative reviews lol. This is my new favorite spot! Go Mount Vernon!! Ordered delivery and pickup from here. The delivery was great, just had a lot of fees. The pickup went very smooth and I like that option better. The food was very good. Not overcooked and very flavorful. The one thing I will say is the snow crab was extremely tiny. The 1lb came with 3 clusters but they were so tiny, which led to a lot more work. We usually drive to City Island when we're craving seafood like this - this is just as good, okay better, and not as expensive. They have lots to offer. They have a Combo offer - it's like a Crab Boil (if you've ever done that) - you order by the pound and it comes in a big plastic bag with corn & potatoes. Saw this yesterday on Uber eats, have never been inside but I decided to order cause someone on Facebook had talked about it. It replaced the buffet. Not super expensive but they could put more potatoes in the bag. There's like 2 baby red potatoes in each bag. Still the flavor is great! I had the black mussels and the shrimp with the head off and got a side order of sausage and two eggs. I got the mussels with the Cajun seasoning, and shrimp with the garlic butter. The Cajun seasoning was so much better though and I got it medium heat but if you like spice it's nothing so I'd definitely get spicy next time. I ordered the lobster and shrimp seafood boil which was amazing the Cajun sauce was filled with flavor that had me even sucking on the shells of the shrimp! We also ordered the Cajun wings (not breaded) which were soft and flavorful. I can't wait to have the craving for this again. I didn't know that this establishment had many chains across the US. Why frozen mussels? The liquor live mussels release when you cook them is the reason for eating them (green mussels have to be shipped from places like new zealand, so they have to be frozen, so they shouldn't be on a menu in New York in my opinion). I had the black mussels, also frozen. WHY? Charge me more if you need to, but bring in farm raised or PEI's for example. Its a shame. I didn't know I was paying for water-logged, chewy mussels (and corn) drenched in butter- which is fine if you have that amazing liquor the mussels release when they're cooked. It makes for an incredible sauce. Frozen mussels in plain butter? No thanks. All I want or expect when I order mussels is that delicious liquor. They should let people know their food is frozen. I ordered from here for my father's birthday today after seeing it pop up on UberEats. I read the reviews on here and figured it would at least be good. It was GREAT. My father was very, very happy with his lunch of shrimp, clams, lobster, and scallops. We got it all with the garlic butter seasoning as neither of us are really fans of Old Bay, and the garlic flavor was phenomenal and absolutely perfect in every way. My father even mentioned multiple times that he wished he could store the leftover garlic butter in the bag for later! Everything was cooked perfectly with good portion sizes and packaged very neatly. Delivery was also fairly fast. We plan on getting out there and visiting in person when we can. We chose the medium spicy level but didn't find it very spicy so I would say that if you like spice, go on and get it hot. Although we like spicy food, the flavor of the undeniably fresh seafood and beautiful garlic butter seasoning totally put that out of our minds. The corn was also very juicy and great for rolling around in the butter. Same goes for the gorgeous, tender potatoes. I cannot wait to have this again and try more of the offerings!
